Thls is our closest gas station , not the cheapest but its convinient and also has a Tim Horton's inside . Its very busy because of this fact and maneuvering in and out can be hazardous at times. Seen a lot of fender benders too. Mostly caused by people in too much of a rush and blocking others or just plain driving too fast for conditions. As an all weather cyclist I sometimes cannot use the bike rack. There have been several bikes stolen from the bike rsck area. If accessible I will lock my bike here. If not i park on lot by yellow protective bollards. Cars can still park in front of me. Personally i don't like people parking there bikes on the pathway, leaning on the window etc. This is causing people with scooters and walkers problems. Lean your bikes on the bollards road racer cyclist. Like Howie Mandel I am OCD this is very challenging when using public washroom. The staff at Esso do a wonderful job keeping it in order. Also I use the City of Burlington visitors washroom as backup. Some people are pigs ang leave disgusting messes behind when using public washroom. Before i can use the facility I will sanitize myself sorry if your waiting lol. I am doing this review several years after my last. I have a friend who has been living on the streets and we often meet and have coffee at Esso. Management have been somewhat less than compassionate on occassion about him being on the property ( we are all Tims customers) and at times, me being there. He does not panhandle. People, are very warm to this person and what I have seen people giving him gift cards...coffee cards even treats for his dog. Way to go Burlington. Expressing empathy and love to this person was visible and moving too see.

I purchased gas on Wednesday August 12, 2020 and then asked for 1 quick pick lotto 6/49 and one quick pick ontario 49. I had won one free ticket lottario plus $4.00 cash. I asked the gas station attendant to give me 4 quick pick lottario. On the cash register screen, the gas was $20.05 plus 649 $3 plus ontario 49 $1 and the lottario was $4.00. With the $4.00 cash it went toward my total purchase of $28.05. The net purchase was $24.05. I took out my credit card to pay and since it was a new card, it did not work. The transaction record said transaction was cancelled. I asked the clerk for all my forms and tickets including the ones that won. He gave them to me. Today is Sunday August 16, 2020. I took out my lottery tickets and forms and the transaction record was the one that was cancelled and does not show the total $28.05 less the $4.00 cash that I had won. I did not get my 4 lottario tickets. So I am writing this review to let you know that the clerk scammed me my $4 that I had won since I did not get my lottario tickets. He said "Thank you" and I wondered why because usually the clerks don't say "Thanks". Now I have to go back to the gas station where I was ripped off my $4.00 cash to get my money back. Don't buy any gas or lottery tickets from this gas station. They are thieves. So. I went back to the gas station this afternoon and requested my $4.00 cash back after explaining the occurrence last Wednesday. I showed the young girls the ticket that won $4.00 cash and the cancelled gas receipt showing the $20.05 gas purchased. She called the manager and the manager told her to give me the $4.00 cash. The big guy from the Indian subcontinent who robbed me was not there today.

This is a conveniently located station with new pumps and great services cor the location. Fuel, car wash, Tim Hortons and a full service convenience store. They are however missing customer service. The clerk working in the store was rude and spoke down to the customer in front of me who was paying in coins... not pennies, nickles or dimes but rather quarters, loonies and toonies all legal tender here in Canada. She argued with him while spoking in a demeaning manner and sighing numerous times until the customer said "Ok, I'll just use my debit card". She was very consistant in her service becase when it was my turn, she was no different. Rude and demeaning. I'll gladly use another fuel station and express my concern by moving my spend to another station.

Too bad. Been coming here since 2016. New pumps won't do Speedpass, but you don't find out until you've started a transaction. Messed up my app, not canceled properly, now I'm stuck with an transaction in limbo, unable to use the app. Employee hadn't even SEEN the app before, lacked any empathy for the situation, just curt and disinterested as if I inconvenienced him just by talking. FYI the Esso up on Plains takes speedpass, employees are willing and able to help with app issues. Guess it's time to switch stations.

Good clean and well located gas station. The price of gas is usually hi compared to others. But it must cost them to be located on the lake shore and they are the only game in town so they can charge a premium! There is a Tim Horon's inside the gas station, no drive through... This ESSO also has a touchless drive through car wash, a vacuum and air for your tires.

Got a full service of gas, car wash and buying from inside the store. The cashier is lovely and smiles all the time and being super friendly. The place is well organized and everything is easy to find. There's a Tim Hortons as well, which gives me my doze of caffeine. Convenient location as well. Good experience overall.

I was stuck inside the car wash machine for 32mins and there was no support or help at all with 2 kids in the car, and when I got out and complained to the cashier, his excuse was he was working alone. Such a waste of time and money and ended washing the car somewhere else.

Clean, well stocked and tidy pump islands. Haven't been in the convenience store in some time only because I have not needed help with a transaction. Modern pumps and state of the art carwash facility on site. This station is my downtown go-to!

The staff at this gas station are great people like kate, Claudia, Sydney, darsey and kyle, all of them are really friendly. But I noticed the customers that come to this gas station are all degenerate’s and sometimes don’t follow the rules.

On Tuesday the car-wash wasn't working properly and had to be reset. The lady who came out to help me was so sweet and patient and offered me a free wash for my time. Completely unnecessary but so appreciated.

I’m not sure why, but this gas station hires the worst attendants. Always awful service and rude staff. The service at the Tim Hortons on the other hand was always excellent. Very fast and friendly staff.

I had the best experience today filling up gas at this location, and it’s all because of Kyle. He didn’t do much but little things stand out. He’s a great employee.

This store is well located, with a built in Tim Hortons, and an excellent selection of most convenience store items. Its a shame that the Tim Hortons isn't 24/7.

High priced, all the customers are looking so sad and looking at the ground when they walk. However they do have a nice Tim hortons set-up inside.

This location has the best drive through carwash. Really convenient location. Great access. Tim Hortons on site. Convenience store operations.

Night staff needs to change So rude for no reason…horrible behaviour …..if you cant solve the problem regarding store…dont work here then…

This gas-station was very good, it had anything a traveller would need for a trip inside, and the staff had good customer service.

Gas was very expensive over there in comparison to other gas stations in other parts of GTA.
