I don't usually write reviews but I am super happy with this place. I live in a different part of the city and I had originally went to a community auto mechanic in my neighbourhood where I was quoted for some work to the tune of $750-$1000 bucks. This place diagnosed my car with the exact same work order, but charged a bloody 1/3rd the cost of the other place. $250 dollars including taxes. The name is confusing as the storefront is actually called Fusion Auto Workz LTD in person, but I couldn't recommend this place highly enough.

I never really found a true mechanic until I tried Dave Auto from a recommendation from Leon at Castrol. He truly is the best and honest mechanic there is. I used to go to the honda dealer because I never really trusted any other mechanic. I never went back to that dealership again. When I need repairs definitely the place to go. The place maybe trickier to find at first as map would point out that its at an autobody repair shop. But it's behind it. The entrance is at kent ave, not ash st.

Dave is now retired and Fusion Auto Workz has taken ownership of the shop. From my understanding Ryan worked with Dave and is now the main shop man. Everyone there is very friendly, and as far as I can tell, honest. They took the time to clarify several concerns before and after my repairs which goes a long way. The prices are fair and one of the fairest for OEM part replacements and labour in the area. I will be returning for future repairs and will be referring friends and family.

Not too often ones comes across a good and honest mechanic. Well Dave and Alfonzo are two of the best in the GVRD. Honest and Good. Plus they don't over price. Always busy, which is a good sign. Loaners are available when needed. I really should be keeping this review to myself, so as to keep this best kept secret a secret, but I can't help myself - excellent place to have your car fixed. All makes and models (heck, even my Prius gets pampered here).

I'm in Delta and would still go to Dave in Vancouver just to have my car checked. Skilled, knowledgable and honest. Would tell you an estimate of life expectancy of an old part and will not force you to replace it...giving you time to save and prepare for the replacement. Service cost is very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Dave has serviced my cars for over 30 years and has been responsible for keeping them in such good shape that one lasted 19 years and the other is now 12 years and still going strong. His prices are very reasonable and he always shows me the worn or damaged part(s) he replaced. An honest and personable gentleman!

Exactly the kind of mechanic you want to know. Charged us less than he quoted, turn around was same-day, gave us some good recommendations on places to get parts for other repairs. Showed us exactly what was wrong with the car too. Absolute professional.

Dave was my mechanic for more than 10 years, until I moved to another part of Canada for work. He is the most honest, reasonable, reliable, and friendly as anyone could ask for. I doubt I'll be able to find any other mechanic like him out here.

Anthony and his team were fantastic. They took their time to do the diagnostics and advised me as to what should be done and what can wait. I really appreciated their care and transparency. Highly recommend. (Mazda 3, 2016).

Dave exceeded all of my expectations. He was honest, trustworthy, and very reasonably priced. I recently moved to Vancouver, was looking for a mechanic and will definitely be returning to Dave! Highly recommend.
