I usually get gas from Esso, and live close to this location so I used to go there every week few times. On Sunday night 22 May 2022 arround 12:50 am, I visited this location and I parked at pump exactly face to cashier window and I think it was pump #2, I didn't know how much gas exactly need to make it full tank, so I tried to pump it first but it didn't work, I realized it should be prepaid for that time so I went inside store, and talk to a man cashier, I told him I don't know how much exactly Will take gas that's why I want to pump first and pay but he said now all prepaid and that's way it is, and if you don't like it you can go to other gas stations like other Esso or Petro Canada location, Cashier was so rude, unprofessional and needs customer service training for sure. He doesn't need to refer customer to another location instead of talking to them nicely and find the way to make them satisfied with service, beside that I totally understand because of increasing gas price, some people pump gas and drive away but if customer parked exactly in front of your window and you can see license plate and whole gas station and pumps have cameras why you try to make life hard for others, Nothing was worst than cashier's attitude and being so rude to customer, I never go back to this location.

My friend bought two $100 Vanilla gift cards from this Esso store, later we found out one of the two cards was not activated even extra $13.45 activation fee was charged for the two cards. So we called Vanilla, they said they needed the receipt to have the card activated, but we could not locate the receipt at that moment, we went to the store and talked to the manager Mandi. We asked her to help to reprint the receipt for us. We even showed Mandi the bank statement of the credit card we paid for the gift cards which clearly showed the amount, the date and the location the charge was for and Mandi even said she remembered our friend's face and she would help us to search for the video. Two days after, i called her, she said she could not locate either the record or the video for that day. I asked her what we should do then, it is $100. She said she could not do anything about it, she even said who knows people can pick up cards from the ground, it is SOOOOOOOOO rude! And then she hanged up and never called us back even she promised she would. Luckily my friend found the original receipt later and we had the card activated. When we looked at the receipt, it showed the cashier for the transaction was just the Manager Mandi herself!

My experience at this esso station east side of leslie has restored my faith in mankind!!! I left my purse there on friday may 7 at around 10 am and didnt realize i had done so until about 5 pm. I called and they said they had it, and that there was a lot of money in it. Unfortunately i had already cancelled all my cards. But i didnt care, it was there!! I drove back into the city (i live in grafton a good hour east) and there it was. By now it was 6 pm. It had been there all day.... and all the money was still inside!! The lovely young man refused the $50 bill i offered, saying he couldnt possibly accept it. Well, i was blown away. And am so grateful that we have people like this in our world. Good on you!! I will always use this gas station going forward and it will make my day every time i use it. I encourage all of you to do the same. We must support the good people in our crazy world, always. I used Esso at Leslie & Coldwater (1869 Leslie St. North York, ON) to fill up my car. I went inside to prepay $40. When I got to the station it did not show anything. I started fueling premium gas and it did not stop at $40 and went all the way to full tank ($71.78) which is fine but when I got back to the cashier it charged me for both 71.78 and a weird amount of $43.21 that I prepaid although I asked for $40. The prepaid balance was not applied to my bill. The station has my receipts. Esso location will not give me $40 worth of gas, told me to come next day to talk to the manager. Nothing came of it and I am still waiting to get $40 back. I was told multiple times to come back to the station at inconvenient times hopefully to see the manager. Overall, I had to come back multiple times and I still cannot get back my money or gas after multiple attempts. This is very frustrating and is waste of time.

Lazy and rude all indian staff all very unprofessional!!! Today was -35 and no gas other than regular was available but how is one to know when there is NO SIGNS nor does the indian lady answer the help button I have been pushing when I came in she was on her mobile phone texting and had no interest in explaining or apologizing nor did she think it would be a good idea to put up a sign for people to know which gas is available

I basically only shop at Esso. This is when I usually pick up a cup of coffee, lottery tickets and fill up with gas and buy my car wash tickets. They're very helpful and I highly recommend the established Esso gas stations. They're always very clean. The staff at Lawrence & Underhill location are very helpful and quick. The atoms is small but has a good assortment of meals and fresh droughts.

I asked the gas attendant to get me a sprite out of the fridge from the back as i could see a full case so I could receive the 2 for 4$ deal as I waited patiently in line for 5 mins to ask. He said "he didn't have time" due the line long line of people getting gas. Disrespectful and bad customer service. I go there everyday after work but I won't anymore.

Tried to use the tire pump. First attempt was by tap which failed after less than five seconds. I went to the desk and asked and they said that only twoonies work. Tried again with a twoonie and it failed after under thirty seconds. Again went to desk and the staff told me that it's a third party machine and they can't reimburse me. Will not go back.

This place is a FRAUD. Please don't go again. Paid at the pump via app. Then was told that payment didn't go through. I was then requested to go into the store to pay, at which point they tricked me into paying for a different pump that had a cost of twice of what I paid for. Ended up paying 3x what I pumped!

The brown girl on the counter needs to take customer service lessons. She’s very bad at what she does, very rude to the customers. She’s always on the phone. Doesn’t do her job properly. Just be cause of her, I have stopped going to this Esso gas station location.

We used to go here all the time before because it was close by until it shut down for a while. The gas has gotten pretty expensive though, and there is no more car wash either unfortunately. So now we go somewhere else to get gas for a cheaper price.

The one and only gas attendant left the station to help someone fill air in the tires. I'm all for customer service. But when people are trying to also get gas and other things in the station that's a no. You stay within the store.

with tim hortons and decent washroom this gas station is a good place for freshing up...but gas prices are always high when compared with scarborough.. no car wash here..lill busy always ...

The Indian girl on the counter was very rude to me. She’s very disrespectful. She doesn’t have manners. No customer service at all. You have to take care of this. We don’t accept this

Standard full service gas station. Turnover is usually quick. It could get difficult to merge back into Leslie going south if there is a lot of traffic.

Was out of gas and did not give a reason why. Was not able to tell me the next available Esso location for gas. Hesitant to go back

Very Rude. Won't let you fill up if your tank is on the other side of the pump though you have enough room.

The one of the women employee is so rude for customer. When I ask, she is just ignore what I am saying.

Gas is gas, they have it. Tim's coffee is not as good as it used to be, so switched to McDonald's.
