Today i went here to pick some veggies and found things on special once i got to the counter a very nice lady scanned everything, usually i don't ask for receipt however i thought i have been charged a little more so checked and yes it was $4.50 over as the bag was on special but the lady did full price anyways i told her about the mistake, now she returned me $3.50 however she was supposed to return $4.50 its only a $1 difference i dont care about it but i went back and told her that she did a mistake again but she was not ready to accept that, not that i want my $1 back but at least people should be a bit more understanding not so stubborn. Overall i like to shop here as we get some really good specials.

Son came back with chicken that was off (which is a repeat thing), sent son back to store with it, they yelled at him, so he rang me, the lady got on the phone telling me that she will refund, but only this time, I told her if she wasn't going to refund EVERY time she sold off meat, I was calling the health department. She hung up on me. Use by dates don't mean anything to these people. Milk always tastes like its been left outside in the sun before being refrigerated.

Whoever owns this shop needs to do something about it. Its so expensive it's laughable, 7/11 is cheaper. the place needs a revamp, it's a shame because it's a good group of shops nearby, all i buy are the absolute essentials, The Deli Lady is great, most of the staff are good, but the owners! really take a long hard look put some money back into and you may benefit from it, if not sell it and move on. Someone might buy it that know how to run a business..

Basic Shopping Centre with all neccesities. It's small and local so prices are a bit higher then your average Coles/Woolies. Tattsloto is sold here as well as a decent alcohol range. Plenty of parking, albeit always busy now matter what time of day. Staff are friendly and quite helpful even though you can tell the owner cheaps out and hires young. I wouldn't travel the extra distance to Woolies or Coles, perfect for day to day.

What a great deli!. Meat and cheese sliced to any thickness you desire. Best value you could find. Better than the others. Well laid out store makes shopping quick, especially if you only want a few things you can find the aisle you need quickly. The roast chickens are done to perfection. Always plenty of helpful staff. Baked goods and deli are also top notch. Fresh pies and sausage rolls are great also.

A basic store that is probably due for an update but it has all the essentials and is in a convenient location with plenty of parking outside. The prices are higher than the standard supermarkets (comparable to other IGA / convenience stores) so it's a good option for a a handful of items you need quickly. Grab some takeaway at the several options just outside and you're set for the evening.

After checking on Google where to buy stamps (didn’t have enough time to go into a shopping centre for Post office before work) and needing somewhere on my way to work, Google told me that this place does... They do not after rudely being informed by the young girl working there, after she asked me what a stamp was ‍♀️‍♀️ ‘a what??’ Learn customer service!!!

It's in a worn down state, the interior looks like it's a storage warehouse, very pricey, only go there on rare occasions when the 7/11 around the corner doesn't have what we need. Staff is reasonably nice for the kind of environment they work in. Will probably still go there to buy small things but other than that it's out of my mind.

Bought several items from this store lately. A lot of items have been out of date. Today i bought a bottle of soft drink. Open it to have a drink. Was flat. After looking at the best before date was 18th FEB 2018. This is almost 2 months past its Best Before Date. Advice to anyone purchasing items from here. Check the Used by dates.

This place somehow irritates me. Buying Lotto, newspapers and magazines it's cumbersome. They really don't like you. Trust you poorly. Buying alcohol or grocery is better. Look at their specials and they look after you well. Customer service for Lotto and Papers is poor. Other customer service is positive.

I wouldv givin it a 1star earlier in th year - however, i can see they ar trying 2 make improvements. Freezers were over frosted with towels on floor catching de-frosting/expired products/milk due 2 expire in 2days/magazine rack out of date... Staff however are hard working, friendly & helpful …

What a wonderful place not big on size but huge on service. Very clean has enough of everything to pick-up anything you need in a hurry great selection of wines and spirits and get your tatts tickets to. Fresh flowers and fruit and vegetables lovely staff will help with anything else you need.

Walked in tonight at 7.48pm to put Tattslotto on and got told Tattslotto booth is closed . How can it be closed as you don’t close until 8pm. Ever wondered why people decide not to support the local independent store ? I guess the staff wanted to get home for the footy . Poor form !

  • Zackary Myers

A bit small, so selection of some items isn't that good, but for basic grocery shopping has what's needed (no bakery/deli/butchers though). Have also never had an issue with service (not that I've really needed anything but to check out).

  • Greg OBrien

The staff are fantastic...the service exceptional...but the price of smokes are way too expensive. They go up and down and up like a pair of socks. Way too inconsistant. Iga in wellington village...is way cheaper and always consistant.

  • David Anderson

As far as IGA's go, this one probably survives purely based on being convenient to the immediate locals. Its limited stock, ageing interior, and above average prices leave a lot to be desired. Their service however, is pretty good.

  • Deborah Fragkoulias

I agree, it’s really only for emergencies and essentials because lots of things are dearer but if you can’t be bothered going to the bigger supermarkets... Definitely out of date and feels uninviting but staff are nice.

  • Angela Cook

Has always been clean and tidy. Different owners these days apparently and staff no longer as friendly. The store has a good selection and absolutely great for a quick dash in and out but too pricey for a large shop.

  • Nish Sharma

The staff can be very rude at times. Expensive stuff and never value for money. It just fills up some gap if you can't be bothered going to other supermarkets. A lot needs to be done to make it a sucess.

  • Jeff Savage

A small IGA with a limited selection of products and the prices are a little on the expensive side. Handy for people living nearby but certainly a lot more expensive than Woolworths Coles or Aldi

  • Steve C

Good opening hours and all round service for a friendly neighbourhood store, can grab a few bits while picking up some tea at several local food outlets to that are all located in the same place.

  • Peter Gluyas

They need to upgrade their card reading machines and software. I have trouble every time. I have mentioned this several times but they don't seem to care. This really is not good enough IGA.

  • Mel McMillan

A small local store that could do with a lot of detailing to improve the looks of the store and also make it more inviting. from the front entrance the lack of detail attention is evident.

  • George Bayios

Prices reflect my local milk bar and many items seemed to be on the shelves for a long time, some brighter lights and greeted with the occasional smile could really change this places feel

  • The Legitimate Reviewer

Their quote is to support the local community....seems like they do that by over pricing the other half of the community. Just drive that extra 5 minutes to coles or woolies

  • Brendan Miller

Friendly staff. Great fresh sandwiches, rolls and wraps from the deli. The isles can be a little cramped, but they have a great selection for such a small supermarket.

  • Jacqueline Barr

I love this IGA. They have thd best deli. I don't have young kids anymore but I did see they had premade lunches for children. They looked awesome. What a great idea.

  • PUPPY GAMING

Its a small little supermarket obviously not as cheap as Safeway or Coles but it does have good bargains at times. Staff are usually very nice n helpful...

  • Don Horsburgh

IGA Rowville Lakes is very handy to where I live and is an ideal place to obtain urgent supplies. Prices are competitive and this IGA is well stocked.

  • Laura Nemet

  • Leafy .K

  • Stephen Szymanski

I have always found the service and ordering by phone fantastic.Deliveries are great as well. Keep up the great work

  • xen nex

depressing, old, gross store and the owner brad is revoltingly rude. will never give my business to them again.

  • Matt Dobrowolski

Quite a lot of variety here, including fresh produce and a deli, as well as food from international suppliers.

  • Paula Pelletier

Little local supermarket Beautiful fresh salads made in the deli & lovely continental cakes & biscuits

  • Emad Amsi

Bad service, unprofessional staff, not recommended. If there is 0 star, I will give or even less

  • Jason D

Great little family run business. Friendly staff who are always welcoming and happy to help...

  • Peter Lawrance
