"It was weekend night"
"Convenient parking for the top end of Collins Street and events at Sofitel"
"This is my preferred place to park as easy to access from spring st and it internally connects to the galleria shopping plaza feels very safe"
"Absolutely horrendous carpark in general"
"Great place to park your Car"
It was weekend night. I pre-booked a car park spot on the day morning. When I went there, there were no available spot and everyone was going around to find a spot. I checked all levels and still couldn’t find any so I needed to ask people in the end who came out from the building whether I could take their spot if they were leaving. It took 30min to get the spot. There are a lot of reserved spots so less spots to park. If there are full, they shouldn’t accept new entry or remind me even 30min before booking time or any other way to avoid this. So I didnt need to be late for appointment on the day. I hope they can consider my review and getting better system. So less people would experience like me.
Convenient parking for the top end of Collins Street and events at Sofitel. Underground car park is multilevel, with 5 floors, and an unusual EXTREMELY tight, dizzying, steep spiral driveway both up and down. Tightest curve in the spiral/corkscrew driveway is on the way up which is "inside" the centre of the Down spiral ramp. Even large SUVs can easily make it but the driver will need to concentrate not to scrape either the front or rear of the car, especially on the way up, especially if you are in the lowest level. Like being in a spiral tunnel. Bit expensive to park there though, especially during the day on weekdays.
This is my preferred place to park as easy to access from spring st and it internally connects to the galleria shopping plaza feels very safe. Very tight corkscrew going down and you need to go 3 levels if you pay on line. I have a medium SUV and it's very tight just be careful my sensors going haywire. Parking bays are big vs other venues. Departing is much easier. Swipe in and out with credit card piece of cake.
Absolutely horrendous carpark in general. No external signs on how to get back in from Flinders lane, two towers means two carparks, once you finally workout how to get back into the carpark (via Sofitel glass lifts), to get out of this carpark when a major event is on at the MCG took over 40 minutes just to get out of the carpark. I was only on level 2, felt reel sorry for those that were on levels 3 to 5.
Great place to park your Car. Very safe and heaps of car Spots to choose from. Whatever Car, small or huge, the spaces accommodate for all sizes. Why not take opportunity while at work, having your car cleaned a d washed by the staff. Take advantage of the early bird specials for great rates. If you book online though Wisons, you get a cheaper price.
DISGRACEFUL. $35 for a Saturday evening The useless attendant didn't tell us the car park was full so we entered and drove all the way down, fruitlessly looked for a space and eventually had to drive all the way back up and exit and go elsewhere. We wasted 10 minutes and were very nearly late for the performance we had booked. AVOID
Parked here for an AFL game yesterday (Saturday). Easy getting in however after the game (5pm) at Collins Place lined up for 15 min to get into the lift to get down to the car park, then 45 min to get out onto Flinders Lane. At the same time a mate who parked at Fed Square said it was a breeze for him getting out. I’ll park there next time.
Stair well door was open to enter at level 1 but was locked to exit to level 4 when we tried to return to the car there. Attendant tried to open from control point but couldn't. Level 3 was also locked. Fortunately we found level two opened. Not a fun end to a city visit for a claustrophobic.
The security manager and her team are the greatest. Had a issue locating my car, they couldn’t help me enough. If you want outstanding customer service and peace of mind your car is secure. Look no further, would recommend and will be the only car park service I would use.
Easy carpark to use but wow it's expensive. Loads of levels with tight corners. Got my medium 4wd in and out with roof racks on bit your wouldn't want to be taller or longer or you'd have trouble. Watch out on the intersections of the ramps people fly through them.
This Wilson parking location is prime real estate in the Melbourne CBD, fantastic pricing at the moment whilst the city is in the recovery phase post pandemic. Plenty of parks available here, with plenty of well lit signage and payment terminals.
Be careful you enter the park that you actually pay for online as many are close together. I entered the driveway of the adjacent car park and was charged twice! Contacted them next day and they refunded one payment as a gesture of goodwill.
Worst place I have ever parked in the city. Booked online then once I got there there were no spare car parks available. Had to park in a reserved parking spot. Nightmare to get out of. Although very clean and safe Will never use again
Secure is cheaper if you book only but both only offer early bird if booked on line. I think Wilson's has better payment methods etc. Wilson's is higher than secure which is better for trades. Both car parks are next to each other
The worst. $5 for 30 mins, but it’s practically impossible to get in/out of the complex in that time, and next level fee is $30. Signs say to pay before returning to car, but the payment is in fact in car at the gate. Crooked.
Very convenient and reasonably priced for its location. We had a tight schedule, so we booked online in advance through the Wilson Parking app. The lift from the underground parking garage came up right next to Kino Cinema.
Do not park here if you want to exit quickly!!! Exit machine does NOT WORK consistently and it takes ages to get anyone on the phone/intercom to sort it out. Was stuck in a huge line for over 15 minutes trying to leave!!!
Excellent location in the heart of the CBD with good pricing for evening entry (after 4pm). The car park spaces are nice and deep for your longer cars. The only negative is the ramp in both directions are quite tight.
early bird now ONLINE only. Didn’t know it changed. makes zero sense. disappointed and had to pay $85 instead ghe usual $25. I feel ripped off, will never park there again. Hope the owners enjoy their new revenue.
Omg finally a clean, non smelly car park. if you are going to the theaters or china town it is only like a 10 minute walk. The spots themselves are super tight but just doin't bring a yank tank
One of my favourite Wilson Parking in Melbourne CBD as its great price and spacious spots. I always pre-book on the wilson app so it's cheaper than drive up cost. Easy to find parking.
Do not use this Carpark for event parking. The wait for the lifts to get to the Carpark after is very long. We parked on level 4 and it took us 1 and a half hours to exit.
This car park is much better than most of the others in the city. Still a bit pricey but has plenty of space and easy access out to the street through the elevator.
$88 to park. Let that sink in. $88.. what a rip off and an absolutely disgusting example of big business making more money then the service they deliver.
Very clean and secure car parking in the heart of Melbourne, with direct access to Sofitel Melbourne, car parking rates are very competitive.
Reliable carpark with flat rate parking for $12 drive up or $10 pre book online. Spots are wide and carpark is well lit up for night visits.
Note: About this Car Park As of 1st October, 2023 Wilson Parking no longer operates the Collins Place Car Park.
One of my favourite car parks. Roomy spots. Well lit. Convenient for Collins Place visits. A bit expensive.
Absolute rip off. Wouldn't park there again! When valet parking is cheaper then you know there's an issue!
You park your car and pay dearly for the privilege, but it is convenient to the upper section of the city
For tourists who want to know secure parking rates, Parking is connected to the Sofitel hotel collins
Almost scary going down that spiral pathway, confusing trying to find your way & expensive …
Pre booked parking was very easy just tap and go, was very busy to get out onto flinders lane.
Always full, even if pre booked. On way out, it's a traffic jam all the way back to the exit
Easy access. Clean and well lit. Recommend you book in advance online to get a great price.
Clean and bright parking space. Parking space can be a little hard to park at times.
easy to access and booking online straight forward. Grest central locations
Too expensive.. early bird hours shouldn’t be extended till late afternoon
Easy to book. Parking spots are bigger than many in the cities.
Clean, lifts worked and payment was easy via the app.
Good location. Online deals make it a great option
Price are unreal. Robbery 80$ for 3 hours carpark
Great you can book a park and pay in advance.
Clean, perfect location and excellent price!
Very convenient parking, good on wkends
Weekend parking at $5. It was worth it.
Easy access, nice clean and well lit.
Bit of a mission getting in and out
Very easy and convenient car park.
My car really likes parking here
We'll priced. Plenty of space.
very expensive public parking!
Scammers don’t park here
Good place to park.
Just a car park
Very convenient
Clean and tidy
Too tight!
Not bad
