They were good until they weren't. I was a loyal client until I had a bad experience with them. I texted the issue to them and never heard back. I booked well in advance for Creative Director to do Full Balayage and Haircut, but half my head was done by an Emerging Stylist (Jackie). Since I had seen Jackie many times before during past appointments, I assumed she had now been trained in balayage technique since the creative director Marcia (who I booked my appointment with) was letting her put foils on the right side and underneath of my hair, while Marcia did the other side. I didn't know Jackie was still in training for balayage technique until she was already working on my hair. She had to pull out and redo foils while actively coached and instructed! Jackie was clearly still learning balayage foils technique AND making mistakes on a paying client. You know it's bad when they start speaking in Portuguese so you don't understand what's being said! I was told by Marcia, "two stylists! We'll get you done faster!" I'm not paying good money to get things done faster or by an inexperienced emerging stylist I didn't book with. In the end, I was still charged the full price of an experienced professional, but didn't get that. I left the appointment feeling really taken advantage of. Reguardless of whether Jackie still works here or not, the fact the owner Marcia oversaw and allowed this to happen is why I haven't been back since August 2022. I texted the issue to them as well and never heard anything back. I might have been okay with someone in training doing my highlights had I 1. booked in for that, 2. been asked prior to touching my hair if I was okay with that 3. the price was readjusted to reflect the experience level of the person working on (half) my hair. I didn't have courage to speak up in the moment because I was honestly in a bit of shock at the experience level and service I paid for vs what I recieved. Jackie was clearly still in basic training. I left my appointment wondering why I was the client used as the training guinea pig? Added insult to the already bad appointment, they tried to sell me a hairdryer after I told them I air dry my hair. Whipped out all the parts/features of the blow dryer and gave a demonstration of how it works. Also was asked if I wanted to buy any hair products at the end. I felt like I was being looked at as $$$$. Getting balayage once a year is the only expensive thing I do with my hair. All this to say, I left with a very bad taste in my mouth regarding how this bussiness is run!

Favorite salon in the world! The artists are very talented and have wonderful personalities to match. The staff as always is extremely welcoming, friendly, helpful, and professional. I have never received a bad haircut or color/hair treatment. I am so amazed and thankful every time!! For cuts - I trust Marcia with my life! That beauty really knows what she is doing when it comes to hair, a truly magician! She is such an amazing person inside and out. It's a great experience with her all around. I always leave the salon feeling so fabulous like I've had the best haircut of my life, she is very good at understanding what I want, even when I can't articulate what I am looking for. In addition, the salon itself is very modern, clean and inviting. Haircult Beauty Lab is definitely a gem!

I only had my hair cut twice here in Australia and both of them were at Haircult Beauty Lab. All the staff is friendly and helpful, and you feel like you're at home. They do everything they can to make your experience the best possible! Elena was my hairstylist, and she had all the patience to talk to me and understand what I was looking for, always showing a lot of knowledge of what she does. Even after the service, they want to make sure you're happy with your hair, and if there's something you don't like, they'll make sure to help you until you get completely satisfied with your new look. I always recommend them to all my friends! PS: The way they shampoo you hair, massaging the scalp is simply amazing, you want to stay there forever haha

After a third hair colour disaster at my old salon, it was time to find a new hairdresser. I'm so glad I found Marcia at Haircult Beauty Lab. I showed her a pic of what I was after and she worked her magic on my damaged hair and delivered a perfect colour (balayage), cut and blowdry. It's the best colour I have EVER had! I'm so happy and can't stop looking at my hair in the mirror! (a big difference from wanting to cry when I got to my car after the last colour at the previous place). Elena took her time to talk about the condition of my hair and ask what sort of look/cut I wanted her to achieve. She provided suggestions throughout the whole visit which would help the condition and look of my hair and how to style my hair between visits. Elena was very patient and thorough, cutting my hair and making sure that it was done properly. She improved the condition of my dry ends with just one treatment and didn't do a hard sell of their products available. She made me feel very comfortable and created a positive, friendly vibe which was also appreciated.

I had a really good experience from the moment I walked in the door. The owner and employees are super friendly and very accommodating. They used really good products for my hair wash and styling because my scalp was feeling fresh and my hair was not dry. I came to get my hair done for a post wedding photoshoot and my hair did not frizz up at all and stayed perfect (even when it was slightly windy). My hair has stayed perfect for numerous days now and im very happy with how everything turned out. Definitely returning again to seek our treatments.

Since then, she's the only one who touches my hair. We've done restoration, cuts, and I'll attach photos of the highlights she did on my hair. Simply impeccable!
