"This place looks fancy for a Vietnamese restaurant, which usually is quite modest and basic looking"
"Nice but they could really benefit from adding some more vegetarian options especially for their soups"
"Pricier side of viet food"
"I crave this place, like literally dream of it"
"the food was fine but the thai milk tea was so disappointing, $7 and clearly just one of the instant ones from the supermarket, no flavour just sugar & the pearls were powdery and raw in the middle, don't waste your time on the bubble teas"
This place looks fancy for a Vietnamese restaurant, which usually is quite modest and basic looking. The price on the menu isnt cheap, maybe due to the decor. I had their broken rice pork chop with fried egg which was nice. But then I never had anywhere of this dish that is bad. But overall happy with portion and taste. More
Nice but they could really benefit from adding some more vegetarian options especially for their soups. They’re excluding a large part of the population, if I wasn’t meeting people here I wouldn’t of come purely due to the lack of vegetarian options. Also overpriced drinks. ($8 for a lemon lime and bitters) More
Pricier side of viet food. Spring rolls were great, noodle broth unique to this place not as depthed as others, and chicken is not seasoned and basted so you get the chickeny smell and not fully crispy beautiful golden brown coating. Other than that it's fine, I would come back even though not perfect. More
I crave this place, like literally dream of it. It’s the Best of box hill and that is saying something. The spring rolls, Bun, honey chicken and spicy squid are out of this world. Fresh fresh fresh! Aromatic and flavourful all around. You can’t miss with tien dat More

Dont let the upmarket renovation (which is actually quite nice and modern) fool you. This place is not much better that the standard fare Vietnamese restaurants in Box Hill, Richmond or Springvale. Food is okay and service was good. Biggest
First of all the food was really very nice- although my pho was too salty and had no brisket in side which is what I ordered(when I brought this to the waiter attention he shrugged and did nothing). I liked that my entree and main were well
The service here is excellent, it started with a phone call to make the booking, a pleasant lady took my last minute booking very pleasantly was such a positive experience. My guest was there before I got there and the hostess had seated
Disappointing to see a case of unreasonable pricing for the amount of food here. $23 just for a normal meal of crispy chicken on tomato rice and $22 for a chicken salad. For an $18 spring roll, we only got 4 pcs. Definitely priced above
Alright folks.. if you have a rice craving. Look no further... the fried rice with char siew n prawn , was not oily and really tasty. It was good. So good. And the pho , my wife wack the entire bowl... their chilli paste that comes with
A great dining experience with a large menu and plenty of choice. The shaken beef (brown butter sauce) was very tender though the tomato rice was a little too salty. We enjoyed the homemade lemonade drink and Hanoi spring rolls as well.
Had the rare beef pho. 18$ for a small bowl with a very small serving of rice noodles. Here's the thing, the noodles is actually really good but it was ruined by the small pittance of noodles they provide. Rice noodle is so cheap, it
I came across Tien Dat when looking for a Vietnamese restaurant in the area. The decor of the place was pleasant and modern. The staff were nice. I noticed a few of the dishes on the menu were on the pricier side for a Vietnamese
Came here with family, my kids ate pho while I tried the fried rice. The fried rice was average and the pho was okay. Although I really enjoyed their springrolls. Overall I would give my whole experience 3/5, thanks More
Came here with friends for lunch. Had the Pho and Seafood noodle soup in chicken broth. Portions were big, and there's no MSG in the soup. The place is very clean. Will definitely return.
My daughter and her friend booked Tien Dat for dinner. After 50min they were asked to leave. They checked their booking confirmation and this was not mentioned. Very poor form. More
Amazing food and great service! Loved it. Each course better than the next. The staff were very accommodating of our little one and pram, and friendly. Must visit when in the area.
What an utter debacle. We had a 7.30pm booking for 5 which we were on time for. Table wasn't ready for a bit. After half an hour I found a waiter to say we were ready to order. We
Nice place to go to sate your Vietnamese cravings, the food was mostly well balanced and came out in a timely fashion. The restaurant has a nice layout and is well spaced out.
Grilled pork is dry and too sweets for me, can’t finished it at all…pho is okay but there is a top thin layer of oil not sure if it’s meant to be like this for their style .
We’ve been here again and again since the first try and they were always cool. The foods and drinks are delicious af and their young staff were super helpful as well!
Can't say I could see any onion, let alone bean shoots in Bún $18.50 #falseadvertising Cup was dirty, looked to be some residue, that was stuck on, I did however
OK VIETNAMESE RESTAURANT IN BOX HILL The cafe is modern and has comfortable seating. The service is efficient but there is no warmth at all in the service :(
Still my favourite place for pho, since my uni day back in the 90’s, until recently when I visited for a holiday after more than 25 years. Great food. More
Along with great service , the Hanoi spring rolls are to die for!! So crispy and meaty!!! I wouldn’t mind just having the spring rolls for main next time!
The food here was OK. I wouldn’t say it was great. It was just OK. We had several dishes. The prices for corkage was very reasonable. Friendly staff.
Food was average. Satay sauce was very unique and tasteful! One waiter was very accommodating and cooperative, while one was plain cold and
Took friends here. They are recent arrivals to Aus, originially from Vietnam, but have not been in Vietnam for several years.
Bun Bo Hue, Grilled lemongrass chicken on rice and Pad Siew were excellent choices for today's lunch. So tasty. More
