"I recently visited the library and overall, I found it to be a good facility"
"This place is pretty good to study and/or to work, my only 2 small complaints is that I wish there was privacy throughout the study rooms you get to book or claim for couple of hours on the second floor, I just don't feel comfortable when someone next door is staring into my soul as I'm giving my pals a lecture about a certain subject or even if we are just chilling for small card game session, I wish that there was some form of privacy when in those rooms as well as those rooms aren't properly insulated, Meaning that those rooms tend to get quite loud and is poorly built, If someone walks past or is outside our room, you can hear everyone talking from outside"
"No words can describe how I feel when I enter any library with real books"

I recently visited the library and overall, I found it to be a good facility. The library is well-maintained, with a clean and aesthetically pleasing architecture. The staff members were friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere. However, one noticeable downside was the presence of children throughout the library, even on designated study and quiet floors. Unfortunately, it seems that some kids are not adhering to the library etiquette, as they walk around, speak loudly, and make noise. It's unclear what activities are organized for the kids, but the lack of discipline is evident. Interestingly, the parents seem to be less proactive in ensuring their children follow the library rules. In summary, while the library itself is a nice place, the noise level created by unsupervised kids detracts from the overall experience. It would be beneficial if there were clearer guidelines for children's behavior and increased efforts to enforce quiet spaces, allowing all visitors to fully enjoy the library's resources in a peaceful environment.
This place is pretty good to study and/or to work, my only 2 small complaints is that I wish there was privacy throughout the study rooms you get to book or claim for couple of hours on the second floor, I just don't feel comfortable when someone next door is staring into my soul as I'm giving my pals a lecture about a certain subject or even if we are just chilling for small card game session, I wish that there was some form of privacy when in those rooms as well as those rooms aren't properly insulated, Meaning that those rooms tend to get quite loud and is poorly built, If someone walks past or is outside our room, you can hear everyone talking from outside. You have literally have to be whispering for those rooms to be quiet. I wish there was privacy and as well as properly insulated walls or sound-proofing where as no one outside can hear our conversations or loud talking. So that way, no one outside gets distracted as well as we can continue doing what we need to do.
No words can describe how I feel when I enter any library with real books. Very peaceful and quiet and the librarians are the most polite people you would ever meet. The library has something for every age. I was treated like a gentleman today with very helpful staff. I will be back daily as I missed liverpool library. It's been some time and I have overdue books to return from over a decade ago. They belong in the library. Not at the bottom cabinet. I didn't even read them. Yes I have been naughty. I am returning the great books I borrowed tomorrow. One librarian was very friendly when I mentioned my long overdue books. I thought I was going to get scolded but it was the opposite experience. Thankyou Liverpool Library!
Liverpool Library is a pretty place. It’s got huge space and great variety of books to choose from; even books in different languages for those who are interested; Vietnamese, Arabic etc. I used to come there very often. I don’t recommend going straight after school/work (around 3-5 PM), because there are A LOT of children who make a lot of noises: it becomes very hard for you to concentrate on whatever you need to do. So I stopped going after a few weeks. There are computers for you to use, limited time though. You can borrow books but I’m not sure if you may need a membership card, please ask staff for advice.
I needed to print out 1 page, only 1 page. I thought yeah I’ll be in and out in 5 minutes. I wasn’t a member therefore needed to fill out a paper form, fill out my personal details. Then walk over to the PC, Log Inn, Enter My Details - My New Library Card Number also the Password I needed to provide with the paper application form. Please please please why so hard why so difficult... I only wanted one page to be printed, not join the library and also not to spend my time than I needed during COVID.. People Moral of the Story, Just Go To Office Works..
There is Game room there, some people especially students comes there, and next to the game room there many reading places. I just sat maybe 2 hours, i couldn't To concentrate to my job. Why, there many students, shouting scaring and swearing, maybe i listened that f.. word a hundred time in 2 hours. Why... Can u explain why, why. How can I visit with my children to this library how? What should I say? I couldn't see any staff there who is interfere this bad situation... Your attention. Dear Library staff.
Lovely staff, and friendly service. They provide informational resources, places for leisure reading, and community gathering areas for more than 60 years. They offer a range of free workshops and events each week for kids, adults, seniors, and people from a culturally or linguistically diverse background, as well as a collection of more than 350,000 books, CDs and DVDs, newspapers, magazines, and digital resources that are available for loan or use online.
If there is any place in Liverpool that bucks the status quo sadly placed upon the suburb (due to government and police mismanagement). The suburb had something moved from Cabramatta to Liverpool a decade plus ago and it has never recovered. Atleast here there is normality, education and part of the community getting access to something that is free to access and can make a change. Shame no one else in government understands what education can bring to all.
first time to come and visit the Liverpool City Library. The staff were the kindness people I’ve met. I badly needed to print my documents needed for my test tomorrow and the staff helped me and assisted me even if I don’t live in the area nor have any library card. Thank you for the patience and for helping me out. Your community is so lucky to have dedicated staff members who looks out for anyone at anytime.
Awesome Library! Huge collection of books and CDs. Plenty of tables and areas to study. Premises is very clean! The staff is very friendly and helpful as well. There are various kids activities which go on through the week and has a lift for pram access and a coffee shop with nice coffee. I have been coming here for studying for few months now and this place has never disappointed me.
Library is quite nice. We have lots of place to sit and read books. All the staffs are very kind. I used to borrow lots of books from the library. There is a kids play area too in the library. Surrounding areas are very clean and well maintained. Now they have kept some portrait and paintings and insects for exhibition. All are excellent. Nice place to relax and read some books.
The last time I borrowed a book from a library was back in Year 5, I've never liked the way the books were taken care of. Once I saw this library being built, I decided to give it a go. When I first walked in, I felt comfortable and pleased. Finding books was easy, and they're well looked after. I'm so excited to be a regular at this gorgeous library!
Exemplary service all round from the knowledgeable staff. Any request is met without a hassle, and response turnaround time is exceptional with minimal follow-up, as/when required. For Inter-Library Loan requests, reach out to Sharon. She is fantastic. Does her very best to source your desired book(s) in your preferred language(s)
Whoever came up with the idea of putting a children's play zone inside the main area of a library is an idiot. The useless staff are too inadequate to control the noisy kids. Fair enough it's a play area, but play != scream your head off. Control the screaming kids, confront the inept parents, or get some competent staff on board.
It's an incredible about $600 million project well worth public investment, especially for avid readers and the next generation. If you enjoy quality time in a peaceful environment, it's definitely worth a visit. Additionally, Level 2 offers an amazing space for children with a dedicated area for reading and play.
The architecture of the building is interesting and modern. It has amazing indoor set up and facilities that meet the needs of all age groups of the citizens. More importantly the environment of this library is welcoming and comfortable where you like to spend your quality time.thanks to the Liverpool City council.
Although there are alot of kids here, it is a study library so that is ok. If you really want a quiet place to read, borrow a book and then go to a nearby park and sit under a tree! DO NOT discourage kids from learning! If they want to make noise but it gets thier studies done, WHO CARES? You go for it kids.......
Have been coming here since I was a little kid. The facilities and selection are all superb. When I was young I would visit to fight the other kids for a chance to play on the display ps2 (circa. 2012), but now I come for the study-rooms and endless rizz opportunities. Thank you.
Great library! There is a great reading room/Liverpool Sports Hall of Fame that is great for some quiet studying or frantic typing to meet a deadline! The staff is friendly and helpful even though sometimes it takes a little longer for them to answer questions. :)
Love this place, its a wonderful escape from the noise of liverpool. Always found what I was looking for, if not it was ordered in for me. Noisey kids and people chatting on phones doin ruin the visit. Also the painted over the mural of Bob Marley
Very nice and big, with nice staffs . The problem is that it is too cold. More than 2 hours staying there, you will catch cold . Even in cold and rainy weather , still air conditioner work.I hope they pay attention to temperature.
The old people there dont know how to use computers. My friend and I ask for help and all the old staff cannot understnad in 30minute so I ask Google >_
Massive selection, very neat and clean premises. It takes a minute to join, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Definitely recommended to join if you are in the area and have not already.
Poor experience. Nothing special. Silent room is not the best. Internet is unreasonably slow, struggles to open content heavy pages. Only positive is the availability of seats- which makes sense.
This library hasn't got a very wide range of books, especially young adult fiction books. The kids spaces are great but please, some more space for students and people studying would be great!
Nice place, air conditioner is always on, clean and tidy. Book has plenty of type in many languages. There is a play room in there as well. A cool place for studying or reading or relaxing.

Really love the new design looks great and is very comfortable, staff are extremely helpful, lots of room to walk around and I love the Art Gallery it's excellent!
Great library overall yet some people don't respect being quiet in a library so people can read and study, staff are also not so friendly and helpful at times.
Staff is very helpful and range of great books. Nice and clean library with many places for studying and working without not much noise surroundings.
Wonderful friendly, warm, and knowledgeable staff. So refreshing to have this space... this free space to be and to have for multiple purposes.
I love being in there. It is so spacious, and comfortable. It also has so many areas where you can sit down and read your book or just study.

Really love how much this library has improved. Customer service could be a little better but nothing too bad to complain about.
It's a nice place to read and have some quiet in a busy suburb. It has a huge selection of books and staff are willing to help.
We are so lucky to have libraries with such great facilities. The staff were so nice and helpful. Did everything I needed to.
A cold and empty feeling library. No customer service. No speedy Wifi. No books that I am after. Who is running this library?
Absolutely brilliant facility! Amazed at why people don't utilize the resources provided to them to their full potential
Very spacious, staff have been very helpful and nursery rhymes time was fun Accessible for wheelchair and pram/stroller
