Heard about the great Banh Mi at Fish Food and took a drive to give it a try. Banh Mi was delicious but the stand out for Fish Food was the owner and wife! Absolutely beautiful couple! Very warm and friendly, Tu is definitely very passionate about his food and takes great pride in what he delivers, which shows in the high standards that he dishes out. I also ordered some Fish and Calamari for dinner. Tu immediately spotted me as a foodie as I was eyeing the menu. He knew I was looking for something good and offered me an off the menu red emperor. Excellent suggestion, the fish and Calamari was perfectly cooked. His wife even snuck in a tartare sauce (perhaps just to make sure everything was perfect). Then we started talking about deserts so Tu personally made us some deep fried cheese cake. Don't be worried about the deep fried part, it's actually quite light and fluffy, super delicious. Definitely give it a try, you won't be disappointed! Thank you Tu and Moy for a lovely afternoon! Keep on creating those fabulous dishes! Sherwood is very lucky to have you!

Seriously great burgers and fish & chips! The steak burger had 3 super tender pieces of steak on it, and the B.A.B burger is a proper chip shop burger with the lot, pretty sure they weighed about 1kg each! Calamari was so tender I think we got about 50% more than we ordered. Great value, a burger, chips and drink is cheaper than a Maccas meal and 50000x better. Easily the best fish & chip shop in town! And the deep fried cheesecake was as decadent as it sounds.

All I can ever ask for. Awesome! I was looking for the Noodle shop and realised this shop "Fish Food" took over. Decided to give it a shot, I was immediately greeted by a friendly man I believe is the shop owner. Looking around, it's really clean, and neat. I then ordered fish and chips, which I had to choose between battered, crumbed or grilled. I decided on battered. The fish and chips was really good. Looks like I found my go to fish and chips shop.

I love this place. Fresh and tasty with good size cod fish fillet in batter, yummy sea scallops. Unpretentious but delivers the goods at the right prices. Beats other more expensive and popular places hands down!

Food was excellent, price was very reasonable and the owners are the definition of friendly and personable. Will be going back often, only downside is I will soon be morbidly obese and die of a delicious crumbed fish heart attack. My progeny will be given strict instructions to become constant patrons of this fine establishment however, so all will eventually be well.

I tried a sea perch meal with chips, potato salad and 2 extra potato scallops...It was absolutely beautiful The portion size was ,the food was tasty, fresh and well worth the $30.70 I paid for the whole meal (including the drink and the extra potato scallops) Keep up the good work and I'll be back

Great local shop to get some very nice fish n chips, I love the batter you make it's flavourful. Steve puts careful thought into each and every process to deliver great outcomes, even to small things such as cutting lemons to order to keep them tasting the best possible. You can tell he takes pride and puts his time and efforts in. Thanks Steve!

This place has old school service meaning a genuine welcome when you walk in the door. Super friendly staff and the food is the best. Love the way the grilled barramundi is cooked then wrapped in foil so the fish taste doest leak into the chicken salted chips beneath. If there were 100 stars to be had, this place would have it. A Sherwood gem!

Fish food is my new favourite fish and chips shop, everytime I pass by the area its a must stop drop in for food, have been multiple times trying different things, always good no matter what you order. Customer service is like no other, always feel very welcomed! Definitely recommend everyone to try! You won't be disappointed!

Customer service here is unparalleled with any current take away joint in Brisbane. Was welcomed with a friendly greeting and told my order was, ‘an excellent choice’. I ordered whiting, chips, and salad. The portion size was huge and the taste exceptional—chips well salted. Thank you fish food for a great Friday evening.

Not a review on the food, just a heads up that they're not actually open at 10am on a Sunday. They were very closed at 10:15am This review should be removed if this was a one off issue or if their times are updated. They did call at 10:30, so they should either be open then or at 10:40 (they said come in 10 minutes)

This local business has recently opened. The shop is clean & new, the man that served us was very friendly but most importantly, the fish & chips that we ordered where excellent. Everything was perfectly cooked, all 3 types of fish ordered, were beautifully fresh & filleted well, the chips & salad tasted great.

Lovely Fish and Chips, no excess fat/oil and crumbed fish is perfectly done and retains all the crisp crumbs. Good sized fillets of Cod and many extras if not wanting Seafood. Shop is small but very clean and welcoming. The staff are very friendly and efficient. I know Fish Food will be a regular stop for me.

We are stoked to have this great little fish and chip shop recently open up walking distance from home. We have been in for takeaway a couple of times now and have been impressed by the friendly service. The hot chips, with chicken salt, are hands down the best I have had for a very long time.

Best fish n chips in town, I've tried all of them. Great chips, nicely cooked fish, haven't had one overcooked fish here. Their grilled fish is just so flavourful. Also, they have an impressive array of drinks.

Ordered battered cod n chips + a grilled red emperor (and deep fried cheesecakes), and while the cod was really good, the red emperor stole the show 100% Also, ask about the chicken salt! You can definitely taste the effort put into refining it

First time that I have tried Fish Food and definitely not the last. Bought a family 4 pack with snapper, sea scallops, calamari and some potato scallops and the family is more than happy!!! Great food and looking forward to the next excuse to come back.

Excellent food and really friendly service. The fish was generously sized and perfectly cooked. The pineapple fritters have to be tried - they are dusted with cinnamon sugar which perfectly compliments the sweetness of the pineapple.
