Worst customer service and i have worked in retail before. I went in to get a shoulder bag that I saw online. They only had one available but it didn't have any tags on it. The server who was assisting me, said that she has to ask her manager for the price and had me waiting at the counter. 5mins later, manager walks past me and puts the bag in the cupboard without telling me anything. i had to ask another teller and she said that if she put it in the cupboard, it means that they cant sell me that. The manager should know that they are suppose to assist but she just gave me a look and walked away. and when i approach the sales girl, she gave me attitude, when she was assisting me originally and had walked away to assist another client. It happened on Wednesday 18/10/2023 at around 4pm. Forever New, please train your managers better. Not happy at all.

Very poor customer service. No staff offered assistance while I was trying heels on even though several of them walked past me. I had to approach a member of staff to ask for the matching heel to try both on, she said it’ll be on display which I had to find myself and when I did it was missing an ankle strap and not in a sellable condition. She said she’d check if there was another one available which there wasn’t but proceeded to give me the heel to try on to see if they could order online but she immediately walked away, no follow up, no confirmation if the heels were available in another store, no apology for the inconvenience. I couldn’t be bothered searching the shop for an assistant again, so left the store without making a purchase. Very disappointing. Staff need training on customer service etiquette.

Bought online and decided to return an item last night to this store around 6pm. I wasn't supposed to return it back but the body suit was too long for my built and it will be just a waste of money. In the counter I was approached rudely by a staff member with her sarcastic loud tone of voice "the tag was cut and we can't accept it, we cannot accept if tag was removed and look, look it's also a bodysuit, we can't, we cannot refund you with this" She didn't even listen to my explaination and she grabbed the store return policy signage and showed it in my face and said, "here we cannot". I was embarrassed after being treated like that, no customer care at all. Not good feeling especially if you are a loyalty member and spents your money to them.

If you enjoy being ignored, please go right ahead. Have been looking forward to go shopping in quite some time, since I'm a health care worker and haven't had much of an opportunity in many months. I walked in with the intention of buying a whole new wardrobe. And wow, did they make me feel insignificant. Not a " hello" no " can I help u find anything" one of the workers looked at me as I was carrying a load of clothing I wanted to try on, didn't even bother to ask if I wanted a change room, just looked at me and walked away. I guess if you're not a size 8, u don't matter to them. Completely disgusting behaviour, will never go there again.

Forever New customer service has completely gone down hill. The people that work here are unprofessional and agressive. I also don’t trust buying anything online because I have received multiple clothes that were dirty and with marks and tears. Customer service team on the 1300 number is also bad as they are extremely condescending and dishonest. I have been buying for 15 years but had enough, no more. Came here for the clothes but no longer a customer because of very bad mean and unprofessional behaviour from multiple stores and Customers service 1300 number. They act like you are lucky to be served by them.

Walked out empty handed because I found it impossible to actually buy anything here which was extremely dissapointing. I intended getting a complete brand new wardrobe as I've lost weight before summer. They followed behind me straightening out each hanger evenly everytime I tried looking at something. They had a changing room limit which was fine, but they put back at least 15 items I hadn't tried on yet due to lack or communication amongst each other. Nobody knew anything, waste of my time. Wasn't going to spend another 45 minutes looking for them again. Went elsewhere entirely.

Went to get a new dress on Monday for sister’s 18th. I was served by an amazing lady, so kind and helpful. Forgot her name, but she had dark hair and beautiful smile. I was so confused with the kind of dress I wanted to get, but she helped me to filter down to few dresses that I liked and finally I got a dress that I know is the perfect choice for the occassion. All thanks to that lady’s wonderful suggestions. Also, for the first time ever, she was someone who could pronounce my name right as it gets butchered every time. Every workplace needs people like her :)

Came into the counter and asked to check for a size and the lady said she was the manager and points to her staff and points at them and said to go there with an aggressive and condescending tone. 5 mins later I was shocked to see her yell across the store to ask her staff to bring a dress for a customer to the changing rooms. I felt bad as all the staff were friendly and busy while the manager just stood there doing nothing and made the customers feel awkward. I can't believe this is a manager who treats people and her staff as if they're beneath her.

Visited on Monday afternoon 2:30PM. I waited at the counter for around 5minutes before one of the staff attended the counter. I needed someone to help with a return but the lady helping me was unprofessional and acted as if she’d do anything not to be there. She didn’t give me accurate information regarding the refund and looked grumpy and annoyed the whole time. I ended up leaving the store feeling terrible because of her poor service. I get that one might not be happy with their current job but maybe not let it show in front of the costumer?

The staff were lovely in the store and very helpful..... BUT - I paid $179 for a new dress (a ‘black & silver gown’) and on the same day I wore it - which was to sing on stage - glitter came off on everything! My arms, hands, the car seat, chairs..... I thought silver thread was woven into the fabric - but it’s mainly silver glittery stuff that’s already rubbed off on the side. There’s a big black patch there now without silver. Paying nearly $200 you’d expect much better quality! Really disappointed. Frankly - a refund would be awesome! ,

I had the best customer service experience with a store member called Ashley. He went above and beyond to get the dress I wanted - they had ran out of my size so he got it transferred from Myer, and personally ran over to get it. He also transferred my online order which I'd incorrectly purchased without any issues. Absolutely amazing customer service as well as such a friendly and competent staff member. Will definitely be going back to the Melbourne Central store.

Like another shopper I went to the store with the intention to replace an entire wardrobe after two years of working from home. I walked into the store, loaded clothes on my arm, was in need of help …. Received nothing! There was NO SERVICE, NO CARE, NO DESIRE to want to sell. Poor poor service. Perhaps all staff need to meet KPI’s and end of month and if they don’t benefits get taken away! Definitely will not be back.

The staff are really friendly but there is a women who’s wearing eyeglasses was really weird as she was telling the other stuff how she is trying her best to pretend that she is smiling! And after we walk out the fitting room she started to comment ! It seems like school days. This is the first time in forever new in Melbourne central that I saw this situation

I have had a very good shopping experience at Forever New because they have a wide range of unique and designer clothes. I spent 2 hours here and I got an amazing collection for upcoming summers. All the crew is very helpful and attend their customer very friendly. Highly appreciate the effort of a lady (from the staff) who helped me a lot in my shopping

Beautiful clothes at reasonably prices. This does clothes more for formal occasions but does have a small casual range too. Also sells coats, bags, belts, jewelry and other accessories. Best place to go to find a dress for special occasions and you don't want to pay a fortune. casual range also nice but there are better. Great discounts very regularly!

Their beautifully stylish clothes are very elegant, their 'cut' is good - in a nutshell their clothes are classy. In addition we can use Afterpay to pay for our goods which makes them affordable instead of dreaming about them. I'm 'addicted' to their clothes, I love to browse around first. Their staff are very congenial, welcoming and helpful too.

Clothes are amazing just the staff need more training on helping customers who are in change rooms and can’t zip up a dress that has a back zip on it or you needed different sizing they werent even present at change rooms! Please bring back Albury store the girls there helped allot more!

Would love to spend some money here - the clothing looks gorgeous, albeit pricey - but the lines for the change rooms were so long that I gave up. The number of changing rooms ought to be proportionate to the size of the store but it looks like Forever New didn't get that memo.
