Unfortunate experince but good movers. They didnt take mastercard. They cost as much as my move from Innisfail to Sherwood Park and they didnt even travel far. Price was extremely disappointing for being in town. Hope they figure the company out. Yes, you did move me. I have record on my phone and reciept. Just stating how I feel which Im entitled too and saying it was a horrible price but good guys. So just allowed to share my experience. Not sure how it was a health hazard for you and your guys. If you thought that you would be more than welcome to stop. Thats a pretty horrible excuse. You even were late and took extra time fueling up which one tank of gas should have lasted till the end. Never made you drive far like my other move with a company that actually knows what their doing. Again entitled to my opinion. Very frustrating that it cost more than being moved 2.5 hours away and there were 3 guys compared to the 2 that moved me farther. They didnt even take as long as you guys did and they had more to move. Just goes to show how companies are and how excuses are made. Also how a moving company gets your money by adding people and moving slow. I wont be calling. Ill just be editing my review every time because people read reviews. 3 guys to move me all day is horrible. So much time wasted. Next time say u cant move someone. Stop contacting me. Im not deleting my review and gas off the bill, cheap. Like I said also you could have stopped anytime or not even started. It wasnt hazardous at all. Im quite sick that you are trying to contact me. And again, u guys were 3 and I paid so much less for a move from 2 places in Alberta. So stop trying to make excuses and just fix your company and people can choose who they want.

My family and I had an unforeseen emergency situation and had to move as soon as possible. I called Good Men Moving around 8:00am and by the end of the night my family and I were completely moved, sleeping in our new house the very same day. After calling in the morning and explaining my situation a member of the team, John, was at my house within the hour. He was sympathetic and explained to me this is a common occurrence and something that happens all the time-this alleviated a lot of my stress and gave me the confidence to push through. As it was short notice-I had no packing supplies or boxes. John supplied this for me after our initial consult and I was able to get most of the house packed before he came back in the afternoon and helped me finish. The team was astonishingly fast and thorough and everything was moved into the new place without issue. I was able to communicate with John easily throughout the day and he was always on time and able to problem solve. I also found the services to be very affordable. I would work with Good Men Moving again and recommend them to others, especially if you are in a situation where you need to move quickly.

WOW Google PROFESSIONAL, KIND, FAST and SMART John and his crew knew exactly what to do. We needed a moving company fast and after 3-4 others we couldn’t find one and we were worried we wouldn’t be able to move on time…. Luckily we found Good Men Moving and after 2 min. on the phone, my family and myself were so relived that John and his crew would be here with only 2 days notice❤️❤️❤️.. These men “work” and “think” like soldiers in my honest opinion. Watching them work brings me such a strong feeling of Gratefulness and Ease. I believe this is the first post I’ve ever done on a business. Other than purchases from Amazon, which I recently started. Good Men Moving, came exactly on time, which I appreciate. They were very cheerful and respectful, they cared more about my furnishings than I did. Very professional, my furnishings had to go up to flights of stairs. And the one corner there was very little room they cover the hand railing. With a blanket not to scrape it or damage it or my furniture. They work like troopers, I think they only took out two breaks in a truckload of furniture, going up to the top level two flights of stairs. they took the base off my large kitchen table a heavy animal it is. Also, they got it up and reinstalled the base. I guess I could go on and on on how happy I am with my move. I just hope when it comes to my next move, that they are still available. The fact that I would get them again only tells you that I was very satisfied. Five star group only because there isn’t six. Way to go guys. I really appreciate it. And thanks again.

I needed to move my belongings from a storage unit to my new condo 4 hours away. Good Men gave me a flat rate quote which I feel was reasonable. I met with the mover one week prior to the move date to look at my storage unit so he could be familiar with what needed to be moved. The day before the move I received a call from Good Men saying that they would arrive 1/2 hour later than planned which I was ok with. The next morning, I waited a further 20 minutes beyond the revised time - 50 minutes later than initially planned. Once things got underway loading the truck it was amazing how skilled and hard-working the team was. They packed everything into the truck and it was impressive to see how everything was placed to fit everything in. At the unload, everything was absolutely perfect. I had no complaints with the entire move other than the lateness (that’s why I deducted 1 star) which was overcome because the team was committed to getting the job done to my satisfaction. Great job!

I don't do alot of reviews, actually took me over a year to complete this one! These guys were fantastic, I don't actually have a better word to use... yes they were late arriving at my address but communication was in depth explaining the scenario as it unfolded with a previous move. One of the managers actually ran the truck, he and his partner slayed the load and unload!! Total job took a little longer than originally expected but hey, it was icy and Snowy and they completed it safely not just for them but for my belongings as well. They stood by there quote even with some of the set back we experienced. They were great, maintained communication after the fact!!! NOW prepping for anouther move and long distance to boot, there isn't anouther company ID rather call

Moving is so stressful and placing your trust in strangers to not rip you off and do what they say they will do, is so hard. John removed every bit of worry and doubt I had right from the initial phone call . He was patient with my questions and took extra time to explain that our stuff mattered to them and that they would take good care of it. On the moving day, they worked so hard and efficiently so that i didn't have to pay for any extra time. The move ended up being the calmest one in the 17 we've had. John and his crew were very professional and personable. We didn't have to pay a deposit or make payment until everything was done. It was a big job and we really appreciate the help. Thank you guys. We called this guy late afternoon on a Sunday and he was at our door 45 minutes later with bells on. We were in a tight spot and he rounded up his own family to help us. He had us fully moved out of a 5000 square foot house in under an hour. Please support this man and his business so we can continue to enjoy quality local service. On a side note we were in this tight spot because we were stood up by 2 men and a truck. Please support local so we do not have to put up with these big companies who don’t answer the phone.

Horrible communication. They called while already late to say that they would be late by another hour or so. After 2 hours I tried calling them without answer. They finally called me back after 4 hours to rearrange for the following morning. Their explanation was understandable and they offered me 50% off, so I wasn't upset. However, they never came, didn't call, and proved unreachable. Added a great deal of stress to my move, left me scrambling to find a new moving company short notice, and wasted hours of my time.

Looking for a fantastic set of movers? Look no further! They booked the date and were open and honest the day of moving even though my husband and I did not feel organized at all! They were laid back, personable and extremely hard workers. The value for the work they do is absolutely amazing. They were even super chill with the circumstances as to why we were moving out and the fact that I am 8 months pregnant and can’t do much in regards to moving. Would 100% recommend them to anyone who is considering moving!

John and his team moved a thousand pound, 16 ft long metal planter for us. Trust me when I say this was no small feat!. The Good Men crew were professional, friendly, safe and fairly priced. The crew were extremely mindful not to damage the planter but also our property as they maneuvered it to our backyard. I cannot say enough about Good Men's exceptional customer service. Fantastic to deal with. They had our entire place loaded, moved, and unpacked in under 5 hours. They were very respectful of our things, and took apart/rebuilt our kitchen table and shelving units to take up less space in the truck. The movers were friendly, capable, and crazy hard working. Best money I've ever spent. I'd highly recommend them to anyone. As an added bonus, they were much cheaper than I thought they'd be.

John and Jordy were phenomenal. Not only was I able to book them at the last minute but they were very accommodating about time. They moved quickly (in 30+ heat) and were very careful (nothing was damaged). They were also professional and courteous. Additionally, I felt comfortable and very safe around them. Finally, it should be noted this was not an easy move from a house to a condo. I would definitely recommend them!

Had a great experience. These guys were fast, friendly and a pleasure to work with. We had some ugly (big) furniture to move in some tight areas and these boys got it done without complaint. Yellowhead Tribal Council, two professional movers that were very courteous and informative from Good Men Moving Company. They had a difficult task moving a commercial fridge that was over sized and heavy up three flights of stairs that were narrow and also challenging on each landing. We were so impressed with John and Devin from Good Men Moving; they removed an EXTREMELY heavy item from our house. Was worried the walls would get scuffed or the floors would get scratched, but they were very adept & professional during the entire process. As well, they are extremely personable so it was a pleasure doing business with them!

Managed to help me out not only on short notice, but in good time The crew that helped me with my move were all kind, courteous, and had a great sense of humour and friendly manner. John and his guys did a great job! They were very professional, very pleasant, worked very quickly and efficiently. They also took such good care of our things. We have a 5 bedroom house and they had us moved in 5 hours! That's packing, transport and putting every box I'm the right room! Amazing team! Highly recommended!

These guys were great!! I had a special request to move a vary large and fragile fish tank system and they were able to accommodate. We had an excellent experience with Good Men Moving. They were timely and took extreme care to avoid any damage to our items or home while moving. We had many heavy items, including a piano, that they moved without a single scratch in our hardwood. Very pleasant experience, highly recommend.
