We had an overall very good experience with GB Liners moving the contents of our house into their storage facility. The man who came to do the quote was efficient, helpful and knowledgeable, He produced the quote quickly and was very responsive to queries. Any communication we had with GB Liners was efficiently and clearly dealt with, and they kept us well-informed about what was going to happen on moving day. The movers arrived exactly when they said they would and worked very hard for 2 days. We were very impressed with how well furniture and pictures were wrapped. Our only concern was they were not as careful of the house as we would have hoped: nothing was put down to protect the wooden floor downstairs which was quite scratched in places, and there were quite a few places where plaster and woodwork were damaged in moving the furniture out. Luckily we had kept back filler, paint, floor oil etc so could repair the issues and leave the house looking good. It is understandable that there will be some knocks, but it would have been better if more care was taken to avoid quite so many. UPDATE: GB Liners have now moved us out of store and into the new house. Despite it being a day of heavy snow, they arrived earlier than expected and worked incredibly hard to get everything unloaded. They were unfailingly polite and helpful, and managed to get everything unloaded well ahead of schedule. A really good experience.

We chose GB Liners on a recommendation from friends who had a good experience and we were not disappointed. From the initial contact until completion they were attentive and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. We had the full packing service and it was superb. The team were excellent and treated our possessions with great care. The cost was highly competitive and great value for money. If we move again we will use them. From first contact to the move itself I cannot fault GB Liners. Leigh came an assessed our possessions and quoted, he then kept in touch weekly as we faced delays due to our conveyancing firm having a data breach. On the day we had X3 removal men who were fantastic, we had packed our own boxes (boxes were dropped off to us) and the removal men did the rest - it was a totally painless experience made so by such lovely people. I highly recommend!

Recommended by work colleague. From the start they were friendly, professional and answered all my questions. Sean and Marcus moved our total contents cheerfully, politely and took great care not to damage anything. They put items in the correct rooms and checked if they were unsure. They were not the cheapest but they were by far the best removal firm I have ever come across.

GB Liners helped us out with a very last minute move. All the members of the team I spoke to were extremely helpful and flexible as we were unable to confirm final details until very late on. The move was done quickly and smoothly with real care being taken of our things and both properties when loading and unloading. I would highly recommend.

Very professional. They handled a move that was not straight forward with ease, moving some of the contents from one house into store and then on to two different locations overseas. They sorted any problems we had with customs. Everything ended up in the right place and in one piece. Would highly recommend them.

We have used GB Liners for a number of moves over the years and cannot recommend them highly enough. All of their staff are friendly, professional and well trained. Moving is a challenging enough process, it's good to work with a removals company that make it easier and GB Liners certainly do that.
