I haven't been to a library in ages, but I wanted to scan some documents and it would have cost an arm and a leg at the stapler store but I could do it here for free! Heck ya! That's a deal! Just need a library card and a positive cash balance on your card (25 cents) and then scan for free. Bring your own USB or they will loan one to you for a small fee so that you can use one of their computers (also free) to move the items from their USB into your email and email it to yourself. While I was there I glanced around and was impressed with all the magazines and interesting books that they have. I love buying books, but I think I will start using the library for fiction novels again or anything that I won't be reading twice or lending to friends. It's free yo!

I've lived in this area all my life and have essentially grown up in Terryberry library. They have so many great programs and fun activities for everyone! However, what prompted me to write this review was my observation this afternoon while I was studying on the main floor. I overheard many of the exchanges the staff had with members of the community and was BEYOND impressed! Each staff member was courteous, knowledgeable, friendly, and enthusiastically willing to assist everyone who approached the desk. It was the greatest thing to see. Keep it up, Terryberry staff! :)

This is our local library and we find the staff always cheery, helpful and kind. The selection of items on the shelves is adequate for the size of the facility. Large 2nd floor has lots of private rooms and tables to work at. Basement has several large community rooms with amenities. Parking can be tight at times as the lot is small and one-way; there is parking kitty-corner to the library at the church on the opposite side of Mohawk at Immanuel Christian Reformed.

I was very disappointed to see that the staff at both the Rymal Road location and the one on York Boulevard did not address the people talking loud on their phones and to each other and the school kids to let them know that they should be using their inside voice when they are in there. I visit there after 2:30 PM. It was the opposite atmosphere in the morning when mostly adults were in there.

The stuff are very friendly. The books variety is different that other libraries at the region. They have shared study rooms that regularly are quiet enough. I spend my time here meeting people and doing my projects. This is one of the best locations in Hamilton where you can stay calm and study. The parking slots sometimes are full; however, you still can park at the church's parking.

The Hamilton Public Library - Terryberry Branch is very close to Mohawk College; thus is very easy for students to access. They offer public systems you can use if you decide to not use your laptop. The staff are very approachable and helpful. They also have free parking, free wifi, and $1 a day for printing too.

This library is great. It's biggest problem is it's crowded... but that's because it's so popular. One good feature: You can stay till midnight (Monday to Thursday) if you bring a library card plus id. It's greatest weakness: The staff is too nice and needs to kick more @ss.

I have come here now on day 2. It's a library, it's suppose to be quiet and staff should have a little more respect for the guests here and try to keep their voices down. I have headphones on with the volume high enough and can still hear staff and kids speak g loudly.

I absolutely love this library! Don't be fooled by the small size, they have a huge range of books and are always so welcoming and helpful. They're great with organizing holds and keep a diverse inventory of books on every subject. Clean, welcoming and inviting!

I live in Guelph, but had to go Mohawk College with my son for an exam. I spent an hour or so in the library nearby and was completely blown away by the welcome the ladies there gave me. It's so refreshing to meet people who aren't just there as a job..

Today there was a guy in the library that was swearing and being disruptive. I thought one of the workers might have done something to deter the behavior but nothing was said or done. If it weren't for him I would have liked my visit to the library.

This is very nice library. The interior is nicely organized and they have a small children's section. They have some computers only dedicated to smaller children. The staff is polite and always ready to help.

multiple parking lot. Nice library staffs. A remarkable number of seats at floor two. Most importantly, this location closes by my living place, I will come by from time to time from today.

Very helpful staff. Decent sized library. Very busy in late afternoon. Hard to find a parking spot. There isn't much private study area. Though, still a nice place with a good environment.

This is a nice, clean library. I have attended a couple of workshops here. There is a wheelchair accessible entrance here, but the elevator has been out of commission for quite some time.

My very first library when i arrive in canada in 2005, spend the whole day there and has a lot of great books to read. Very nice location and looks very quiet so you can read in peace...

Very nice to focus and study or do your work. Laptops from outside are allowed or one can use computers in the library. Also they allow 10 prints everyday free of charge.

There is free parking and free wifi. This is a great place to come for studying if you need less distractions and if you reside around Hamilton mountain area

Came for the drag story time, stayed for the making fun of shallow-end-of-the-gene-pool unwashed Christiofascists. 10/10 all around. Would do again.

We recently moved into this area of the City. The branch is large. With covid the experience is different. Nice friendly staff and lots of parking.

Modern, clean, and free on site parking. Decent internet performance (5Mbps down/5Mbps up). Facilities here put most Toronto libraries to shame!

Great place to find all the books you will ever need. Though, they don't have some books or online books that Toronto library carries.

The on hold items are relocated to the entrance, making checkout much easier. The staff is much more attentive and efficient today.
