Firstly I am a big doner kebab fan so my review is not coming from having it the first time, infact I have it almost every week. This was one of my worst experience. The kebab wasn't fresh at all, meat was not tender as should be infact had to chew and throw most of it. Overall it tasted really bad and on top of everything, over priced with far less quantity as compared to other places. So in Melbourne, it is indeed the worse taste I have experienced. I don't live in Rosebud so perhaps for locals, this is the only choice they have.

N/B. There is a public road crossing closer towards 7-Eleven. Please use it!!..

Had these a few times now and just can't get around it. Chips are good but the kabab lacks flavour. Garlic sauce is non existent even when asking for extra and tabouli is just bland. The cottonseed oil which they use I think is part of the problem. Not a healthy oil so I find it strange they chose that over similarly unhealthy oils which taste better. The choice of focaccia is a good thing though but we won't be back. Far from the best kebab in the area, they started off better but have gone downhill.

Good family run business, food portions are large and meat quality is fair. HSP is nice, they also have falafel this wanting a veg option. Kebabs are available in both Pita or Turkish bread.

Best kebabs EVER! Ordered the lamb kebab & was delighted to find its REAL meat not that processed rubbish mostly served in kebab shops. The felafel kebab was outstanding, too big for the pita wrap we were hungry on a Thursday night at 9 & had been turned away from Steam up the road & asked to come back at 10 - who wants to wait till then when they close at 11? so this was a blessing! And the lovely couple at the counter were delighted to greet us! Top marks thanks again guys.

Food is great but service is the worst I've experienced in a long time sadly. On several occasions have made phone order so no waiting around and told 10 minutes without even being asked for a name then when arriving they haven't even started order and ended up waiting almost half an hour as busy by the time we got there. The whole point of a phone order is to not have to wait around. Not impressed as it has happened on more than one occasion!

Easter Saturday 2023 - the absolute worst Kebab ever. Over cooked, dry and tasteless lamb and pita not even heated, much less toasted. Inedible garbage X 2 straight in the bin. Wife said chicken was ok but even she didn't eat it all. Maybe just can't handle busy times but $50+ in the trash would have been preferable to this and the time taken to get it. Never again for me.

The worst hsp I've ever had, the meat tasted like it was from a week ago. I asked and paid for cheese can't find any and the chips are like they haven't changed the oil in years. Absolutely the crappest meal I've ever had. Id take it back and ask for a refund if I wasn't so far away. Its a $20 rip off. Do not spend your hard earned money here. I cant believe they are still in business

Went here as a group of seven. So, had the chance of trying various out of menu. Absolutely beautiful kebabs! Place is neat and clean run by a lovely couple, so nice and welcoming. Winner for me was Iskender kebab which was close enough to what I tried in Istanbul years ago. Thanks guys and keep it up.

One of the best kebabs I've had in a very long. Had a mixed kebab on Turkish bread, and the wife had a lamb kebab in pita bread - both were fantastic. Kids just had chicken and chips, and my daughter (who is super fussy) said that it was so good it made her Fanta taste bad (and she loves Fanta!). Definitely going back next time we head down to the Peninsula.

We were a group of 10 ladies with 4 kids coming back from hot spring peninsula very hungry, we found this place on google by chance but when we got there and we found that we were very lucky as long as we were treated perfectly with the food and also the quick & friendly service. I loved their Gozleme and Doner plate. Highly recommend Turkish restaurant.

I got Turkish bread and a small tzatziki dip. Price was great for a quick bite, and I couldn't get enough of the dip, it was delicious! The owners are lovely and very friendly, generous servings too :) would recommend for some excellent Turkish take away.

In my opinion, Hungry Bill KEBABS are better than any kebabs in Melbourne, as he actually makes his own kebabs on the spit with real lamb strips. And they taste amazing. Most kebab shops buy their kebabs ready made from a factory which is why 95% of kebab stores tatse the same. Hungry Bill is highly recommenced

The staff were lovely and friendly. The chips in the hsp were oily as hell. The meat was chipped up into a little tiny bits and cooked again on an iron stove. This is not something I feel needs to be recooked if it's fresh off the rotisserie... super salty. Sorry but couldn't recommend the HSP

Amazing customer service! The guy (the store owner?!) who served us made us feel nice and welcomed as soon as we stepped through the door. Food was full of flavour and the meat was juicy. Staff knew how to treat customers well. Would definitely come back for more good food and good vibes

Signs out the front saying no mask no service, I didn’t have a mask at the time so I got someone to order for me. They could see me out front waiting. Next minute a guy with no mask enters & they serve him. Unprofessional specially with the standards at the moment due to covid.

Great kebabs. Not the 'gold standard' - see Artisan Kebabs in Cooma for that - but very good all the same. Very efficient service for takeaway. Not really a place to eat in, other than for an eat-and-run meal.

Worst kebab place I’ve been too, firstly waiting for my kebab for an hour just to have people ordering after me receive their order ahead of us. Once the food was ready, chips and meat were so dry, didn’t even finish my food it was that bad.

This had got to be the best Kebab shop going. Owners are lovely and the food is bloody top notch

Lovely owner and we really enjoyed the food. The owner took the time and suggested few dishes off the menu to suit our needs. The bread was so fresh and we really did enjoy the meal.

The staff member who I assume was the owner gave the perfect size recommendation on HSP for the 4 of us. The HSP was perfection, presentation immaculate. I will 100% be returning

Lovely staff, however the hsp I ordered was the Worst hsp I’ve ever Eaten. The sauces were horrendous, there’s virtually no cheese and the chicken was very dry.
