Highly recommend John Crawford mechanics. I was recommended to go to these guys by my mechanic who has just retired. Every interaction with staff was friendly, upfront, personal and honest. As a woman I feel we are at the mercy of guys who know women generally don’t know much about cars. I was told by 2 other mechanics I needed a whole lot done which raised suspicion as my car was just taken in for a timely service. These guys checked everything out and only did what needed to be done and were very reasonable with costs. Very please I have found a new honest mechanic.

These guys went above and beyond. On New Year’s Eve “eve” no other mechanics were open and I was recommended by my usual mechanic to see if they could help. My alternator was gone. They sourced and repaired the problem in less than 4 hours on what was probably one of their busiest days. I was looking down the barrel of no car for 1-2 weeks. Instead job done same day. Can’t express my gratitude enough.

Very few of these garages left in Australia which is a real shame!! I now live in Cairns and really miss this place for servicing my vehicle. Dealerships are highway robbery and worst of all, you can't trust any of them!! Take your car here and be rest assured, your getting a quality service at a reasonable price. In regards to John Crawford, the bottom line is, you can't go wrong.

John and his family/crew have always been very easy and quick, price is good and experience is better. John has worked on my many cars for over 10 years before I moved an have found it extremely hard to replace them. highly recommend, couldn't ask for a better place!
