"We moved to the area around 7 months ago from Kesyborough, not bad area"
"This shopping centre is starting to get run down these day, some renovations wouldn't hurt, it would also freshen the this place too! They have recently opened a new McDonald's there but that's about the only new shop there, perhaps making this shopping centre a food hub would be a good idea, it would probably bring more people here and become a central hub for the community once again, rather than just a run down shopping centre"
"It's got everything you need in one small shopping area"
"Has all the basic necessities"
"The variety of shops is nice, but what's with the rundown plaza? They closed the old coles/bi-lo plaza, and just left it to rot"
We moved to the area around 7 months ago from Kesyborough, not bad area. As l lived ethere before where we had a normal shopping centre with a Coles and Woolies, l was so disappointed not to find a Coles and have to go to nearby suburbs just to go to Coles. On the plus side, it has 3 great butcher shops, l mainly shop at the one next to the pharmacy where there is a vegie section, best mince meat and pork! All 3 butcher shops have very good meat, yhe ine in the shopping centrw, bbq sausages delicious and their beef, l dont go elsewhere anymore and pricing is good as well. Uncle Bucks discount shop, huge and good, it also has a seafood shop which is ok and friendly and great hairdressers, Red Rooster only out of all fast food shops, you have to drive to next suburbs to get McDonalds, KFC, Hungry Jacks etc..... , Mimos Pizza, delicious, recently ordered twice, best l have eaten, does have some good take away, Mindawi, international store with very good butcher inside, best lamb you can have and many more., l do shop at all 3 butchers You can find all sorts of little shops, bakery etc but parking areas need revamping, also the empty space where apparently there was a Coles there...revamp it, what is the council doing here? Revamp Hampton Park! A Coles, KFC, McDonalds, Charcoal Chicken, a nice upgraded Mall with some these and little shops would upgrade the area, not a rundown one, as l heard was there before. Dont let the area downgrade, start revamping. Parkmore, Endeavour Hills, Casey Central, all small Shopping Centres but have upgraded their area and always revamping. Council should act on this and revamp the area. I dont get who people vote in the area as by the looks of it, the actual council there downgrades the area and is inactive! Its actually lovely where l live and also quiet, hearing rumours about the area, not again, l actually love it here but would like to see the area improve ! Give this area a chance and clean it up a bit, whoever owns the empty space where old shopping mall was, build a new one with upgraded Supermarket, Coles, bring back Coles and food stores. Check out small Shopping Centres and act upon it! dont leave it for waste or stupid apartments that will block the area! Such a shame, l have seen bad reputable areas, especially close to Keysborough, Hampton Park is not that bad at all as the other areas but are kept upgraded and clean. MPs there are great, MP at Hampton Park, act upon this and upgrade your area, l always pass by the office and most of the time it is closed! Even the nbn needs upgrading! Such a shame, new people are constantly moving here and the area has quietened, dont let the bad reputation kill this beautiful area, do something!
This shopping centre is starting to get run down these day, some renovations wouldn't hurt, it would also freshen the this place too! They have recently opened a new McDonald's there but that's about the only new shop there, perhaps making this shopping centre a food hub would be a good idea, it would probably bring more people here and become a central hub for the community once again, rather than just a run down shopping centre. However in saying what I said overall the place is not too bad, I still go here from time to time, especially at the Cambodian restaurant, they have great food there, highly recommended! Also maybe add some office place so that there would be more traffic come through, maybe that would work for this area, with the new era of "work from home" this might just work, make it a place where it would be a " work near home".
It's got everything you need in one small shopping area. Plus there is Safeway so you can do a supermarket run after you have had your nails and hair done and had lunch at your favorite Vietnamese local cafè. They also do take away and they do the Viennese pork rolls yummy yummy. There is also an excellent Cambodian restaurant there who do fantastic authentic dishes. You have also got red rooster and i think it is dominos as well. I give Hampton park shops a 5/5.
Has all the basic necessities. Bit dingy. Car park is a mess. Actually whole layout is a mess. Your first time here you will wonder what monkey designed this place. But give it a few trips it will grow on you. Highly catered towards the ethnic and international community. Definetly a bonus if you like Middle Eastern food. Australia Post is here but there is always a que of at least 6-7 people minimum. Avoid like the plague.
The variety of shops is nice, but what's with the rundown plaza? They closed the old coles/bi-lo plaza, and just left it to rot. It's completely abandoned and closed off, which is a real eyesore. If you don't care about the appearance, it has the main things you need (supermarket, hairdressers, fruit+veg, bakery, takeaway...), plus a few extra random stores. If you need anything else though, I'd recommend fountain gate.
Self contained. But compared with Melbourne's lifestyle-- restaurants, cafes and retail shops-- it's no where close to a posh locality. Yet, you get a taste of a typical small suburb. Nevertheless, the second biggest shopping mall of Australia is only 10 minutes drive. Very quiet neighbourhood of mixed ethnic groups. Cheers to the tiny cosmopolitan city of Hampton Park. Won't regret this place to call your home:)
I had a fantastic experience at Hampton Park Shopping Centre. The variety of stores and services offered here is impressive, and the layout is easy to navigate. The staff were friendly and helpful, making my shopping trip enjoyable. Whether you're looking for clothing, electronics, or a great dining experience, this place has it all. I highly recommend Hampton Park Shopping Centre for a great day out!
Terrible place and road services, not safe at all. Traffic and Pedestrians go on the same track. Extremely dangerous for kids and Pedestrians. Roads are broken and very messy. There's rubbish every where. No security, things get stolen. Shops are located in terrible location. City of Casey needs to put attention on this area on cleanliness, safety and infrastructure ( specifically roads)
Wouldn't be so bad if the council took some initiative and cleaned up and resurfaced entire car park and put in new upgraded shops where Coles used to be. Current exterior and car park is despicable littered and graffiti and pot holes galore. Friendly staff and businesses in other section where woolys is. Sugar Buns a fantastic local business making headlines constantly
As always, I found the store and staff are fantastic. The disabled parking is now so bad that I take a chance getting from the car to the shops and the way back. Alot more disabled parking spaces are required. Sadly unless you or someone you know who is disabled it may not have an impact, but believe me I take my life in other drivers hands which is extremely dangerous.
Good service. Particularly Woolworths where I had a experience when I collapsed at the checkout. The staff were amazingly helpful and supportive. I can't thank the Woolworths staff enough for their compassion on that day. I hope you are able to pass on my gratitude to the Woolworths staff on this forum as I'm extremely appreciative of my treatment by your amazing staff
Nice shopping Centre, Plaza has Woolworths, Male and Female hair salon, Asian restaurants, Butchers, Loto for the gamblers, BWS beer wines and Spirits for the drinkers, Cafe for the coffee drinkers, fruit market near by, bank machines and Post office. Good atmosphere, security guard at Woolworths always greats you 'Good day'. What more do you need ?
It's easy to get in and out quickly. I never have trouble parking and I love that we still have a butcher next to Woolworths & an Australia Post Post Office opposite Woolworths. Plus there's a huge Uncle Bucks and a grouse clothing store called "Land of Choice". The owner is so nice and friendly and the clothes are really nice.
With high costs in many established Asian shopping centres like Springvale, Boxhill and Glen Waverley, here is a medium prices area to shop & have a meal. Multi racial yet exciting place to spend your weekend. Meats, vegetables and fruits are fresh because of high turnovers. Enjoy being there.....
Could be kept cleaner, parking/driving in the carpark is a pain in the ass, toilets near Anz Bank are your better option, shopping center in the Woolworths block is somewhat nicer to shop at since the renovations, building where Coles used to be is a disgrace & needs to be cleaned up.
Though this is an old shopping centre, it certainly is a good blend of shops. Everyone is friendly. And its like a maze of shops inside and outside of the centre. If you can overlook the the potholes in the car park, the dirt and dust it is quite a gem of shops.
This may possibly be the worst carpark I have ever driven in during my long and storied driving history. The shops are about what you'd expect from a small suburban centre built around a Woolworths. It's also right next to a pub, so expect that sort of clientele
We are blessed to have Fr Michael Payyapilly as our parish priest...his guidance in our spiritual journey is something I have no words to express. For a heart that is open every word that he preaches takes you a step closer to God. Truly an instrument of God.
I live here and the shopping centre is a dogs breakfast for parking. Should be completely leveled and start afresh. Potholes everywhere not enough exterior lighting. People driving too fast through the car park. For Gods sake fix it up once and for all!!
Hampton Park shopping centre is well presented with all the shops you need. It has also lovely Caffè/takeaways and restaurants. It's easy to oversee and you don't get sore leg's walking around, like some huge shopping centres. Definitely recommend it.
Great little shopping centre! This shopping centre has all the stores I need for an everyday use. Plus, they have a toilet! The place is clean and easily accessible for anyone in a wheelchair. I tell everyone I know to come here as it's just great.
Nice shopping centre! Most necessities can be found here, along with a range of cuisines. My only complaint is that there’s so much trash in the parking lot. Bins have been set up, but I guess the people who dump the rubbish haven’t realised.
For the most part everything is as you would expect. The ANZ ATM located on the front of the centre is very conspicuous, as I walked the full length of the front to find out that they are located inside the branch doors at the beginning. I
A bit of a ghetto. But woolworths is good, great specialty shops. Footpaths are awful or nonexistent. And there are no trolley bays so you have to either abandon your trolley or walk all the way back to the supermarket. Not great for mums
Lovely little set of shops including really good cafes, cake shops, fruit and veg shop, meat shops, $2 shops, chemist and a Safeway. Public toilets on site. Plently of parking available though can be hard during busy hoirs to find a spot.
Run down and old shopping centre with one of the worst pothole filled car parks in Melbourne. The shops are weirdly set up with a couple of stores next to Woolworths then an attempt was made at a shopping strip with a hub outside but it
Hampton Park is pretty laid back place Woolworths workers are the best team around great hairdressing saloons bakery family owned. Sushi bar awsomE and a touch of donut king. Pizza shops and more small community punching out what we can
Very disappointing. I was using the disability/baby change area toilet with bub, 5 year old and a pram. And someone is trying to open the door with a set of keys. No privacy or respect. I couldn't even find a management team to talk to.
Shopping centre management fail to manage many things. The rubbish is all over the place. There are pot holes everywhere in the car park making driving dangerous. Many empty shops in both precincts of the centre. Coles supermarket has
This is a small shopping centre. Has a great butcher out side of Safeway that has affordable meat that tastes great. Also a fresh fish shop, tattslotto, sugar buns and Vietnamese restaurant. Biggest down fall is only 1 toilet facility.
So busy, so much potential but this shopping centre is so dated. It really needs a makeover. It's my local shopping centre and I know it very well. The shopkeepers are all really nice, doing their best with the dated surroundings.
Poor Hampton Park Shopping centre...there is so much potential but no one cares (appearance and maintenance) but the local shops are wonderful. Great places for eating, gift shop, grocery shops fresh produce and meats...8/10
Seems to be going down hill shelves are barely stocked yet they always have staff out blocking lanes. Staff are either over worked or just getting grumpier LoL. Parking is terrible so it's Park at your own risk.
The shops are good. However, the roads around these shops are completely unsafe and need to be maintained properly. This area has so much potential. It would be great if it could be fixed up and modernised.
Very handy everything you need specially food is at HP Shopping "Centre even from hair to toe bling is all in one. Car parks you never sweat lookin for..is heaps of parking. I love this Shopping centre
Found this shopping centre to be quite helpful it has Woolworth fish n chips , kebabs shop ,bakery, florist & hairdresser. And many more shops salves cheesecake shop etc. I would go again.
I love Hampton Parks old fashioned look and feel. Lot's of ethnic shops and cafes to eat at, old fashioned butchers, and fruit and veg shops. Its an acquired taste, but it grows on you.
The worst Woolies in the state, bar none. The staff are on life support, the place feels grimy and never enough registers open, ever! Even Coles had the sense to leave the area.
Woolworths is here. Beautiful Italian restaurant with great flavours. Sugar buns for nice way to catch up with friends n family for brunch. And local butchers. All in one place.
Easy to move around flat surface one floor only ..safeway Chinese . bubble tea..post office ..tattslotto..new food shop coffee takeaway or eat at the chairs and tables about 4
Nice and small. Compared to the hustle and rustle of the cities jungle but still has cute food stores you can eat in.library and youth centre close by as is the child care.
As a new relatively new customer I really like this shopping centre. It's not a Westfield behemoth. The shopkeepers are friendly. Great food shops. It's my "go-to" place.
It’s average shopping Center, it’s got auspost, vegetables market and good meat and kebabs shops around, it’s mix of cultural food in area, few restaurants around too.
I visit this shopping center atleast once a month. Keep in mind you need to maintain a safe distance and wear a mask as I've noticed hygiene is not the best here.
I love the meat shop near the Woolies. I also love sugar Buns. Unfortunately they have many shops that look very grotty and bring the place down.
Aside from usual Woolworth grocery, the area also has a number of Asian groceries and independent fishmonger and butcher shop plus food places.
The actual shops are fine here but I'm giving 2 stars because the carpark is just so horrible. Poor quality, faded lines and huge potholes.
Layout is very slap-dash. Beware of the drivers. Awesome Ethnic based markets. Halal everywhere. Mangoes the size of a baby's head.
Disorganised shopping centre with shops here and there been added on...car park needs attention too...stop here as a last resort!
Small local businesses you can find majority of needs there. Needs something done down there for parking can get hectic there.
Old but convenient Park at own risk Awesome butcher, couple of nice cafes, really good Italian restaurant. Updated woolworths
Come here because of an Asian grocery & sugar buns. Car park is awful with huge pot holes, centre is very dated and worn down
Loved our visit! Quick service, friendly staff, amazing food presentation and taste! Loved our time here. We'll be back.
Parking and car park are terrible- spots are small, driveways are super tight, roadways are bumpy and full of pot holes
It's a good shopping centre because you can get all your daily & essential products. Today it was only banking.....
As most people would agree, shops are good ..car park is terrible. Not inducive for attracting new customers …
Awesome market. Afghani Stores and Asian Groceries Big stores are there with Great Variety of Food items. Loved it
It's as good as any other shopping centre except it's smaller n u don't have to walk as far from shop 2 shop...
The local shopping centre, with a decent amount of stores catering for the multicultural community here.
One of our favourite place around here in hampton. Nice restaurants around which gets our taste …
Not a bad little shopping centre will be good once they finish the demolishing and rebuilding..
For the management...please dont unlock ur public toilets while the woolies and bws still open.
All toilets closed at 6.00 on a late shopping night. Not family or senior friendly
Great suburb for shopping those little things that you need for home
Close to home. Always a nice drive there and nice drive home …
Everyone is so friendly a lot of places to get great food and idk
Appears to have a great range of shops and ample parking.
Good place 2catch up with friends 4lunch.... …
Shoping center is small but for grocerries its good
Good place to get groceries, fruits, and many more
Always a pleasure now to get a huge fruit market
Carports are very awkward and not big ebough
A bit crowded, parking could be difficult
Always great service and products
Very busy little shopping centre
The car park needs a lot of work
Dirty place but nice people
great place for food
It's just shops
