I took my 3 year toddler here for a haircut, his first time at JC Marrickville Metro. Only waited 5 minutes on a Sunday morning (walk in), Kim welcomed us and I mentioned to her my son’s so-so experience at two other salons. She assured me it would be ok on the condition I let my son be and not get too involved (this is really good advice!) - a relaxed toddler is a happy toddler. By letting Kim do her thing my son had no issues with clippers for the first time, the cut wasn’t rushed and he was so content to sit there and enjoy the dvd player they brought out for him. Most importantly it was a good haircut! Honestly, I am so impressed with their service it was well worth the cost given it was a Sunday. You can’t put a price on a stress-free haircut for a toddler! Thanks again Kim. We will see you again soon!

My first time at this Hair Dressers. My Cutter, (I can't remember her name) was extremely pleasant and professional. She asked what I would like. (I actually had a photo) She said she could do the style I wanted, and so we began. She began cutting and then would continually ask if this was the length I required or "a bit more off". It was good, as you "can't put it back on". After about 30 minutes my cut was complete, my hair "moussed" and styled. I payed and left. The Salon was Extremely Clean. The staff were very nice. They're Professional. Yes, it's a "Chain" Company with numerous outlets. But this Store was right for what I wanted and I'll be back.

I have been following Carol Johns around for about 6 years! I met her originally at Broadway and now thankfully she is in Marrickville just down the road from my place. I have travelled the world as a dancer and she is the only hairdresser that has ever taken the time to truly understand how my hair works and has always listened and created great cuts and blow dry styles for me. I cannot recommend her enough!! She is passionate about her job and it shows. She is so professional and is also a wonderful human being. She is the one to book in with if you can! Jasmine cuts my hair, she's a good stylist, and very friendly. On two occasions she had asked if I wanted my eyebrows trimmed, I said no thankyou. This time round before I knew what was happening she had the comb through my eyebrows and snipped off the back part of one eyebrow and was working on the other, I was angry as I had told her twice before no. She cut them so short it looks like I have half an eyebrow on each side, not a good look for anyone, particularly for a 70 plus woman. Spoke to her today told her I couldn't trust her so would be looking for a new hairdresser

My experience with hair dressers has always varied, but my experience at Just Cuts Marrickville was amazing. Welcomed to the store with smiles, I went for a hair cut, a substantial trim. I went out of just cuts with not only an amazing hair cut - the happiest i’ve ever been with my hair, but also with a lovely experience. My hair dresser, Jasmine, was attentive and engaged me in a lovely discussion, that cheered me up after a long exhausting day. Never before have I had as good experience at a hair dresser than I did with Jasmine at Just Cuts Marrickville.

At Marrickville Just Cuts the staff are always friendly. Your desires are listened to and carried out. Suggestions and recommendations are offered and not forced on you. You can ask for your preferred staff member to do your hair if you are happy to wait. Their services and products are reasonably priced. Senior discounts are given on weekdays. They cut the hair of children, males, females and seniors. There is nearby parking and shopping, and it is on the bus route. Only downer; they don't do dyes.

I’ve been to just cuts a handful of times and it’s been a good experience I get that it’s a no fuss, budget hairdresser but I what i do expect that your instructions will be listened to. I needed a simple cut and specified the length to about 10cms below the shoulder only for it to be cut to shoulder length. That is a big difference. Not being able to put my hair up in a bun or do anything now for the next month or so isn’t going to be fun.

I went in today to get a haircut but they wanted my phone number, i asked them why since nobody else was in the store waiting. They wouldnt answer. They asked me again, and again i asked why they needed it, again they wouldnt tell me. If you want your details on sold to 3rd party, this is the place to get a cut. If you want a good haircut at reasonable prices go to johnny stlyist directly opposite this store.

I dropped my son at the salon and went for shopping. I told him to ask the staff’s advise for the style because this was the first time he got hair cut in a salon. Instead of giving him some hair style advise, the staff recommended him to do the simplest style, one blade for the whole head. With no experience, he certainly agreed and finished with a ‘all mum can do’ style which costed $28. Not happy at all.

I was attended by Rachel. Besides she being very polite, I will never cut my with her again. I tried to explain how I would like to have my hair cut, but she didn't seemed focused. So, after she started, I decided to ask her to only cut the back & sides hair (my short hair), and (at the end) I had to hold my long hair (from the top) to avoid being cut while she was doing the back and sides hair... :(

i love my hair so much the first time that i went back! i went on a weekend this time so it was a lot more expensive to get my haircut! i just wanted my hair trimmed about an inch or two and my layers redone! it was a very nice process and i enjoyed the haircut! she make the layers a bit to drastic so i had to wait until they few a bit more but overall it was nice!

Just terrible.. it's my own fault that I keep going back but this last hair cut is garbage.. I showed a picture.. we agreed to keep it an inch longer than the image.. my hair is now half an inch shorter than the image.. the hairdresser spent half the time trying to fix the eftpos machine then came back did two snips and said it was finished.. done with place

I had some of the ends of my hair trimmed, anyway for the amount of hair cut off in less than 10 minutes, I was disappointed to be charged $30 and that was a Senior concession. All I can say is, it was UNJUST and I won't be going there again. The lady was nice it's just the service is not justified, I would have expected to pay maybe $15.

Haircut was ok, bit uneven. But the main issue is I have a pensioner card because I’m on disability support but they said they didn’t accept the pensioner card because they only accept old age pensioners. Which I’ve never heard of and unsure if that’s even legal to deny it when they had pensioner rates listed on their prices.

I was having trouble finding somewhere that would cut my 8 month old baby’s hair. We saw Lina at the Marrickville Metro Just Cuts store. She was so patient, caring, and speedy. My baby cried the whole time but Lina was calm and helped him feel more at ease. His hair looks beautiful. Highly recommend Lina for baby haircuts.

Once I got a good hair cut here and so I went again and I’m horrified with my hair now :( it’s a hit and miss place depending on who’s the hair stylist . To add, although the lady was friendly, my hair is very uneven now . I’m never going there again

I’ve been to just cuts 3 times in the last few months and had a different stylist each time and have never disappointed. I’ve been given what I asked for and walked out happy! I’m moving out of the area soon but i will be coming back for my haircuts.

Hit and miss. I have been really happy with 2 out of 3 of my cuts here, but the last one was bad enough that I won't roll the dice here again. The stylist who cut my hair did not seem to understand the concept of a trim and cut months of growth off.

My son got a haircut with them but they just rushed it and didn't even cut it properly , was talking to the lady who was doing it but she just kept sayinh yes but feels like she doesn't care at all.. Not good experience with them not coming back..

The hair dresser Carol who works in Broadway as well as Marrickville, my husband and I have been going to her for our hair cut for the last 8 years. Carol is very artistic, warm, hard working and polite. We wouldn’t go to anybody else.

If there is nowhere else to go or you don't have a local barber then this place will get the job done but they are pretty ordinary. They don't listen to what you want done, it's just a matter of getcha in getcha out with them.

I had the BEST!!!! experience at Just Cuts Marrickville. Very clean and tidy, I was met with a kind girl that gave me the best hair cut. I will highly recommend this place if you would want a great experience.

Highly recommend, I downloaded the app where I could check in and book an appointment and see what the waiting times are so I don't have to sit around for to long. Great customer service and I love my haircut.

Just wanted to trim the unevenness out of the ends of my hair. Yes, showed her a picture and how I just wanted to trim those bits. So disappointed!!! Don’t know her name but definitely NOT coming back!!

Asked for a particular cut , even took photos of what I didn't want.. I got a butchered cut and it was exactly the same as the photo of the cut I didn't want. What a waste of money this place is.

Overpriced, cheap service. Go somewhere else that will dry off your children's hair after soaking it to cut it in this cold weather. Also, they don't listen, they cut off too much hair!

Went in for a hair cut and the Asian lady sprayed my hair with disinfectant spray instead of water, possibly they should look at investing in a cleaning supplies cupboard …

Just Cuts in Marrickville Metro gave me a botched haircut. They cut off more hair then I asked for and ruined my hair. NOT HAPPY! And not going back!
