We asked to be shown soft , easy to drape sarees with antique gold zari work. Lots of classic and elegant sarees, with many antique gold zari work sarees. Many sarees for Sri Lankan tastes, Pure georgettes ,chiffons, dupion silks, soft silks and Kanjeevarams, she probably has more types but we were after a pure georgette or a dupion silk or a soft silk. After being to almost every saree shop in Melbourne and surfing the internet thoroughly, my wife bought a beautiful hand woven pure georgette saree with antique gold zari work, it was classically beautiful and the price was very fair. She also sells Indian wear other than sarees. We highly recommend this seller as she carries a stock of beautiful sarees , she does not apply any sales pressure , provides great customer service, it was a very pleasant experience and we walked away very happy with our purchase.

After covid, buying clothes shifted to online shopping!! I’ve always had issues with my size and quality of clothes while shopping online and end up wasting a lot of money!!! With online shopping, main things are being able to choose what you want and decide wholeheartedly what to buy. Despite being able to buy stuff online, we will always be skeptical and we cant really see the clothes one by one to decide how they actually look, but with Shilpa, it was really fulfilling to do online shopping. She not only had immense patience to show me all her stuff, but she also gave me the freedom to decide what I want without imposing any marketing strategy to push clients and buy stuff in her shop!! She took my details, gave me her insights, showed me all her stuff for more than an hour over a video call and then left it to me to decide what I want to buy. I’m glad I did that online shopping with her!!! She made it a point that I as her customer, am satisfied with whatever I buy from her shop. I googled Indian wear near me and Yash fashion popped up. I met Shilpa when I am looking for a ready-made blouse, and she even provided contact details of a reliable tailor for my bridal saree blouse. Not only that, but I ended up buying my MIL’s saree at her shop. I believe on her recommendations because I actually tried to find a closer tailor, but I ended up with a very dodgy one near Clyde North who messed up my underskirts for my saree and I have to ask him awkwardly to fix it. He seems to be very knowledgeable but does a very sloppy job but charge me $55 to get 2 of my underskirts shorten and tailored to a smaller fit. I asked how much he charge for a blouse, he said starting at $85. The one Shilpa recommends did my bridal saree blouse at $65 and she did an amazing job. Never going there again. Anyway, I am so happy that Shilpa is so close to me. I know where to go whenever I need some high quality Indian wear. She is such a lovely person and you can just feel how passionate she is with what she does. Her price is just up to par with the quality of items she offers.

It's a pleasure to talk to Shilpa, so humble and the saree collections she has is fantastic. I had to buy a gift saree to my friend and Shilpa suggest so many sarees that it was hard to select and ended up buying one saree for my friend and two sarees for myself .
