Very professional, experienced and honest workers. Great pricing for the work done. John showed me the old parts that he replaced. My cousin recommended John to me after his experience. Had an issue with my smart key as it wasnt opening the door without pressing the unlock button and the key maintenance sign poped up on the screen after I got my clutch, all 4 shocks and a service done, took it back and they checked it again. Changed the battery of the remote and it stopped. But as I drove out the issue popped up again. They opened the car up to see where the issue was. After a while they found the issue and fixed it. I would not hesitate to recommend John and his team to anyone! Looking forward to getting my car serviced here for years!

I can not recommend John and his team enough! Getting my '98 Prado serviced at John Nowaks Garage was outstanding and by far the best experience among quite a few mechanics that I have tried in Sydney and Melbourne. The car received an oil sevice and a replacement of the auto transmission fluid. John finished everything on the day I dropped the car off and charged only about half of what numerous other places had quoted! The gar runs great now. Above that John was exceptionally welcoming and thoroughly explained every step of work. A very quick and thorough service plus by far the best value available! I'd give them -10 if I could, had my car serviced when they told me I needed to replace my idler pulley and tensioner pulley plus fan belt along with over a $1000 worth of other repairs, one of these so called repairs was lower control arm bushes which just a week before they told me was good. I got the pulleys and belt and replaced them myself. My old fan belt was near new the pulleys looked fine one being near new, I took the newish one to repco and the guy there told me it was good, no noise not lose and spins freely (they sell them and would have tried to sell me one if it was shot) you can't trust people who try and rip you off in this economy.

John and his crew is a down to earth and honest bunch. His 29 years of experience with cars and running a garage is seen in his work. When you drop your car off, he gives updates and regular quotes and explains what you need to do and if something is necessary or not. His quotes are amazing and much lower than other mechanics ( I serviced my car previously for 330 dollars for just an oil change and air filter change where they jammed a wrong size of filter into my glove compartment) John quoted me 185. He really cares abkut your car and gives you advice on how to take care of it and how to prolong its life. Can't recommend enough.!!

The behaviour of one of the mechanic was so disrespectful, very arrogant. I had visited there for car inspection service with advance booking, once i reached there, mechnic was busy in some other car, so i was waiting outside the office. After 5-10 min, he just came and with very disrespectfully/bad way said, go out of garage and stand on the road in heated sun light, as outside is straight a road with no shadow. However, John (Seats inside office at billing) is a very good person but his staff definetly not good experience. I ignored the person behaviour at garage, but felt it is needed people to know.

Very good customer service and repair time. My car broke down on a Tuesday afternoon towards the end of the day. I was escorted by NRMA to the shop after making a call to see if there was availability. It was assessed within a day and quoted. The price was quoted at the lower range of normal expectations and did not exceed the quote. My car was replaced with a new clutch within a couple days despite the last minute notice and was ready to be picked it up by the Friday same week. John and Paul answered my questions and showed me the parts that caused the breakdown. Would recommend !

My car's clutch began having issues and smoking last wednesday. Took it into John and his team and they were able to take it in the same day and have the job fully completed by Friday afternoon before the weekend. They needed to order some additional parts which in the long run will preserve the clutch even more and the car has never run better! It was my first time using them and would definitely come back again. John, Mario and Paul were all very honest and hardworking and put my safety as the first priority.

The car wash up the road noticed smoke from my car and recommended I visit this repair shop (which happened to be the nearest). The mechanic saw me straight away and explained what had happened to my car and that it would be an easy fix but didnt have the part so recommended I go to my usual service centre so I don't have to wait. He didn't take any money from me for the assessment. I'm so thankful for his service. A very humble, honest and caring man.

Had a battery blow up in my car. They went as far as lending me a booster kit and when that didn't work, I pulled the battery out of the car and brought it to them. At which point they load tested it for me, and they sent me to a trusted battery place to purchase another one. Super cheap auto was going to quote me $340 for the same battery and I got out with $120 instead. Transparent and simplified process all up. Highly recommended.

Ultra friendly service. Quick and efficient. John knew me by name based on our call without ever having met me, and remembered my name when I came back to pick up my car. He walked me through the bill and when it was all done and it's all great and on the level. The garage itself is pretty cool... A lot of history on those walls and in those tools !the day I went there, there was literally a rainbow over the place. (see picture)

Simply John is nice guy. I had a mechanic friend in home country, here in Australia I met with John and John make me remember him. John Novak entire family is nice. This is my regular automotive. The guy John is honest and so is reflected in all his employees as well. They are very thorough with the servicing and give advice as well. Good value of money. It is essential that the customer needs to know about their own car and whats wrong with it too. So that they can concentrate on those areas more. :)

Honest and efficient team of mechanics. John personally walked me through what was done to my old car and showed me the worn parts. A good experience all around and a great owner. EDIT: A month later, my car started showing problems again. John fixed them at no cost even though he didn't have to! Very honest; I highly recommend his team.

Can't reccomend enough, always a pleasure coming here to get my regular service. John and his team are honest, hard working and respectful. As a young woman I've often felt talked down to by mechanics but I've never had this experience with John. If you want a reliable and more than reasonably priced mechanic, look no further.

Everyone at this shop is unbelievably hard working. I have dealth with Paul and john and both are very honest. I was told by another place that my car would cost a lot to fix, when the team here told me there's nothing wrong with the car when they could've charged the equivalent. Hard working and honest.

Really great mechanic. Have started going here recently after my old mechanic retired. Old school and solid work. No complaints. Easy to deal with (yeah there is one bloke who isn’t as friendly as the rest) but John is an experienced operator and runs the business well. His dog is lovely too!

Called up with an issue with my car and asked if they could help. The guy replied "not interested". Not sure what the attitude was about and honestly, fair enough if you can't help if you're too busy, but being "not interested" is simply arrogant and plain rude.

Called them up and asked for a service around midday, they said I could bring it around and it was done by the end of the day. The staff were incredibly nice and it was fairly priced. The dog was a bonus too. Can’t recommend them enough. Thanks guys :)
