This was my first time going and I was very excited to get my hair done at this salon as it had been 7 months since my last hair appointment at a different salon, I had decided that I wanted a bit more foils then last time I got my hair done so I decided to do a 1/2 head of foils instead of what I normally get (1/4 head) however when i left the salon i felt less blonde then I did when I went in, I explained clearly what i wanted to my stylist and she told me "let me work my magic" and completely disregarded what i had said i wanted and like, i explained that i do not want a toner or root smudge yet i got both, i also expressed that i prefer my highlights to be a bit thick and not babylights, yet again my opinion was not taken into consideration for my hair, i ended up bleaching my hair on my own about two weeks later and i like it alot better. Although the colour was not what i wanted the cut of my hair is really nice and she did follow through with what i asked, the vibe of the place was welcoming and alive and all the staff were lovely however i just wished they had done what i had asked so that the $400+ dollars i spent didn't go to waste. I do not think i will be going here again for my foils but i might for just a hair cut.

TO MY MUSLIM SISTERS WHO ARE SCARFED! HEAR ME OUT!!!!! Had the best experience at Katrina Gallo. They know exactly what they are doing, and they give the best advice and service to your needs. I was always given step by step as to what is getting done, made me feel so comfortable and understanding of the process. BUT to my Muslim sisters, make absolutely sure that you inform staff, that there shall be no males entering whilst they are getting there hair done. I’m sorry to share my experience, I myself as a scarfy and another lady who is scarfy had two males enter. The staff were apologetic but it needs to be addressed where it will not happen again. Again, best experience I’ve ever had here, they even make the best coffee’s and head massages.

I had a great experience at Katrina Gallo Hair, and will definitely be going back to them in future. The fitout is modern and chic, and Izzy was amazing. She was so attentive and got me the exact result I was hoping for. She gave me personalised tips based on my upcoming travels and I loved how she dried a section of my hair first to see if I was happy with the colour outcome before continuing to dry and style. 10/10 experience

I visited the salon for the first time last week and couldn’t be happier with the amazing service I received from the moment I entered. Sarah was very professional and friendly to not only myself but the other clients around her. She definitely made me feel very welcomed and she did an incredible job on my hair. I have not stopped receiving compliments. I will definitely be going back.

Katrina and her team are amazing. Exceptional service in all aspects from the friendliness of all team members, great hair cut & hair styling + can’t forget the head massage (which is always soo good!!). I always walk out of the salon feeling fresh and confident in my hair. Such a convenient location right in the heart of Oatley! Highly recommend!!

Previous experiences at this hairdresser have been positive. My last visit sadly was quite expensive and my hair coloured quite literally washed out within the first two washes after getting it dyed. Tried emailing the salon to express my dissatisfaction and to ask if this is normal as it hasn’t happened before, I received no response sadly.
