I've been going to this joint for years (way back when it was Wolfley's) and have always been pleased. I stopped in this week and what a disaster it turned out to be. The place was empty so theres no "we were swamped" excuses. I needed a burger so I ordered the majerle's mama which sounded good. I was asked how I wanted the party cooked and I asked for rare, very rare. It came out somewhere past well done. I'm talking shoe leather well done. Bummer The next issue was the bun. There was way, way too much bun. Like hard to eat too much bun. Next, I felt ignored by the wait staff as my waitress was entirely to concerned with another couple that were clearly friends, relatives or regulars that got great service. Me? Not so much. When my waitress finally asked how my food was, I had pushed the plate aside (didn't finish the burger) and advised that this was the worst burger I've ever had. I did get a $4.00 discount (big deal) and walked out. I would have gotten better burgers at McDonald's or In-N-out burgers and that speaks volumes about Majerle's I probably wont go back. Thanks for reading

Hostess was on her phone when entering the restaurant, she was very friendly though . Once seated I noticed the booth was not clean and the table was not stable . Once our waitress came she was friendly and asked us what we wanted to drink. Once we noticed the table wasn’t steady we asked the waitress if we could move and she politely sat us at another table with the drinks we had ordered when we first came in and even that booth was not fully cleaned .We then sat there for 15 minutes before the waitress returned to take our order . We didn’t really didn’t understand the wait because the restaurant wasn’t busy at all . The waitress checked on us once and didn’t refill my husbands water and I ended up giving him my water . We didn’t really understand where she disappeared to . Food came out in a timely manner . We wanted to bring our left overs home but we didn’t even bother because we knew we would be waiting another 15 min or so . Food was good but the service and the cleanliness of the place has us not returning .

Absolutely awful experience. I ordered food to go and when I received my pasta it was cold. The food overall is subpar. My salad was filled with multiple pieces of hair, along with my other food. Customer service is terrible. I was on hold for 30 min and when asked to refund the order, they refused and told me they couldn’t do it, even though it was paid with a debit card. The manager working was not helpful at all and basically told us they didn’t care. If I could I would give this 0 stars. This is actually the second time my food had hair in it, and yours will probably have hair in it too, since it seems like they don’t wear hairnets. I am never going to eat here again, I’m disgusted and disappointed by their food and service. I would never come here or eat here again, unless you want to have a horrid experience.

The restaurant was mostly empty on a Sunday afternoon. We were extesively questioned by the hostest when we said we waNted to sit at a high top table. Apparently she had a reservation for over 3 hours from then. We assured her we would not be that long. She came back 30 minutes latter to ask us to move, the people with reservations were here 2.5 hours early. We said no. She did work something else out...but really?? The restaurant was ALMOST empty. And why was this the hostest job. No manager EVER came to the table...he just stood around watching the game. Our food was not good. Very little meat on the french dip. Frys not crispy as we asked. Had to ask for tea refills. Not an experience i want to repeat!! I expected sooo much more. First and last tme visit!!!

This was one of the worst restaurant service experiences of my long life. This place operates like a biker bar. My server (the girl with long red hair) acted offended that I actually wanted eating utensils. She let me sit for several minutes after my mediocre food was served and then became surly when she finally brought me a fork...yes a fork, no knife. I guess when you’re senior, there by yourself, you are deemed unworthy of service because the check isn’t large enough to generate a tip on non-existent service. Despite this, I tipped her 20% simply because it was a relatively small bill. She and whoever hired her should be canned for sheer indifference.

Go here often. Conveniently located in the Desert Ridge mall area. Plenty of parking. You can eat inside or out on the patio. Plenty of televisions with a variety of sports shown. The menu is terrific with lots of different options. I ordered the appetizer chicken strips. There were huge and four (4) strips. I like the idea of eating what you can and taking the rest home. The unique idea of not having a printed menu ; you have a bar code on the table in the booth, place your phone on camera and it scans the entire menu on your phone. The service was excellent and social distancing and masks were evident. Highly recommend

We've been wanting to visit for quite sometime and finally the wait is over. It was a Saturday mid late afternoon and seating was plentiful. Upon entering we were greeted by a hostess and was started right away. Just a few minutes pass and we were greeted by the waitress and ordered drinks. The Micheladas are really good. The food was phenomenal just a well as the service. I had the macaroni and cheese cheeseburger with fries, I personally loved it. I recommend stopping in and checking it out.

So I have gone to place a few times and almost everytime was a wonderful experience with nothing to complain about. The staff is very nice and helpful as well as very knowledgeable with their menus. They also give great recommendations with their personal favorites. The place is very nice and unique. An is also very clean from all of my visits to the place. The food is also great and haven't had any issues with the food either. Overall I definitely think that this is a great choice to go out with either yourself or even family and or friends!!! 4 stars!!!

I love Majerle's, always great food and fun atmosphere. This was my first visit to the Desert Ridge location and I must say, I had maybe a 5-10 minute wait which was spent of course in a chairnear the hostess stand. Aside from the bartender immediately behind the bar I have never seen a group of more unhappy, unfriendly customer service based staff in my life! I always smile when I make eye contact with people, just something I've always done. This group of employees would not even give me courtesy of a nod in response to a friendly smile! Very sad!

Pretty nice sports bar/restaurant. Sat up at the bar and the tender was nice and attentive, but not overly attentive which was good. The chicken fingers with sweet potato fries and a couple of cold beers were my pick. Chicken fingers were pretty good, not too greasy or excessively breaded and were nice and hot (temp.), sweet potato fries were pretty good and beer was nice and cold. They also had every Saturday college football game on several big screens, so it's a fun environment too.

  • Amy Ha

We had a graduation party here and the whole process was extremely smooth and amazing! Shout out to Travis, Autumn and Kylie and the rest of the staff who made the night great for the adults and kids. I changed the start time several times and asked a lot of questions but Travis answered them quickly and was easy to work with. We underestimated how much food we needed but the kitchen cooked up several more batches quickly. We couldn't ask for a better venue to have a party.

  • Keenan Graham

Came here on a Sunday morning to watch my Ravens play. There are plenty of TVs for the sports fans, I also liked that they indicate what games are playing on what TVs. There weren't many people there at 11am on a Sunday, I actually preferred it that way though. The food is your standard bar food. I didn't order anything exotic given it's a bar, but I still enjoyed the tenders and fries nonetheless. I would definitely come back here to watch any sporting event!

  • Paulena Baker

Came in on Sunday with my parents and asked if they would change a TV to the Suns game. We were informed that all TVs were going to remain on football. I get it, it's reg season while the Suns are in preseason but......its Marlies......Thunder Dan's bar. Wouldn't bother me so much if it wasn't the second time it's happened. The first time, we had come for a Suns game during baseball season. Same thing happened

Terrible experience. Specifically ordered pints during happy hour. After we received our bill we asked why we didn’t get the happy hour pricing. Manager came up and told us we should have known they were not pint glasses and would not honor happy hour prices. We said we specifically ask for pints. Server was no where to be found. Terrible service and and awful manager. Will never return. Buyer beware, poor service and terrible customer service.

After decades, I finally made it out to this restaurant. There is a ton of parking and easy access. Menus are eay to read and meduim to higher priced. Food comes out quick and you get a town of it. Lots of T.V. wings are spot on and 4 flavors to chose from. Nice looking bar as well. Service is Great. Highly recommended. I would like to see a bigger cup of ranch and more carrots with the wings.

  • Damian Glaze

Bartenders and wait staff are awesome. Overall management is mediocre. Wanted a NFL game on the patio where there was only five people total and five or six TVs. Said they couldn't change the TVs because that's the way it was planned. One TV wasn't even on and the others were only showing the same two games. Poor planning and poor flexibility in adjusting to the people that actually came out.

  • City 360 Tours

We stopped for lunch since we had an hour to wait for some work to start. We split a burger and I loved it and was thinking 5 stars all the way, my wife on the other hand said the burger itself had no flavor, the flavor was all in the bun and sauce. So my next bite I realized she was right, but I'm not the chef she is and I'm the one writing the review. So 5 stars for me 4 for her.

  • Corinne Ricca

Poor service and mediocre food. Asked for a medium burger and came back as well done. When I pointed it out to server, she literally responded with "oh, ok. No one else has complained." And when I then mentioned to management, he looked unimpressed and made no mention of trying to make it right. The best part of the meal were the fries - nice and crisp. But I wouldn't come back.

  • Leah Eddy

Server was very inattentive. Manager was completely oblivious to the server struggling. Ordered a basic Caesar salad with shrimp. The lettuce was wilted and soggy and the shrimp was completely undercooked. Absolutely terrible service which is a shame because the location downtown is a night and day difference. I’d give 0 stars if possible. Definitely will never go here again.

  • Mark Unsicker

We came to see the game. Service started good then our waitress disappeared. we had to ask other waitresses to find her. she finally came back. We ordered cheese sticks terrable. Fish and chips not good no cole slaw. we then ordered desert. waited waited finally we just went to front asked for check and left. Have come here before and aways enjoyed it. Won,t be back.

  • Nellie Nel

It was nice to vibe here for the game but, it was super pricey for just store bought items. Teriyaki sauce is store bought, chicken is pre-seasoned and packaged. They just warm up their store bought items and that's what they serve. Disappointing considering the price.

I had always wanted to go to a Majerle's location if I was ever in the Phoenix area and finally had my chance to go last week. I got Murph's Mac 'n Cheese Burger and it was the perfect portion with lots of goodness on top. Don't worry, you'll have a bunch of mac and cheese spill out to eat after you finish your burger. Service was top notch.

  • Pat Thomas

Use to like this place but the quality of food is dropping while they raise prices. Beers are on the expensive side also, though the selection is decent. Majerle's needs to decide to either keep their prices low to reflective quality of the food, or match the food to the price. High price for poor food is not a winning combination.

  • Chris Ward

Hit or miss. My friend jalapeno burger was really good, crispy thin fries. The mac and cheese burger was more sloppy than it was worth. My table got house margaritas and everyone hated them but the Cadillac margarita was much better (according to my friend that gambled on a second drink). Pretty typical bar food joint.

  • A Riggs

The place was clean and very well maintained. Restrooms were clean. They have nice TVs all the way around the restaurant and some pretty good music playing. I didn't garner anything to eat because we just came from lunch and decided to stop in for a drink. I can't wait to go back and try some food next time.

  • Mike Taylor

Didn't eat here, waited for a server for fifteen minutes and wasn't approached until we got up to leave. Was sitting on the patio where a bunch of kids not wearing masks were running all over the place and climbing all over tables and the back fence. Was excited to eat here as I'm a CMU Alum like the owner.

  • Nolan Sperling

Great staff, great beer selection, fun atmosphere, but the food is overpriced for what it is. The food pricing is on par with other bars around here (like BJ’s or Sandbar) but the quality of the food is not that great. I would much rather eat somewhere else, but the loaded potatoes skins weren’t bad!

  • Lisa Vaughn

We were visiting from out of town and came across this restaurant. I love sports bars and this made sense. The food was really good and you get large portions. What set it apart for me was our waitress. She was awesome! She listened to our orders and made appropriate suggestions. We had a good time.

  • Turner “Demolitions” Merrifield

Visited during late lunch on a Weekday. Their was not many people here, easy for family access. The burgers are cooked well and the bread for the burgers are almost better than the burgers themselves. Not a bad place for a quick visit or a long late night. Versatile restaurant with possibilities.

  • Christa DelBarrio

The drinks had a lot of alcohol in then (not conplaining). The fries were amazing! The atmosphere was great. Only reason I didn't rate 5 stars; I waited 30 minutes to get my appetizer (chicken strips and fries) while everyone around me, who ordered after I did, had their food served first.

  • Mary Smith

Service and food were great, as always. We love the wings, they are cooked perfectly and the sauce is delicious. We ordered chips, salsa and guacamole tonight for the first time and were very pleasantly surprised! All were better than most Mexican restaurants were frequent! Yummy!

  • Brad koemer

BAD The burgers are overcooked and it took over 20 minutes to get them. The service was not bad but I can see why there is no wait. The fries were more like potato chips than fries. The only good thing about this place is that it is warmer than it is outside. Bring your wallet to.

  • Jason Shanahan

$5 bud light bottle and $5 draft craft beer...very odd pricing. On a Saturday evening, during March Madness NCAA basketball, this place wasn't busy which is sad because it's a sports bar. All other restaurants and bars in the area were super busy. I think that speaks volumes.

  • Seth Paxton

It's standard pub fare, and sugary cocktails but tons of TVs for all sporting events. We have a Thanksgiving tradition to watch a Pacers game at this location while on holiday, and they always accommodate our request to get that game on and let us sit for the whole thing.

  • Dan Erickson

Been going here for years! When it became Majerle's I was excited! Really cool place, and the burgers were huge! But alas, they lacked beefy flavor.....clearly a sub-par selection of ground beef....almost zero beef flavor...fries were awesome! Atmosphere was great!

  • J P

Good sports bar, good food, large portions, i took half of my salad home. My only issue, and it's a personal one, is the overall darkness in the restaurant. Most of the rooms' illumination comes from the large screen TVs, rather than overhead lights.

  • Alphonza Faison Junior

Good service. Good venue for watching the game. Food is mediocre at best. Great presentation and preparation. Needs some seasoning and flavorful sauces. Just bland and lacking imagination compared to other restaurants in the same desert marketplace.

  • Benjamin Kastelic

Had a blast watching the Suns games. Nice clean place - Jessica was such a delight. The food was delicious and the beer was cool and on point. A lot of people outside, but we found inside to be perfect. Dim lights with a great feel …

  • Shalee Crudo

Great place to watch any and all sports....this spot leaves no space uncovered when it comes to TV's. Food is really delicious and fresh... Definitely not bar food. Salads are fresh and large in portion. My favorite app is the buffalo

  • Rob Hopper

We stopped-in for a rather late lunch before a doctor's appointment. I had the Asian Chicken Salad which was very good: and well prepared. We were both very satisfied and the service was great. I believe we'll be back in the future.

  • Black Sunshine

Completely satisfied. Best food I've had in a long time. Got the mama Majerle burger with the sweet roll! Wow it was good. Service was on par with the bar atmosphere. Five stars for the food 4.5 for service. Coming back very soon.

  • Bob Deardorf

Hate to say it, but, the menu has changed. New items, but the quality has gone way down hill! The food is not worth getting. Good environment, great place for watching a game, but don't expect the same quality! Very disappointed.

  • Rob B

Visit this location several times a month. I love the fact they label TV's with current and upcoming football games for the day. Nice touch. Service and food are reliable just not memorable. Menu could use a refresh or updating.

I have booked three birthday parties here and they have made the experience wonderful every time. Service was great, price reasonable and lots of sports to watch which is better. We are sports people. I would highly recommend.

  • Jeff Thoreson

Came here on in a Sunday to watch some football and it was solid. There was a good size crowd and good energy. Only downside is the service was not overly attentive, though it was friendly. Best part was my team won!

  • Paul Campos

Not a bad place to hang out and drink, beers are priced very reasonably but I didn't try the food. The only thing I didn't like was the yuppie crowd, didn't really too comfortable since I am the opposite of a yuppie.

  • Blaine Woodruff

The manager was nice, he gave us a partial refund food was terrible the service was bad except the girl who brought us our condiments in back. Don't know who trains the staff, but they need a revamp. Don't go there.

  • Charlie Carolina

Killer nachos and great food all around. The atmosphere is exactly what you want out of a bar and grille, and the staff are on top of their game. Super friendly and professional. Wish I had this place back home!

  • Tamara Foster

They had the Brewers game on which was awesome because I couldn't find it aired where I was staying. The food was very good, recommend the fish tacos! Excellent service and a comfortable place to enjoy a beer.

  • M M

On a positive note: Great spot to watch a game. Clean environment. However, food is horrible! And the beer is warm. Our server, Makenna needs to consider immediately getting out of the customer service field.

Food and atmosphere were very good. Maybe we got unlucky and just had poor service. Had to ask other servers to get our server for refills and to order food just was not a good experience service wise.

Friendly and laid back sports bar in Desert Ridge. The food is good for bar food, and they have a decent variety. We love that the patio is dog friendly. Overall, this is a great place to watch a game.

  • Christopher Taylor

Changed the menu and it’s not nearly as good. Sir Charles pasta is gone??? It’s a staple and a way better dish than what they have now. So sad. Staff is great which is why they got another star

Wonderful food, delightful environment. First time was yesterday with my husband and had to go back today that should tell you something! ♡♡ Thank you Ashley for recommending such yummy food.

  • Justin

Food and service was overall pretty good. Apps came out hot and quick before our food. I had the bbq bacon burger and it was good right and juicy and the fries were crispy and delicious.

  • Diane Leapheart

The food was good. The drinks were and the service was very good. The waitresses checked on our table to make sure we had everything we needed. It was very comfortable for a sports bar.
