The ladies at Flower to the People are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and if you're not getting your flowers and houseplants here, you're not getting the best service or the best products. If you want a beautiful, stylish arrangement of cut flowers, they've got you. And it won't be a staid bouquet with red roses and baby's breath; they'll make you something thrilling and vital that will be perfect for the occasion. If you want a new plant for that empty corner of your room, they'll help you choose one that needs the right amount of light, they'll help you understand how to care for it, and if you come back in a few weeks trying to figure out what you're doing wrong, they'll coach you through being better a better plant parent. There's also an ever-changing selection of pots to match any taste. Before Flower to the People, I had exactly no plants, and because I love the shop so much, I now have a dozen, and I'm figuring out how where I can put more!

I've been eyeing this shop for months and finally made space to get a plant from here. Super helpful team - the final time I went in I got help from Krista, the owner. The vibe of this shop is so amazing, I'm sad so many things were sold out or on back order but happy I managed to get 1 piece. The planter is also from the shop! The hours are a bit tough to get to but walked over on a Saturday and Krista offered to keep the stuff and drop it to Bridgehead for a later pick up during the week. Worked perfectly! Update: I did hear back finally and explained my perspective as a new customer being charged for flowers and not hearing back for days. Flowers were delivered today and my friend and family said they are beautiful. Thank you and good luck with your new location. ———— Have purchased an arrangement for a death in the family and have tried to email, message on IG, numerous times and no response. The phone number is also not working. Disappointing. I have tried for days and have asked for confirmation as the delivery address was not accurate. I will have to get my credit card company involved.

Really amazing experience. I'm not familiar with Ottawa and nice places for flowers. The look of the bouquets on their website looked fresh, seasonal, and modern so I went with them and they did not disappoint! We had a mix up with the flowers not being delivered the first try, and when I inquired to resolve the problem, they were SUPER quick and helpful to resolve the issue and sent a new bouquet asap. Great communication and genuine experience. I would 100% order from them again and I fully appreciate their customer service. 10/10 would recommend their services to anyone. Cheers guys!

TLDR: Cute shop with nice assortment of plants. Friendly staff. Worth visiting. After a particularly hard day at work, I decided to check out this shop as a “pick me up”. As soon as I walked in, I saw one of my wish list plants; the black ZZ plant! It was the size and price I was looking for too! Needless to say, the plant jumped right rib to my hands (funny how that happens sometimes). When I went to purchase my new plant, I ended up chatting a bit with the person behind the counter. They were clearly knowledgeable and such a joy to chat with. Overall a great experience.

Flower to the People is one of the best plant and flower shops in town, hands down. Every time I go in, I find something exciting. Even during the pandemic, their selection of plants and pots is exceptional. A special shout out to the owners for special ordering two (!!) monsteras for me so I could choose my fav and then giving me soil to plant it in a pot I bought there. It's huge, healthy, and my fav plant in my house. Cannot recommend this place enough - nothing by good experiences and great plants for great prices!

Calling this place a simple 'Plant Store' would be too reductive. These folks not only sell plants, they help diagnose sick plants and have a wealth of knowledge when it comes to growing tricky ones. They (held) hold workshops on everything from terrarium creation and maintenance, to arrangements and bouquets. They may have taken a hit during quarantine, but will hopefully be able to continue providing for small local weddings. You will never feel more comfortable around greenery than in this environment <3

Excellent customer service and after care! The owners genuinely care about their customers and the plants and flowers they take home. They have helped me pick out some great plants and planters for my home, and have been very patient with my plant care questions. They really went above and beyond when I had a plant with great sentimental value that I had not purchased from their store that was on the brink. I messaged them ON THEIR DAY OFF and they got back to me with advice on how to revive her!

Honestly embarrassed to show my boss who asked me to organize an arrangement for the funeral of one of our executive directors. Very disappointed from start the finish. I had to contact them after paying 150 for an extravagant arrangement on Monday and pick up was for Friday to make sure I got what I wanted. Pictures are what I got vs what I wanted. Sadly I will no longer be supporting this small business.

I have been buying flowers and plants from these gals since shortly after they set up shop. They are true artists that create absolutely stunning bouquets from gorgeous and unexpected flowers. They are also always game to answer plant questions, which is definitely something I need!! I can't recommend these two enough and now I simply refuse to buy flowers anywhere else.

The absolute best flower shop in Ottawa! Was lucky enough to live around the corner for several years. Just today I called from across the country to see if they could quickly put together a bouquet for my sister - not only were they super helpful but put together the most gorgeous arrangement! Super talented, great prices and never disappoints!

This owner was at a bar and yelled at me and my friends for being to loud. We apologized and got a little more quite. They then took a picture of us and and said they were going to contact our employers. Mind you, we are not working and at a bar downtown. Disgusting behaviour.

I stopped in here en route to see a friend in Bruyere hospital. I wasn't fussy. I just asked for a flowering plant, something that could be taken home from the hospital. I was told to go to a supermarket. Flower to the People does not deign to deal in such pedestrian items.
