Extremely disappointed in this establishment and the staff running the door. My friends and I came across the Daria event on Eventbrite that this establishment was hosting. The evenbrite page did list presale tickets to basically avoid lining up but did not state any mention of no entrance without ticket. We arrive at 10pm (the advertised start time) and are told at the door that without a ticket we would not be granted entry untill after 12am. When questioning this the woman told us it had been posted on facebook and we would have recieved a notification of the change. Well we didnt find/follow this event on facebook we focused soley in the official eventbrite page, relying on this to be the most accurate source of information. When we informed her of this she basically told us bad luck. That by letting us in someone who had purchased a ticket would miss out. I asked if a person/s who had a ticket left before 12am could we then enter early as clearly the capacity would now allow it and nobody would miss out. Her response was to become quite harsh and state that no, she would not tell is again, there is no way we are getting in before 12. When I pointed out the flaw in her argument she became quite heated and stated that she would not discuss this with us anymore and that we would be welcome after 12am but that for now there is no way she was letting us in. As far as I am concerned the posting of a change on a social media outlet should not overide the advertised details of an official event page and we should not have been penalised for this fault in the advertising process. Staff could have been more accomadating and understanding of their fault.

I'm appalled at the service provided, firstly we waited outside with no consideration or thought to politely inform us they will be opening a few minutes late. We walked in excited and to our surprise we were greeted with attitude the young brunette girl behind the bar hardly looked at us and with out love or compassion poured our drinks like she was forced, she provided dirty cups for the shots in which she didn't replace I actually replaced my own glass. We ordered golden gaytime martinis the girl behind the bar gave us tickets which were not numbered and no instructions given expecting us to know what to do, meanwhile other people were getting their gaytime martinis before us. The bar tenders were just chatting and no smiles to welcome others coming into the venue, the would finish their conversation before serving others. Ive never seen anything like this being in business myself. I'd suggest training be provided and business assistance to enhance customer service and business revenue and profits. Stay away I do not recommend!

Warning warning warning!!! Promoters, do not use this venue!!! They are money hungry thieves. They will shut you down if they feel they are not making enough money at the bar. They do not care about your event at all. We paid in advance for two tickets to see two performers. One that started at 2.30am and the other at 3.30am. They were the two main acts but the venue shut it down at 2am because they thought that not enough drinks were being purchased. The two of us spent well over $100 in drinks everyone else bought drinks also but it was not enough for the money hungry grommits. Their drinks are so overpriced it is ridiculous also, grrrrrrr. Be warmed this venue is a rort and they should be red flagged as scammers. Do not use this place for your events if you care about the people attending your gig they will be ripped off. Yuck this place should not be called 'good things' it should be call 'Scam Thing' Vile...

One of the worst nights I have ever had. I had been a regular guest at Supersmall and I loved it there. But this time, the lady that was at the front was extremely rude. It was my friend's birthday and he messaged Supersmall prior to going to get the drink deals. So we thought that we'd just mention that before going in to get our drink cards but she just went like "I don't care about your birthday". I thought I heard something wrong so I asked her does the FB birthday deal still works, and she repeated the exact same thing and didn't allow us to go in. Eventually we got in and we asked the bartender about the drink cards and luckily he was really helpful and said "yeah sorry about that sometimes she can be like that". I hope that the management is looking into this problem and hopefully she doesn't continue to spoil other people's nights (the group in front of us had an argument with her and left!!)

I don't usually post reviews but I had to because of what happened in last night's event. They stopped the event half way through because people weren't buying enough 13$ drinks at the bar? People paid tickets to see the last 2 headlining artist and weren't able to because of the event being cancelled midway through. Why would anyone buy another ticket for an event hosted by this bar if there is a risk you won't able to see the artist you bought the ticket for? Really short sighted thinking from the owners, in an industry based on human relationships. They panicked and tried to blame the organisers of the event for it. Never coming back here sadly and neither is anyone of my friends. A good way to kill yourself business. Maybe better to pack it in and look for another way to make money. 0.5/5 stars.

One of the best night out I’ve had! So we went out for a few causal drinks, on thing led to another and we ended up at this truely amazing wee bar/club! Honestly the whole night was brilliant, the music was bumping but what really made it stand apart and made it one of my best night outs ever was the bar staff! The lovely Jamie and brook were absolutely fantastic! They were great hosts, I honestly could of asked for a better set of girls! They were full of energy and great to chat to! Even as we left at 7 am in the morning out of my friends dropped a wallet and the bouncer came running and I mean literally running after us to give it back to us! I’m not stranger to a night out in Melbourne and been all over the place but good things really is a truely special place! 10/10 all day and night long!

Went there for a Supersmall club event on a Saturday night. Love how it feels like a house party on the inside and staff are super awesome. If you get too drunk, they will cut you off! If you're causing trouble, they will kick you out! All of these things made it an extremely safe environment...Although the only suggestion I would make to them is get rid of the photo booth and hire a secondary photography. The booth gets occupied by people making out or just hogging it straight up, and what photos we did have taken by the photographer weren't uploaded as they probably didn't make the cut (too dark, blurry, not hot enough lol) Having 2 photographers means you might get more photos to upload to Facebook, increasing web traffic and then increasing patron traffic.

Cool place! Small venue with a great vibe. Downstairs (street level) has one bar, a small dance floor, a few tables with high chairs and a cute back courtyard for smoking with protection from rain if needed. Upstairs has clean, well lit bathrooms and a free photobooth. This place often has fun themes, and you can usually grab a few free drinks by posting on their Facebook events. Doesn't tend to get busy until later - around 12 - and I'd avoid going earlier. No entry fee and well priced drinks.

Paid $25 for a techno event and shortly after they closed 3 hours before the advertised time. They kicked everyone out because they "weren't making enough money." Spoke with one of the promoters and after voicing my complaints he got aggressive with me saying I had no idea what running a business was like. This is absurdly unprofessional and disappointing as I and many others were looking forward to seeing the local talent promised to us. What a joke!

One of my favourite Friday or Saturday night destinations. They have awesome themed nights, and are very liberal with their lists and free drinks. Drinks are cheap anyway, and they have awesome, tasty cocktails (their Butterbeer is awesome - and you get a free glass with it too!) Awesome tunes most the time, and a free photobooth. Overall, really great spot to have a boogie, or a couple of drinks.

Huge shout out to Good Things Bar for being an amazing location to host my 21st. Decked out with sweet neon lighting, lovely bartenders, great flow of drinks and just all round good vibes really made my night special. Thank you Chris for being a great, accomodating host and really going the extra mile to help me out (cheers for getting the candles!). Could not recommend this venue enough 5/5

Incredible venue with amazing staff, but on this particular night the photographer could not have been ruder. I was standing by the bar with my friend and the photographer told us to f**king move out of the way. Apart from that it is an aweomse bar - so long as they find a new resident photographer....

I was lucky to have found this this venue to host my birthday. Chris was amazing throughout the whole process of the planning and the staffs were very lovely and attentive throughout the night. Couldn't have imagined a better venue to host at! Highly recommend for any functions :)

Also know as Supersmall Club! They throw some nice parties there! And some are free entry if you get there early. Really fun and casual. A lot of R&B on the dance floor, good drinks and free photobooth so you can stick your face on their walls. I love it!

These cowboys think that having their staff approach the customers from other bars is cool. We pay for the seating and we aim to retain our customers and have them attend our venue, not theirs…..We don't need to eat each other. Leave our customers alone….

Rude and disrespectful staff members. I could write so much about my bad experiences there but all I'm going to say is the club ask people to rate them 5 stars for a free drink - which in itself says a lot

They will shut down your event halfway through if they aren’t selling enough expensive cocktails. Be warned, buying tix for an event here you might not get to see the headline act.

Tight space but a nice house party atmosphere. The size means that the dancefloor kind of blocks the back room entrance. Friendly staff and reasonably priced drinks.

false advertising on their Facebook event saying that they'll be playing Post Malone songs from 11-12am. Only heard 2 songs. Totally wasted my time going there.

The worst... Bouncer at the door was abusive and allowed a guy to cut infront of the 20min line dispite it being "full capacity". Don't waste your time.

Have visited Supersmall Club a number of times and have really enjoyed my night! The photo booth upstairs is an added bonus and loads of fun!
