I really don't recommend this library because its staff is very discriminatory and rude, especially a lady with medium-length hair and blue eyes who works on Sundays. She discriminated against me because I'm Asian. On that day, I didn't knowingly sit on the library catalogue computer. There was also an Aussie guy sitting beside me and doing his assignment, but the lady only asked me to leave and didn't tell him to stop his work and use another computer. He stayed there and continued his work while I was kicked out.

Great selection of magazines and a fair collection of books, suprisingly large section on theology. They have wifi but it is quite poor, you are better off signing up and using their computers if you wish to go online, and this is a free of charge service. Also it has a lot of kids activities which is great if your a parent but not so good if you wish to study in quiet during the day.

I'm not sure why other reviewers say this library has good wifi - a 500MB daily cap applies, which is pretty low by modern standards. Plus the library is heavily patronised, even on a weekday - you're unlikely to get much peace or you might not even find an empty desk at times. Staff and facilities are good though - plenty of electrical outlets.

Such a friendly staff and helpful. Good place and clear. Wonderful environment and full service. I applied the member on online and went to the library to proof my identical and get my membership card. They have plenty of books and also provide technology to help their members and staff work easier. I am very impressed.

I have been going to Glebe library for over 15 years now. I love the friendly happy and always helpful ways of the people that work there. I am always welcomed by a smiling face and I feel like they are like friends. the books are great as who can afford to buy new books all the time? Rock on Glebe library :) Julia

Internet connection is fast and there are many plugs for computers. But this library is not for people who wants to work quietly because of many kids ! this is a really nice libary with friendly staff. It is clean with a variety of books and computers, of which some are free to use. The free wifi is great and reaches outside. The grass area outside is also lovely on a sunny day if you are wanting some peace and quiet.

Great local library with a multitude of books. Great for both locals and travellers this place has good computer access once a member and you want to go in there on a hot day just to cool down with greatly powerful air con. Really quirky chairs outside as well.

I needed help with my account and the first staff member was lovely. He sorted me out straight away. Unfortunately, the other staff member was not. She tried to intervene and prevent her colleague from assisting me. Still a great little library despite Karen.

Staff can be abrupt and unhelpful. Wanted to know how to take a book out, the woman just pointed at a machine. Someone took it before I got there. I asked again, she pointed at another, at no point did she lift a finger to show me how to use it.

Was driving there 40 mins bc it was said that it has decent work/study conditions but obviously they don't care about business hours on Google. So if you plan to go there, check Google if they're open you may stand in front of closed doors.

this library is awful, no one respect the people who are trying to study here, the staff make considerable noises, repairing shelves and putting books on them, come on!!!. there is no enough spaces, desk, or anything, very disappointing

I visited Glebe Library, for the first time, this afternoon. The staff were nothing short of amazing - attentive, patient, friendly and so very helpful. Thank you ladies, I couldn't have done what I needed to do without you.

This is an adsolutley lovely library with free wifi which works inside and outside so you can enjoy the sun in the nice courtyard or go inside if the weather is not too good! the computers are also free for members.

Always good to escape into the library. Comfortable and cool in summer, can also use wi-fi. Have been coming here for many years :) and free (old) books out the front. You can sometimes find a treasure. Thanks

very nice place in the center of glebe. they have loads of books and a nice quiet park where you can chill out and use the free wifi. if you dont have a laptop there are computer inside but its a bit expensice

The staff here are friendly and helpful! They have great processes in place for collecting books while NSW has social distancing/hygiene restrictions in place due to Covid. They are very efficient. Thanks!

This is a really good public library is Sydney. You can apply to have a card and borrow some books if you like to. As the others, they also send you a letter when you make a reservation.

With free wifi and good air conditioning this is a great place to cool down on a summers day. The computers are free so it's great for backpackers that don't have much money.

Inside is nice and cozy but cannot understand why they host loud singalongs for toddlers inside a library. Might as well convert the entire place into a playground

It's a good library with free WiFi . A huge collection of books as well. Comfy sofas and extended closing time can add to its ratings.

Went to replace our parking permit, it was such a easy and pleasant experience with Michelle. Easily preferable to doing it online.

It's a really good library. The staff and the environment are really nice. Free wifi and nice chairs in the Front yard.

Has toys for kids, Rhyme Time for toddlers, there's a playground behind it. And the staff are so friendly.
