I am genuinely sorry to offer the following negative experiences by way of feedback for Johnny Boys Pizza, Tower Hill, Victoria. Real and genuine regret because I thought I had found, after a long time of searching after moving to the Peninsula area, a pizza delivery of high standard in all regards from the pleasant and efficient phone manner when the order is placed to the promptness and excellent service in delivery of hot, beautifully prepared meals, the high standard of fresh, quality ingredients and the wide array of menu choices. NO MORE CAN I HONESTLY SAY I AM HAPPY OR IMPRESSED WITH JOHNNY BOYS. I was once happy and enthusiastic about recommending them but I am afraid my honest advice now can only be to spend your money elsewhere. Several consecutive bad experiences, the final one (ever) being this evening have left me feeling cheated of my money and too annoyed to enjoy their 'food'. Four orders ago 'thin and crispy' was anything but on my $25+ order, very under-cooked, crust like a wet sock, lukewarm and 20 min later than the promised delivery time. Three orders ago, same order placed with a very pleasant report offered on the previous order for which I was offered no apology but instead from the somewhat annoyed young lady who answered; no acknowledgement of what I had said, a loud clatter as the phone receiver was slammed onto a hard surface, then (shouted) ''this bloke reckons there was something wrong or something with some order the other week..." then ''the boss said he'll tell the bloke doing the cooking...". This time the order was early, the pizza burned, the gelati missing completely and only delivered two hours and two phone calls later and then only left on my stoop 'knock and run' style. I am a fairly patient kind of person and after nearly a year of good to very good experiences I was prepared to overlook the previous two 'lapses' and give them another try and so, two orders ago I placed the same order again, again it was more than twenty minutes late and undercooked, presenting 'wet-sock crust syndrome', the drink not cold and the deliverer without any change. I sadly made a firm resolve at this point not to order from them again however, circumstances conspired this evening such that another order was indeed placed with them with the now unfortunately common disappointing results. A good friend was coming for a visit tonight and while I jumped in the shower he offered to order the pizza and without thinking I said to go ahead and just grab the cash out of my wallet. He knew I was in the habit of ordering from these jokers from a far previous visit when they still cared about their work and rang Johnny Boys with a similar order to my usual only roughly double. Dreadful result like orders one and three and a 1.25 litre drink missing. A phone call about the missing drink, a promise to deliver shortly, no apology and no drink delivered at all. I will never order from Johnny Boys , Tower Hill again and advise everyone else: ORDER AT YOUR OWN RISK!

They advertised for a delivery driver, no mention of food prep. When I applied, I hadn't heard back so I called. Spoke to the owner whose first question was how old I was. I told him 60, and he said he wants someone young. I told him he wasn't allowed to do that, and he said the person needed to do food prep, make pizzas etc. I told him I was a chef but he still wasn't interested. Slave labour for slave wages. Don't let your kids work there. The following is the advert: Pizza Delivery Driver Responsibilities: Checking orders before delivery to ensure that the correct products have been made, and that charges are accurate. Transporting items to customers at their desired locations. Managing cash and card payments upon delivery, as needed. Adhering to road and traffic regulations. Remaining up-to-date with the restaurant’s promotions, and informing customers of these accordingly. Anticipating and responding to customers’ queries and complaints. Pizza Delivery Driver Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license for the area in which you will be working. Friendly, service-oriented disposition. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Prior experience in a similar position will be advantageous. Able to work shifts, over weekends, and on public holidays, as needed. Must have own car and holding victoria licence 15-20 hours available for right candidte

Update Worst customer service ever!!! I watied an hour for my food to call up and find out it was cancelled due to no staff. When I spoke to the manager apparently all she could do was say sorry and say she will make up next time. Next time is y good enough they are an absolute joke!!! Not the first time it's happened but will be the last time I go back. My suggestion don't waste your time on this place they don't appreciate their customers! 24th of March 2022. I ordered my meal came over an hour late. When I opened my garlic bread which I had asked for with cheese there was no cheese. Which in the past I've always done this with cheese. When I called I get the girl saying they don't do that it's not on the menu, when I corrected her with my past experiences she then asked how it was wrapped like this was a actual way to tell me I was making things up. When I got to my actual pizza it was dry and barely any topping on it. I've never had a problem with them in the past but not a happy customer today.

You would be better off just burning your money and drinking nail polish remover. A seafood pasta dish, a ceasar salad and a garlic bread were ordered. Three simple dishes that would be hard to mess up. Yet Johnny Boys were able to mess each item up so badly that all the food went into the bin. I offered to leave the food outside for them to pick up, and for a refund. Even with getting hair in the food, having bland wet pasta in two cups of oily water, and a garlic bread that was both rubbery and burnt, a credit was all they wanted to offer. They couldn't pay me to eat there again. Johnny Boys should hang their head in shame, close up shop and switch to working in a gumboot factory, which I would rather eat than have anything again from Johnny Boys Dirty Yuck Shop. Don't even get me started on the compressed chicken and hair served in the salad. Do NOT eat here.

The ONLY reason they dont get a one star is because their base was light and fluffy The toppings though, fml. Bbq sauce was like water and saturated the pizza and tasted cheap and generally bad, the toppings where sparse and all over the joint, meat lovers was just ham and fake sausage and cheese.. thats NOT a meat lovers! The bbq chicken was ham and chicken if i could even FIND the chicken, and then it wasnt even real chicken! And the toppings themselves were 2 inches from the edge, whats up with that? I hate leavind bad reviews but damn, you need to step up the game, take pride in your food or lower your prices by 50% because it was god awful. I ate the garlic bread more than the pizza.

Disappointing service. The good is generally always good which is why we keep coming back. Our online orders have been missed /forgotten about several times. When we call to follow up its always 'just about to leave' or 'just going into the oven'. They apologise nearly every single time we order. It's gotten to the point where I will call after hour to actually check its coming because I don't trust anymore that it'll show up. Like I said, we are almost always happy with the quality of food but it's now just a place we go to when we can't be bothered dealing with dinner ourselves.

Placed order no response for hour and half rang back to be told had the address wrong. Happy to deliver cold pizza no discount whenever the driver got back. Only after i was told im not important enough for manager to talk to. Never will i go to frankston store again. Bad service and made to feel even worse. Ending up having to cancel order and went to celinas in frankston. So much more helpful even matched their deal. 10mins for pizza. Very disappointed in johnny boys frankston

Been buying from this store for a couple of years now got large serve of pork rib's tonight apart from the tasting like the cardboard boxes they were in the sauce was dry and the three of us that ate them spent sorry but an hour or so on the toilet with you can guess what only ate half of them the other half getting returned to the shop tomorrow morning when I spoke to the manager the next day she was very apologetic and gave me full refund so I will still be a customer

Absolutely disgusting service. We ordered 3 pizzas, call them because they stuffed two of them up. They said they would remake the pizzas and send them out to us as soon as they could. Which is fine, it happens. Then the older lady calls me back 5minutes later, in a very rude tone accusing me of lying, that we wouldn't be receiving replacements, offered a refund but told me that id have to contact Uber eats for the refund. Would give zero stars if it was an option.

I moved to Frankston 6 month ago, never been to all pizzerias in the region, but undoubtedly this is the best meat lovers pizza I have been tried out so far. Just adding some chicken on top without additional charge could fix any hunger. Also very polite and friendly manager, all orders on time and of course great value for your money. Every visit is a pleasant experience, I wish to do it more frequently, but need to watch my figure :)

CUSTOMERS BEWARE Ordered 2 pizzas for delivery. The wrong pizzas were delivered. After speaking to the shop several times and an hour and a half weight AFTER the first delivery the pizzas were delivered again and were incorrect again! Not only were they wrong the pizzas were not delivered fresh and were like warm. Bad service, average pizza. Unhappy customer!

Fantastic pizza!! Meat lovers, bbq chicken and pepperoni. Great layer of cheese, cooked to ideal! Can't get over how good this was. Simple old school pizza done brilliantly. Only possible knock I can think of was a bit salty but my partner loved that about it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Bought the ribs and a few other things. The ribs smelt off and didn't look right at all. I wouldn't eat them and wouldn't even give it to my dog. It went straight in the bin. That food should have never made it out the door if there was any care facter for what they're producing. I definitely won't be recommending this place to anyone, especially when there's so many other decent pizza shops in the area.

Ordered standard pizzas and they were fantastic! Although we bought a family sized Nutella pizza and there was hardly any taste of Nutella, just cheese. It was really disappointing… please do better with this Johnny Boys staff. If you advertise a Nutella pizza, we want a proper Nutella pizza! I’m not paying you guys to save on ingredients.

Place is a little busy, but this is because their food is to die for. It's not like god-food, ya know? It's just very very tasty, *almost* god-food. It makes you think, wow if this is a 4-star establishment what would a 5-star look like? Would recommend to anyone in the area to give it a shot and try out their awesome pizzas.

Last Saturday night we tried Johnny Boys Pizza. I asked the male staff if l could have an Aussie pizza with Onion on a thin Garlic base. OMG it was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. It was the BEST pizza l have ever had. I will definitely be back, The staff were kind, friendly and had a welcoming smile. Cannot wait for the next visit.

Disgusted with a recent order....we ordered large ribs (there was 9...the biggest 8-10cm, the smallest less than 5cm), large box of chips (there was 12!!!) And the donuts had more sugar than jam! It's been going downhill for a while now. Sadly, won't be going back after no reply from store and a dismal order.

Friendly customer service, very good value for money, fresh ingredients and incredible flavours. Best takeout in Frankston. Pastas and pizzas are large in portion. Meals are of restaurant standard. Highly recommend.

Order a large pizza, garlic bread and 1.25L soft drink on a Tuesday night at 7:30pm, after receiving my pizza 2 hours later at 9:30pm I found my food cold and my drinks were wrong. No apology or explanation as to the 2 hour delivery time. Never going back here again.

Terrible service as we ordered 3 pizzas and they managed to get 2 wrong then the third went cold when dealing with the problem. They added ingredients to the pizzas that didn’t have those ingredients. And this was coincidentally our first time eating here!

Only got takeaway pizza so was in and out in two minutes cause I pre ordered.

Ordered a large deal for $33.90 at 6pm, was informed that it would be delivered within 45 minutes. Pizzas eventually arrived at 7.35pm, pizzas were cold and disgusting, won't be ordering from Johnny Boys again. You've just lost a customer.

My go to pizza restaurant in Frankston South. When I don't get pizza, I order the chicken parmigiana which comes with chunky hot chips. I placed an order to pick up at 6pm recently and it was ready at the exact time. Highly recommend!

Surprisingly really good. The vegetarian pizza was delicious. I haven't cone here in years well.... Because my previous experience was pretty bad. I think the original owners have taken over so the quality must be good again.

Love getting our pizza from here. Delicious every time.

Have only ordered it 3 times. The 1st time was ok, the second time apparently the order got lost so I had to wait 2hrs and on delivery it was shocking. Third time 30mins late and it looked like a dogs breakfast.

They are always late to deliver my pizza even though i live 5 minutes away, it is honestly pathetic. On a different note the pizzas are always overloaded with sauce and extremely soggy.

This food, incredible. I ordered a parma and some other stuff through Uber Eats a few days ago, the food came hot and crispy, was super tasty and made me a very happy customer.

A bit hit and miss with quality in their quieter patches of the week but generally Thursday to Sunday a very reasonably priced and tasty pizza that is very good value for money

I just realised why people gave low star rating I ordered chicken tandoori and they added some bread on top its not a chicken. The worst experience.
