Gave E-Bike Universe Calgary one star because they are very good at one thing, taking your money. Beware of Jay. Smiling Hank when trying to sell you something...Casper the Ghost if you have issues. Sent me a non functioning bike, shipped it out of Province and ignored me. Intentional? Who knows, but I can see that this may have been his only way of dumping this bike from his inventory, considering my experiences with Daymak. This is a culture issue with Ebike Universe/Daymak, Hard to tell where one ends and the other begins. No concept of customer service. Prepare to make it a full time job getting information from them if you have issues. Finally got my bike operational after 2 1/2 months of calling and emailing Daymak (literally dozens of calls and emails). Had to bring a third party in to diagnose the problem. It was a build issue with the wiring. It was obvious this bike was worked on, stripped battery terminal screws, worn wires, and one ignition key cover opening device was damaged. A returned product possibly? This issue should have been caught somewhere and should have never left the dealership. The bike wouldn't charge.....how can you not know that before you ship it out of your store? Check out other reviews of other Ebike locations and you'll see this is a corporate issue, it's the culture throughout the organization of Daymak. That all said, I'm enjoying my bike now that it works. I'll post a review of the Kingston on YouTube as unbiased information is hard to find on Daymak.

Would not recommend, worst customer service experience I’ve ever had with any business and now have a ebike that I’ve owned since 2017 with 250 Klms on it that looks like it’s ready for the dump,it’s that full of cracks. No documentation signed or discussed going in the appointment that cracks of any kind existed on the bike. Got home with both bikes to discover my pretty pink next to new Chameleon was cracked up from under the handlebars to the front tire and around the headlight and all on the left side of the bike has multiple cracks. The bike came home without the signal lights working and no charger that went with it. The business is refusing to take any responsibility for the damage. Both my bikes were in their shop from May 13 till May 21st and over $1300 later in batteries and service and I get a cracked up bike that I have to fix at a expensive cost. Not to mention the bike had to be travelled back to the shop where it remained another 2 days to get the signal lights working again and to get my charger back. I’m sharing this experience for the next person going in to make sure they take pictures of their bike for their own security and have a document signed upon arrival that all is free and clear.

When my wife and I moved to Alberta from out of province late last fall, our new e-bikes moved with us. I had overcharged them and followed charging instructions from the dealer where we bought these two e-bikes. We called Ebike Universe and spoke with Mo. I shared with him our tentative issues and he scheduled a time convenient to us to service our e-bikes. He punctually arrived at the scheduled time and immediately recognized our batteries were fried. To our disappointment, he loaded our e-bikes in his well equipped service vehicle to bring them to his shop. Fast forward. He installed the batteries and delivered our e-bikes at a pre-arranged time. Mo is an outstanding, shoot from the hip type of guy. I knew the first time we met that he was a trustworthy person, experienced and knows his craft fluently. Mo, you are the consummate professional and would with-out hesitation refer you with anyone who would require service for their e-bikes. Thank you for being there! Anthony & Tiffany

Bought the Daymak Chameleon. Love the bike, however, nothing but problems. I’ve had it a little over 3 months. It was a real struggle to get a hold of the owner? No one there at 2 pm after I called to say I’m coming to purchase a bike. Ok. Family emergency I get it. Then got my first flat. Then the mat that covers the battery flew off, because it’s not fastened to anything? So gravity has that win. Then Another flat. Now. I call to say my charger just simply went dead. Their advice was to come purchase a new one? For a $100. My question is why the charger is toast after only 3 months? Can it be fixed. Buying another one is my only option. Lots of problems and not very good customer service. Too bad, because I love the bike, and get asked a lot about it. And WHY did I pay for an extended warranty, if nothing is covered? The bike without the charger is useless.

The manager, Mo, sold me the Daymak London 20 that was exactly what I was looking for in size and features of an electric bike. There was a problem with the first bike and a long delay to wait for new parts to come in. They did not let the bike leave the shop without making sure it was working correctly. Mo suggested a different color of the same bike that was already in stock and I decided to take that one, rather than wait longer. My boyfriend bought an electric bike last year and had a flat tire. They switched the tire with a Brand new one to get his bike on the road faster. We were very impressed with the professional,friendly and knowledgeable service. The store has a great assortment of unique and interesting products for recreation and mobility. We are very happy with our bikes! Thanks Ebike Universe!

Do not go here to spend your hard earned money. I tried purchasing an E-Bike through a financing company that I've secured on my own, not their in house company, and apparently they "no longer sell Daymak E-scooters... Yet their site shows many in stock, it's like they don't want to sell to people unless they use their financial services. The entire time we were emailing I got the impression that I was an inconvenience for them, they didn't seem interested in trying to sell a $4000 unit, too much work I guess. There's many other Daymak retailers, not sure why this place has an ego problem, but I guess they don't want to sell me a scooter, their loss.

Yesterday, I called them to get some information about the electric cars and type of functionalities available. After getting good info, immediately went to grab one mini cooper 6v electric car for my son before they get closed. Met guy named Jay (if i m not mistaken) at reception, who was knowledgeable about products and gave me right recommendation basis my requirements. I was happy to pick installed model after being fully inspected & tested, also comes with warranty. Great customer service with an intention to serve customers well. Car is working great! Thanks

Bought a rogue last season ran great! Brought in for battery change this season..... from there somehow the Bluetooth controller needed replaced...the guy installed a led one for another ebike model. Then replaced throttle. Baffled to how all this went as it all worked prior to then receiving it. Daymak in Toronto questions this as well as all systems independent. Now my mirror wobbles as it missing a screw and the cruise no longer works. Battery range is horrible. Now stuck with a piece of junk..... Would not recommend this location to anyone.

We purchased a Rickshaw King Mobility Scooter at this store. The scooter was well prices and we love the quality of it. The store owner, Jay, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Jay went over and above to make sure the scooter was in top condition so we would not be inconvenienced in any way because we were out of town customers. It made us feel extra well taken care off and confident in our purchase. We will return for future purchases to this store - for sure.

Don’t buy from this place. The 2 guys that run this store are liars that just want your money. My husband bought a mobility scooter last summer and has only used it a month because the batteries keep dying. They won’t look at it without paying more money and unfortunately the new batteries that we had to pay for before winter have already died and aren’t under warranty. Go anywhere else

I work in a bike shop and a client recently purchased three e-bikes from this shop. They brought them after 15 km of riding, essentially brand new. Beware. Cheap cheap parts and not assembled properly. Bent derailleur hangers, poorly aligned brakes and no grease in bottom bracket. The components are Walmart quality. Please be careful when purchasing here.

In November I ordered a red Wild Goose e-bike for my wife for Christmas. Luke and Jay got it in on time, put it together and my wife was so pleased. On top of that, they got her a nice red helmut! Extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The place to shop for electric bikes, boomer buggy, scooters or other unique forms of transport.

I bought a Daymak beast and a Chameleon from Jay and am extremely happy with both products . The beast had a lighting issue but that was quickly resolved by Jay . The beast always draws a crowd and I am constantly telling people check out ebikeuniverse in Calgary and talk to Jay or Luke....... awesome customer service .

Just bought a new e-scooter and couldn't be happier. Jake and his niece are great people to work with, very positive and welcoming. They are very knowledged about their products and provide excellent customer service. If you want fun and awesome electrical toys; this is the place to get them and with good pricing.

I would not recommend buying any product from this business. They have the worst customer service humanly possible. Their mobility scooters are junk and constantly breaking down. If you are considering purchasing an electric scooter, my advice would be to spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

Never answers the phone and voicemail is full so you can't leave a message. They have my scooter and said there were problems putting it together. Said they would update me yesterday at end of day but nobody called and now I can't reach them. So disappointed in their service so far.
