"12 indoor basketball court stadium"
"GYM: This gym is quite good for the price, considering it's cheaper than most of the gyms in my area and it's quite easy to get to with the entrance being connected to a majorly used road and a bus stop being situation right outside of the building"
"Facility is pretty"
"I booked in for two hours and payed for it"
"I recently joined the gym and the facilities are great"
12 indoor basketball court stadium. Outdoor Netball courts aswell. wheelchair accessible. toilet & showering facilities inside the venue. Court 1 (main court) has Grand stand seating for spectators. Eagle stadium has a cafeteria with healthy choice of snack food , fruits , ice creams , cold & hot drinks. Lockers are available also to Securely lock away your valuables whilst your time at Eagle Stadium (including use of the fitness Center/gym equipment) Domestic basketball competition games run of an afternoon /nighttime. VJBL games Are played out on werribee home courts when rep teams are rostered for a ‘home game’. Saturday & Sunday: during the BigV season , from March - October ; the showcourt (court1) is used for BigV Panel games ; when Werribee Devils Teams get fixtured for a home game. These games bring a bigger crowd of local supporters & provide a Great , competitive atmosphere around the Game of Basketball . When the warmer weather hits , court 1&2 seem to maintain the coolest courts (smaller area to keep the airconditioned space , cool. I believe courts are available for hire requests ; subject to availability /bookings. Free Courts for a casual shoot around is also Available subject to availability with Eagle stadium - however if free , I believe courts can be used when persons front a small court fee. MASSIVE onsite car park , disabled parking spaces are situated closest to the stadium entrance. This stadium is one of the biggest & best stadiums I’ve been to in the entire country. Well facilitated, Friendly & helpful staff also. Show court when venue holds Events Eg: South Sudanese Australian National Classic , where portable grand stand is pulled out & stadium reaches Full Capacity (Patrons,Players,Spectators,Referees,Coaches, Volunteers) is one Atmosphere I’ve experienced- like no other !! Would highly recommend bringing the kids down for a quality game day experience. v
GYM: This gym is quite good for the price, considering it's cheaper than most of the gyms in my area and it's quite easy to get to with the entrance being connected to a majorly used road and a bus stop being situation right outside of the building. I will say that with a cheap comes a lot of attraction, meaning that the gym can be really populated at times, mainly after school finishes, I've personally found that going in the mornings or in the later hours of the night before the stadium closes is when it's usually empty enough that you can get to all the equipment you need without any issues. The gym itself is a bit small and doesn't offer too many exercises, especially in terms of legs, there could definitely be more respect towards leg day lol. I will say that I have been having payment issues with the gym as well which could be caused by a whole bunch of new people joining due to new years but it get's quite annoying at times, especially when it's frequent. BASKETBALL COURTS: I play basketball here every week and sometimes use the courts for random shooting or training after going to the gym, the courts are quite nice, regularly cleaned and I've never had issues trying to figure out which courts I'm supposed to be going to Overall, very nice
Facility is pretty. Unfortunately more effort goes in to the aesthetic than the running of their basketball program. Competition Manager Chris is impossible to contact, my wife is still waiting on return call post knee injury at the facility in 2021 and I can't seem to get a reply via email on a number topics. Price of registration keeps going up even with a competition that regularly runs with 1 ref on a court due a decrease in ref numbers. I've witnessed a ref put his hands on a player, complaint was made and had to follow up the status of the complaint 10 months later only to find out nothing had been done about it. Poor standards and a lack of integrity. I feel for future generations of basketball players unless a change is made in the day to day operations of the competion.
I booked in for two hours and payed for it. I came out and asked if they can put the credit for my last hour for the next game and the girl made a note in the system about this. I called couple of weeks later to book in for the game and they said no note has been made regarding so. The service is so poor and the manager handled poorly. I asked her to check the camera for the staff member who made the note and they said cameras are used only for emergency. I mean if it’s my money you have no respect for it. They should find get the staff member on duty that day and ask them then telling me I have to pay again. Undertrained staff Poor management Disappointed with the manager They should fire the people who don’t know how to help. They just sit and do nothing.
I recently joined the gym and the facilities are great. There is everything you could need for equipment from cardio to strength including a lifting platform, matrix set up with a trx & rings provided. The lay out is functional, hours are perfect and there is even a creche for a small fee during mid mornings on weekdays. The courts are well maintained and a much needed upgrade from what it was. Staff are friendly, it's a clean facility and plenty of parking is available. Not sure how it goes though when the kids have game days on weekends.
Very good indoor and out door sports centre. Excellent courts and lots of activities 365 days a year. Variety of sports from table tennis to basket ball. Good availability. Massive parking area which occasionally gets full when special events are organised. Good gym and group classes. You get reciprocal entry to aqua pulse if you get a wyn fit pass. Food is ok and clearly marked from healthy to non-healthy choices. They also have recycle bin which accepts plastic bottles and prints discount vouchers and offers.
Wyndham City’s Eagle Stadium is the largest indoor recreation facility in Melbourne’s West. The $47 million complex features: a 1,500 seat show court, 12 indoor multi-purpose courts, 4 outdoor netball courts, a state of the art gym, dedicated group fitness and spin class rooms, a crèche, café and ample parking. Architecturally striking, the building features high ceilings and natural light - it is insulated for noise and thermal impact and has many sustainable features reducing its impact of the environment.
Excellent facilities for community sport. The gym is great value for money but after a while the lack of supervision on kids and teenagers in the gym gets tiring... weights all over the place, disorganised equipment, kids operating equipment they aren't trained/suited for... after 3 years here I can only see the situation worsen and I'm already campaigning to convince my wife to move to another gym.
Gym member of 3+ years here and I won’t be renewing my contract. Countless maintenance issues (you’d think the place is 100+ years old), gym regularly closes early and inconsiderate staff. Don’t get me started on the ridiculous parking situation on weekends. Wyndham council needs more facilities to keep up with the 300k+ residents
I'm rather shocked in the decline of cleaning post covid. Toilets are filthy, not just the cisterns, but the floor and grout needs a jolly good scrub. If this is how the bathrooms are, what's it like now in the Cafe? Gross. Sorry guys but lift your game, your toilet near the creche entry is the most disgusting I've ever seen it.
Go here for gym and basketball. Great facilities but would like an upgrade to be in line with Geelong's own community basketball stadium. Facilities are clean but too small for such a growing community. Glad we have a second gym by WynActive near Aqua Pulse, because otherwise this gym would be overcrowded.
Great venue. I take my son for the junior basketball matches and it's a great place with good facilities. Only issue is the traffic on the way to eagle stadium, all the road in werribee, hoppers crossing and wyndham vale areas need some major rethinking. E.g. remove all the round abouts!
This place is amazing. Busy. Clean. A great facility to focus kids on healthy sport activity. I go there for dancing. Paul and Anna's Dance House International run Latin, Salsa and Bachata classes in the kindergarten of a Tuesday night. Great fun. The best teachers. Very professional.
Drive Throught for 1st & 2nd Booster's open Monday to Fridays 8.30am _3.45pm Closed Saturday Sunday but only on Appointment Time booking on line or Phone Bookings only for Sat /Sund ,as Iwas there on Monday 4th April for my 2nd Booster all staff very Friendly arrived 8.40am_left 9am
Coronavirus Wyndham vaccination hub this location has the capacity to take large volume bookings and generally accept next day bookings I attended and there was no waiting at all and was in and out within 20 minutes and this includes the 15 min waiting time after your vaccination
Been looking for indoor basketball courts for awhile and finally did!! I absolutely loved eagle stadium! Modern, up to date with amazing facilities and equipment ☺️ extremely lovely workers aswell who are very knowledgeable!! Can be very busy so book a court ahead of time!
Great stadium but it needs to be at least double the size if not bigger to cope with the amount of basketball games not to mention training throughout the week . When you're sending games to local schools for weekend comp you know it's time for more courts to be built.
The gym is well laid out with machines and free weights. Murray the trainer on duty was extremely helpful and was willing to help with instructions on how to use machines. The second entrance allows members to enter straight from the car park which is a great feature.
Beautiful stadium. Lovely staff. I give 3 stars coz that damn roof still leaks when it's wet and we have had games cancelled because of it. Someone needs to take responsibility for this and fix it because it would be a 5 star sporting facility.
Today me and my wife visited Eagle Stadium for our vaccine 1st dose. It's was a very pleasant experience, everything in order, helpful staff from parking till back to parking. I highly recommend everyone to book an appointment for vaccination.
Brand new facility by Wyndham Council. Lot of courts for basketball, badminton, netball and heaps more sports can be played. They have gym also but its way to expensive and they charge administration fees also. Fitness classes are very good.
Small gym but acceptable. Drinking water is warm! Showers are useless. Larger Dumbbells are difficult to press due to the larger diameter of the weight. They shut half the gym floor to run circuit classes, which isn't fair for other members.
Venue is super clean and spacious. Service is great and staff are friendly and informative. The facilities are clean and we'll maintained. Overall the stadium is a great place to run practice sessions and comps. Highly recommend! Thanks!!
The stadium was great but we paid $5 for 3 raffle tickets only to find out there was only one grand prize one winner which was meat tray, family size pies and chips and lollies. Come on, shouldn’t it be a second and third prize.
+ 1 super welcoming staff. + 1 logical reuse of courts + 1 heaps of parking and bus availability. - 1 internal gates could get super confusing. - 1 court bookings are often changed without prior notice.
Some very friendly staff. Love the late night opening hours for the gym. The toilet facilities are clean. Lots of parking although better to go to gym late in a bid to get a good park as it is a popular place for good reason.
What a fantastic stadium. Plenty of well appointed courts. Very clean and dry considering the latest floods to Victoria. They even have a fabulous and relaxing Cafe for all to use. Great place for non players as well.
The stadium is good, we play badminton, the lighting is not optimal as you loose the shuttle in the lights sometime. The floor has multiple courts mapped and the overlapping lines make it confusing to judge the lines
Perfect spot for someone who is looking for a great motivating gym! Clean and vibrant....the basketball court is good too. Staff is welcoming and helpful. If you are a student, they have great discounts for you :)
Great basketball facility, gymnasium area, multiple indoor basketball courts, clean facility, easy to understand layout of courts and areas, friendly helpful staff. Nice cafe decent selection of food
Good one with clean and tidy courts. The lighting is very good. Spacious courts. You would need call them up to get the booking done. It could have been better if online booking is available.
By the time of posting, this site is being used as vaccination centre. The surrounding is well maintained and very clean. Help is available anywhere. And personnel are very kind ang helpful.
I love coming here to play my sports, everyone here is so welcoming and friendly. Would highly recommend if your a gym lover or want to sign up to a club for your children.
So Many courts available and pretty cheap. All staff super nice and professional. Food court there clean and hygienic. Vaccination hub there was good to walk in walk out.
Great covid 19 vaccination hub. Excellent staff, very good atmoshete, all of the staff were very friendly & helpful . And quite fast too. Well done. Jab done …
nice stadium , but they should make dedicated courts for badminton. sometimes light creates problem. otherwise nice facility for playing basketball and badminton
Ample parking and a great cafe. Gym has excellent equipment, a non judgemental atmosphere. Feel relaxed and not self conscious. Staff are very supportive.
Had a great time watching a friends daughter's win both their basketball finals. Just wish the cafe had a better range of ice creams to celebrate the wins
Used to live around here and would visit very often. Great place to find and join some social sport or hiring a court and playing with your friends
Nice Facilty for different sports. Wooden badminton court although converted from a basketball court. But still recommended for indoor games.
Great place. Friendly staff and great overall experience. Only suggestion is the bright overhead lights make it impossible to play badminton
Great infrastructure for sports and multiple training programs running all through the year. Ample parking space and a massive gymnasium.
Good place to be,well invested on fitness. Gym is tidy and full of variety of equipments. Enjoyed every session I had at this place.
The place is huge. But i didn't like the lighting and the floor board used for badminton court. Too glare and difficult to focus.
Excellent venue and excellent service by the tall, young, handsome gentleman at the front. I believe his name was Ben. 10/10
A super 12-court basketball and multi-purpose venue and facility. It puts so many "new" and revamped facilities to shame.
Good venue for basketball. Very busy on Saturdays . Car parking can be an issue. Cafe has good food and drink options
Love it! Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Clean and tidy. It's also awesome to shoot some hoops before a gym session.
The Wyndham Vaccination Hub was super efficient and everyone was caring whilst we came for my sons vaccination. ❤
Great venue, great reception staff. Very friendly and were able to help us change net height within an instant.
As a vaccination centre it is well organised with professional staff. Got my two jabs there, great experience
Best indoor stadium. There is a badminton court, basketball court, volleyball court, gym and lot more ....

This a very well set out stadium. There are multiple courts and they have hot food and delicious coffee.
Great venue with plenty of parking. Such a fabulous atmosphere when the kids are playing basketball
Beautiful stadium went there to watch my Granddaughter play basketball. Also good food & coffee
What a great basketball stadium and gymnasium, clean, modern and a great menu at the cafe :)
Gym is nice and quiet, have enjoyed going there. The fitness coaches have been helpful.
Easy parking access, clean, organised, food and drink kiosk, merch shop at front door.
Great facilities and venue. We need more facilities like this within the region.
Good place for grand kid's to play learn how to play basketball under 8s …
An ideal spot for sports enthusiasts, boasting ample space for enjoyable play.
We use the badminton court on a weekly basis. The facility is well maintained.
I haven't been there, just driven or walked past. But it always seems busy
They need seats. It's hard watching the kids if you have a weak back
Hugely used. Very popular. Staff friendly. Facilities clean
Staff are friendly and inclusive. Great experiences here.
