"Went here yesterday, crowded, so took ages for the waiter to just take our order, but the food came relatively fast"
"The Hanoi spring rolls are delicious~love the deep fried rice paper pastry but definitely can use a few more pieces of lettuce haha! Fried chicken pho had quite a generous serve of fried chicken~noodles were lovely and soft"
"Vietnamese pancake looked great but unfortunately, vegetables inside the pancake were over cooked and soggy"
"Have been coming here on and off for years and was pleased to find the original owner still at the helm"
"I have been here so many times over more than a decade"
Went here yesterday, crowded, so took ages for the waiter to just take our order, but the food came relatively fast. Tom yum pho was good, the beef pho according to my daughter is not beefy so she doesn’t quite like it, the prawn spring roll was delicious! The drinks lemon soda very bubbly! The 3 color drink was good
The Hanoi spring rolls are delicious~love the deep fried rice paper pastry but definitely can use a few more pieces of lettuce haha! Fried chicken pho had quite a generous serve of fried chicken~noodles were lovely and soft. The pork chop in special broken rice wasn't really marinated enough but overall was yum.
Vietnamese pancake looked great but unfortunately, vegetables inside the pancake were over cooked and soggy. I prefer raw carrot and bean sprouts - more like salad which I get in restaurants in Footscray. There were only a few other customers at the restaurant but I waited for a while for my food.
Have been coming here on and off for years and was pleased to find the original owner still at the helm. The food and service is top quality , however a little expensive when compared to the Uni fast service shops nearby. You get what you pay for and sometimes you just want quality. More
I have been here so many times over more than a decade. But I have to give this one star because of the shocking customer service. Take them 25 mins after order to give us the drink and 30 mins to give us food after I asked for it. Messy to no custom service. No one was apologetic.
Just tried the takeaway Pho from this place plus BBH and steamed rice rolls. It transported me straight to Vietnam! The broth was rich and flavorful, and the fresh herbs and condiments made it perfect. It's hands down the best Pho I've had in the nearby area. Highly recommend. More
It’s a bit more upmarket than the places I usually frequent in Springvale and Richmond. But because it’s my local, I thought I should give it a go. And I was pleasantly surprised. The food is pretty good and the portions are quite generous. So definitely coming back here. More
WOW! One of the Beef Phos I’ve had in Melbourne and I’ve tried a lot, plus it came via UberEats. This one came jam packed with additional bits, and was extremely filling - usually always feel hungry after a Pho, but not this one. Quality ingredients. Thanks guys More
Friendly and quick service and delicious food. Was nice to see guests warmly greeted by name (so clearly lots of regulars). Restaurant was full, and customers all seemed happy and to be enjoying their meals. We would definitely return and recommend it. More
Used to love this place, something must’ve changed, perhaps new owner or kitchen staff? Served 2 cold curries that lacked flavour, too oily and felt like it had been poorly reheated from the fridge. Fried rice was also way too oily. We left
Perfect place for a hot and delicious bowl of pho on a cold day. Ordered my regular raw beef with tendon pho and spring rolls. Ive been here a few times during lunch but this time i came for dinner and the food didnt get served till 30 mins
Food was good, was quite satisfied til I went to the counter to pay and was met by one of the rudest lady ever. Initially gave me the wrong invoice and I questioned the food that was ordered as it was not our order and she just kept asking
Used to be the go to Vietnamese restaurant in box hill but over the years, the price increase has gotten ridiculous. Bun is now over $22 and pho is very salty. The main waiter/ manager there is rude and obnoxious, got really impatient when
This place was my go-to for a decent bun for over 25 years. The last few visits have disappointed though. Tonight you could tell the waiter was barely listening when we placed our order. Sure enough we ordered chicken bun and got beef and
When paying the bill, I asked the staff whether cash or card payment amount is the same, staff said same. I then paid by card and got charged about 2% surcharge on my account. Staff told me the wrong info and hide the surcharge in the
We love the food and the lady waitress is super friendly and the owner/boss should take a leaf out of her book as he isn’t very welcoming at all and is quite rude. I worked hospitality for over 10 years and we were always friendly and
With so much to pick from in the area, this is a decent Vietnamese restaurant in Box Hill. It can get really busy and I don't know how 'authentic' it is, but the menu provides plenty of options and most of them are done well.
it’s unfortunate that the quality and flavor of the food has declined since we last visited. nonetheless, they still offer a great variety of traditional vietnamese dishes that is suitable for all ages and occasions
Good yummy food. Tables are a little tight sometimes. Not good when you can smell people sitting next to you also the delivery room behind the curtain behind the seats where we were sitting.
Disappointed. This restaurant was once one of Melbourne’s best Vietnamese restaurants appears to have lost its way. Indochine was once the high end of good Vietnamese food. It now appears to have
We had the broken rice pork chop rice and the roast chicken pho. The pork chop is average and the sauce is a bit salty and we had better. The pho was better. The servings are reasonable. More
They have good Vietnamese noodle soup and the portion is really big! Had tried their signature rare beef noodle and beef brisket noodles- the beef is nice and tender even good for kids.
I went here twice for dinner in my 7 day trip to Melbourne. The food was top quality. The staff is immensely friendly and customer centric. Felt like home food. Highly recommend.
A great place for delicious traditional Vietnamese cuisine to entertain family and friends. Entrées: rice paper pork and prawn rolls, steamed rice pork rolls, ground prawns
The food quality was average and the service from the female staff was quite pleasant. However, we felt pressured to complete our meal and were asked to pay before
The food here is great, however PLEASE check the cups before drinking ! A couple of months ago I found a small piece of broken glass in one of my cups.
saucy gravy fried noodle with beef and tomato fried rice with chicken. was okay, wish i picked something else. probably wont be back anytime soon. More
Food is already average in both quality and quantity; however, what surprised me the most is the very poor customer services between different people.
Haven't been to this place for a while. Good to know the quality of the noodles and springrolls have not changed. Bit pricey. Good food doh. More
Some of the best Vietnamese I’ve had in Melbourne. Grilled pork lemongrass was incredible !!! The pork ripped apart like butter ! Def be back.
Busy place but there are lots of seating and people don't normally hang around after meal. Lots of choices for food and serving is generous.
Tasty food at decent prices in the heart of Box Hill. A little bit crowded and staff weren't the most friendly however. More
Consistently great quality pho. We have been back a number of times since our first visit and always order their beef pho.
Great place to go for good food and friendly staff. We have been going there for 20 years and it is excellent. More
Best pho in town (as least for me)! Quality ingredients and super tasty! Love love love…
