Have been coming to John and the boys for years on the recommendation of an old colleague. Always great service with very reasonable pricing - pay for what is needed as opposed to being charged for every single little thing possible. Have recommended John to many over the years and never heard anything even slightly negative back. He’s personally worked on all the cars that I’ve owned and there has never been a single drama, even forecasts if some repairs or similar may be required in the future giving you an estimate of timeframe and cost. Fast and friendly with quality work, highly recommended! We need more honest mechanics!

The world needs more people like John. VERY HONEST. He doesn't charge you for little thing. The bonnet of my car wouldn't open, he worked on it for 2 hours as he couldn't open it, he didn't charge me. I sometimes go there to ask him for help and if it's just a little thing he won't charge. One time my power window broke down, the car dealer quoted $1800 to change the new one, John tried hard and found a mechanic who can fix it and the whole thing only cost me less than $800. I wish I could give him more stars.

Heard good things about this place from a coworker of mine as they are near my work and he has used them before. Unfortunately that isn’t the case in my experience. Called the owner and he would cut me off mid sentence and not listen to what I had to say. Kept telling me to take my car elsewhere and started explaining to me how to get rid of a problem my car didn’t have. Needless to say I’m glad he told me to go elsewhere as I wouldn’t give him my business anyway. Rude and uneducated.

The truest definition of your local friendly small business. Honest assessments, no overcharge. No hidden costs. If anything he does too much good work for free. Need to support good mechanics like him! Of course he cant fix everything and may be very busy since he is popular. But worth the wait. He will direct you to other specialists that dont overcharge if he cant fix the issue. Is a toyota/japanese car specialist but does other brands too of course. 10 stars!

Best mechanic I ever been , John is the best mechanic extremely knowledgeable in vehicles, I had a Ford transit nobody couldn't identify the problem then I went to Telopea motors he couldn't identify the problem, he advised me sell it to wreckairs, at finally I gave a last try with John, he found the problem and fixed it in 3 hours, even my new car goes to service with John, very reasonably priced , you can trust John 100%

My BMW mechanic retired and recommended John who is a street away from his shop. Both my husband and I have found him to be honest and reliable. I had a service done and he did a thorough check, calling me to advise what needed to be done before going ahead. I am thrilled with how the car now drives, smoothly like a baby ! STEER CLEAR! Called yesterday told to come today. I get there and they guy takes one look at me and says “no, go away”. I was frustrated and angry and he wouldn’t leave me alone either, he came up to my car and opened the door as I was leaving. I had to psychically push him away and tell him to leave me alone, and to walk away. Absolute worst customer experience ever. Never again.
