Just moved to the area and was looking up local bars to see which ones are better in atmosphere, customer service, pool tables, ETC. I use several searching options, one of them even snapchat. Yesterday was checking on Snapchat and saw a brown gentleman in a video sitting on the ground outside by a pool table getting beat up (that's what it looked like) by maybe two other males. I work the food and beverage business with bars, and I wouldn't tolerate that behavior by customers, especially it NOT being De-escalated by management or security. I get it, everyone messes up and gets in a bit too much drinks, everyone isn't going to get along, but geez that video was pathetic. ...needless to say, we will be looking at other bars to try out. Lol.

I haven't been here since Jeanette left. I doubt I'll be back as they've never had a decent bartender except her. The girl here now is more concerned with flirting with customers than tending the bar. If you aren't a regular, she'll ignore you, and give you attitude when you ask for another drink or food. Speaking of drink, my old fashioned tasted like old fashioned syrup. The cook was on top of his job tho, but the food is mediocre. I thought I'd be fair and give them another chance tonight, but I won't be back. Too bad, coz this spot has potential - they just like to hire trash bartenders.

Came here for breakfast and couldn't believe how good the french toast and bacon were. Arguably the best french toast I have ever had. Return and get the daily special, patty melt. Sincerely the best I have had. Drinks are well made and the atmosphere is perfect. Everyone is in a good mood and the sense of community is outstanding. Lots of games and space. If you only need one reason to come, then make it the food. Everything else is a bonus. You may be saying, "how could the food be that good." It is. This will be in our regular rotation. If you need a place to feel welcome and not judged, go to Hideaway Lounge.

I used to come here with my best friend every now and then in which I always enjoyed it from the drinks to the dance floor in an atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable in! Bartenders are always nice and if your looking for a relaxed bar with a good atmosphere to relax. I would recommend checking this place out!

This place has become quite a renown jewel in this neighborhood and will definitely be in the history books as one of the few bars in Phoenix that isn't totally booshy. It's the Phoenician take on the cheers bar; when you walk in somebody (if not everybody) will know your name and you will instantly feel welcomed. The staff and patrons are friendly (in a city where everyone seems to have a stick up his or her ass) and the food is phenomenal. Prices for drinks and food are more than reasonable and for these reasons I would give this place 10 stars, but Google only allows five so that'll do.

Stopped in after midnight with a friend for a late grease ball bar food meal, you know what I'm talking about, huh?!? Hell yeah! Wings so first you'll have gut rot for the next two days and nachos with 6 different cheeses, (all 6 from a can, but hey! That's alright!) And beer flat enough to do your ironing on, BUT WHAT A BLAST!!! Great atmosphere, the bartender was friendly and attentive, a little sluggish on the turnkey, but all in all did a good job. I will definitely go there again and I highly recommend this place for a "helluva good time in a hole in the wall"! LoL! Loved it!

Went there for my nephew's 21st Birthday....it was a blast drank a few ice cold beers ate some DELICIOUS french fries...and played a bunch of rounds of darts....the bartender made sure we were well taken care of (Big THANK YOU) and the juke box was playing great random mix of music that kept everyone happy....the back patio was a special surprise for the smokers with a portable swamp cooler to help bare the heat....Hideaway Lounge was a very nice bar to help celebrate my nephew's 21st Birthday....Happy Birthday Charles....

Well let me start off by saying this we only stayed 10 minutes sat at the bar at first everything was ok we ordered a pitcher of budlight filled two glasses once we had a drink right away we looked at one another and said it's flat. Then a wierd smell started to arise from behind or around the bar of throwup we moved to a table away from the bar but decided to leave it wasn't even worth finishing the pitcher of beer first and last time i will be going to this place needs alot of work done the vibe was depressing.

I read like it better if they didn't let people frequent the place who have hurt or threaten to hurt their employees. They also have a couple of regulars that are constantly insulting other regulars and they never do anything about it. The staff is always very pleasant to us and always happy to go above and beyond. Their kitchen staff is getting better every day common they have hired some pretty good cooks and we are very happy about that. Jeremy always does this gets in gravy on Sunday morning and I love it.

This is a classic, popular dive-bar- cheap drinks and food, fun bartenders, and a mix of regular and random customers. Highly recommend this place if you just want to chill-out and not spend a lot, or if you're looking for friendly conversation at the bar or smoking patio. Mostly an older crowd, but not completely, and it may look a little rough but I feel anyone would be welcome. The smoking patio is large, they do little events inside, and I hear they have a cheap breakfast deal M-F.

It’s a nice place if you like dimly lit environments with tasty foods and snacks from a kitchen accompanied by competent staff. I like all of those things. It’s got a large rear patio to have drinks in the sun or shade. Smoke em if you got them because the back patio is also large enough to handle smokers and non without bothering one another. Personally I hate being bothered by non-smokers in an appropriate smoking space. Last it’s got lots of interesting characters coming and going.

Stopped in for a drink and food. They said the milk was "spoiled" so I couldn't get a White Russian. Ordered nachos and when the cook was putting the sour cream on he used his finger. The bartender was wearing pajamas and the DJ was falling asleep. When we were leaving there was a girl out front who offered to show us her breasts for $5.00. Needless to say, we will not become regulars at this establishment.

I used to hang at this place about a decade ago when it was Pat Murphy's & knew the owner. Aces Cracked Poker League was very popular; b4 that I was on a men's 301 cricket league. Anyway, last night was totally bitchin! The bar is clean, has munchies, cute bartenders, several gaming options, outside smoking w/pool table -- Plus a great crowd! It was a hotspot THEN, and it's still rolling now. So, have yourself a great time and get your butt down there.

Stopped in for a quick drink, but stayed for much longer as the Bartender Dani was so awesome and fun. Had a bite to eat and the food was excellent too. Even though the cook was a Cowboys fan (lol) we had a great time talking about sports and everything else. Dani definitely knows her music as all the songs we played on the jukebox she knew and then some. I had the best time there. Dani thank you for everything - your awesome, simply awesome.

The Hideaway is an unassuming yet friendly place. Ownership is constantly improving the inside and spacious patio. The food is way better than typical "bar food", it is a great place to play pool, throw darts, meet people or enjoy a drink anonymously. Higjlighted with an updated Golden Tee Golf machine connected for tournament play. You should stop in, enjoy the food and watch your team on the multiple big screen s.

Going to this place after 2 pm. is just asking for bad service. I have, on several occasions, come in and sat at the bar for 15 minutes or so without even seeing the bartender. The morning shifters have been great, though, and the food is pretty good, actually. The place has so much potential, but obviously, ownership doesn't care.

Can't believe how many good reviews. Definitely tricked me into coming, this is a bar with bar food not a restaurant nor a sports bar I want to make that clear. Just because you have a TV doesn't make you a sports bar and because they have bar food it didn't mean their a restaurant. That being said very nasty dirty building with the pardons to match it definitely not somewhere I'd go again.

Love this place. Amazing bar food. Service compromised at times though by unfortunate turnover and recent changes in ownership and management. Staff almost always professional and friendly, yet assertive when needed, all of which is impressive in a neighborhood kinda bar with the full gamut of customers from all ages, cultural background, economic background and personality quirks.

There's usually no problems here, Cammie, Karlee and Alyssa are the great bartenders. I've been coming here for 12 years. I love the vibe, karaoke on weekends. Sometimes they have bands. Pretty chill and laid back. Great for single ladies. No pressure. It'll always be my go to hang out.

Perfect dive bar! This place is a gem. I've been around the globe and this is top level. Drinks were great, bartenders excellent, food is delicious, and clientele was fun. We had a great time and will be back. Come here and get calibrated on a "great dive bar"! "A" Team Returned on a Wednesday. Had a cool time with bartender Dani. Crazy place. Perfect!

There was a shooting right outside the door when we were there and they had to put the place on lockdown. Just stopped in before a show at celebrity because it was close. staff handled well but I won’t be going back. Chicken tenders were the saltiest thing I’ve ever ate.. not sure how that happened

Nice neighborhood bar offering hot food cold beer and stiff drinks. A place you can play pool , bartop games or sit on the patio with your beverage and a smoke while chatting with friends. Service is great and not too pricey. Serving breakfast lunch and dinner from the menu. Offers karioki if your into that sort of thing. All in all a good experience.

Everytime I've gone in , I'll literally wait 10 plus minutes because the black that's the bartender sees me and totally ignores me and goes to other people chats with them, it's not until the other girl comes from takingbdrinks to the people outside come that I'll get served it's Ridiculous. I've never even had an interaction with her to not l ile me.

Cool bar. The owner is cool too. Janet was awesome bartender but shes not there anymore. They have 2 other women and no where as friendly as Janet was. Hopefully Diana can replace them 2 or else I won't be back. I should give it 3 stars because they were not real friendly. But Diana has done a good job with the place. So she gets 4 stars

A really great little hole-in-the-wall awesome food I'm just a comfortable atmosphere everyone is nice and sociable ask for Tammy the bartender she makes a mean drink and ask Nick to make you a mean plate of nachos and jalapeno poppers they are yummy and I'm not kidding that includes her really hot and spicy buffalo wings yum yum yum

Very impressed to find such dedication to detail from Patrick the cook, in essentially a dive bar that also serves food. Never disappointed, cheap drinks, friendly local crowd. Great job Patrick!

You got a love a dive bar like this. We went right at shift change and I don't mean the staff. The day drinkers were lit and rowdy and the night folks were just shuffling in. The weed smell overpowered the spilled beer smell sometimes, but that's okay because I like both. This is truly a great place.

The friendliest dive bar I've been in. My boyfriend and I had a great time here with his Uncle and my cousin. I love that the place was filled with friendly people. Very accommodating staff and DJ and most people appreciated my voice when I sang songs ♥️ would definitely go back here in the future

This was a nice bar, good food but they changed afternoon cooks. Breakfast food is very good, cooked to perfection. Afternoon food not that good, over done, fried too much and very hard. Bartenders friendly and quick to refill. I'll look for another place because of the poor food in the afternoon.

The food here was a huge disappointment I asked for a rare hamburger and I received a hockey puck. The fried mushrooms were inedible. We did not try any of the drinks so I can't comment on that. The staff was nice but if you're looking for a dive bar with good food try somewhere else.

Today I had the Montecristo breakfast sandwich. It's ham, turkey, Swiss & cheddar cheese between two slices of French toast. I can't make out the spice used to make the French toast but it's what makes it unique and completely heavenly. Huge portion. I had to split it into two meals.

Right down the street. Great burgers, great tacos, really friendly staff, always an interesting cast of characters. Cool little spot out back. Some dicey characyers by the bus stop, im sometimes one if them! Its a cool place worth checking out, play some darts, grab a burger.

The only reason I give this place 3 stars is because the bar and atmosphere is awesome...great place to watch sports and relax but the staff there was rude and unfriendly... unless you're a regular maybe they are ok idk.I can't stand poor customer service and poor attitudes.

Let's be honest, this is a dive in a bad neighborhood. That said, the staff and patrons have always treated me right. Decent food, cheap drinks. I have been worried about parking my nicer car here, but never had any trouble. I wouldn't park it overnight though. Good spot.

I've been coming here a couple of times a week for the last few months. The last two times the b/t took my money for my beer and I didn't get any change back. I coUlf understand, if it was busy; but dropping $10 for a small pitcher gets old fast.

We are from Pa. We are spending the winter here. We have been into this loung many times. The owner and all bartenders are so kind. Oh and Carl the cook is the best ever. Always a great time when we are in there. This place makes me smile

Had a blast singing Karaoke, mixed with a hip hop DJ. The drinks were really strong and delicious! The service was on point, even when it got busy on Saturday night. The crowd for friendlier as the night went on. Fun place! Good prices too!

Very friendly bar tender. We had a couple drinks and parties darts. It's a very unassuming place and we were really surprised. We happened to be in the area and just went to the closest place on Google maps and I'm happy we did.

It was bar that seemed like it had mostly a group of regular customers .The music was way to loud and pitchers were kind a small for the price they were charging. All and all it's was your average small corner bar

It's a decent dive bar. Used to have good food but nachos with shredded beef is actually burned ground beef and not a good serving for the price. Bar tender was nice and helpful though. I'll be back just no food.

Wings were great, but everything is over priced. The kitchen could use a nice cleaning as well. If you have been drinking the bar food is awesome just bring your entire paycheck other than that the food is great.

Good after work specials and big drink menu. Only bad thing is the a/c not to great, but besides that it's all good. Oh leaving is also a headache turning out onto Thomas west bound but it's worth that headache.

A great old school dive bar with good bar food. Cammy manager and bartender was very inviting and on top of everything. I had the shrimp and fries. Decent portion for the price and cooked perfectly.

Awesome lady bartender, fairly decent sandwich, Good atmosphere, but the music inside was a little too Loud. Also, .the smoking patio was a little too brightly lit and could use a heater back there!

It was fun on Saturday.. We sang karaoke, the whole place was live and up and dancing. It was an excellent atmosphere. They have dart boards, pool tables and karaoke Friday and Saturday nights.

I go here for Karaoke but also, the people. Warm welcoming crowd and staff. The food is above average bar fare and large portions. It's the people that help you overlook the tiny bathroom.

It was a fun night for the event of Cowboy. Had fun won items from raffle. Won the tattoo but tried for what I wanted and my friend got what she wanted. It was s nice night.

Low key bar with friendly regulars, well priced drinks, good enough bar food (not too many vegetarian options, but it's a bar), a solid juke box, and lots of bar games.

Jeanette’s amazing and Jeremy’s grill skills are incredible. It’s just a little dive but the service is stellar, the drinks are affordable, and the foods good.

Loved the atmosphere it's blues meets sports and the best philly cheese sandwich!!!!! Great friendly staff. I'm going back next time I am in the neighborhood.

Visiting last Sunday night (5.22.22) and LOVED the atmosphere, bartender, regulars and food! Very unique and played Snoop to Chris Stapleton to Metallica!

Love this bar! Owner involved makes a difference. From the great bands like the UnKnown Associates to the Comedy shows there is always something going on.

Bartenders and cook are wonderful when we went. Both were Cowboys fans.. Score.lol. karaoke dj was very nice. Just didn't like the dumb drunk people lol

It is always fun to join the Karaoke Host and singers on Thursday, Friday or Saturday night. Shooting pool and enjoying the service provided is great!

We're from out of town but when in town we always have a great time here! Our last trip we had their Patty melt special and wings which were delish.
