So after closing their change rooms for however long due to covid, there has been *NO* signage that their change rooms have reopened. Instead they have the door permanently locked and there is a very small sign next to a button on a corner of the counter saying *press for service* Moving forward, I purchased some underwear yesterday and after returning home to try them on as I had no clue that the change rooms were back in service, i realise I don't like the fit and returned to refund the items with my receipt and tags still attached the n xt morning, only to be told by a smug smart mouthed manager that they will not return them and I should have payed attention to the signs in the underwear section. These signs are VERY, VERY! Small.. And far and few between.. moments later I see the same rude manager running around applying these small cards saying "no return on these items" EVERYWHERE!! & I MEAN EVERYWHERE.. Why does it take someone to waste their money and become upset before the managers in this store take action on things that should have been done in the first place??? I'm not impressed with the way this was solved $22 is all my refund was, I have spent $1000's!!! in this store and I will not be shopping at this Kmart ever again!!! Regards, One very unhappy customer!

Friendly staff but huge restocking issues. I always check the site to see if things are in stock before I go and ask the staff to check their PDTs also. They’ll always say they have x amount available but the shelves are always empty and they can’t find it in the back. This same instance has happened in multiple departments; clothing, electrical, entertainment, etc. They have a huge organisation or night stocking issue. One or the other. They also NEVER pick up phone calls EVER. Whenever I ring other places, they’ll pick up after about 2 minutes or so wait time, these guys won’t even if you wait 20+ minutes. Also, every single online order I’ve placed through to these guys has been canceled or partially canceled. It’s like they don’t even want to bother fulfilling the order at all. I don’t mind waiting for items to come back in stock but it’s like they don’t even bother and just cancel it anyway.

The Aspley Hypermarket Shopping Centre has a wonderful Kmart stores outlet which caters for In Stores shopping and Curb side pick ups. Queensland QR scanning is required on entry to Kmart and any other stores outlets on-site. Kmart at Aspley Hypermarket has a wonderful range of clothing and other accessories available at value for money prices. The Kmart catalogue particularly with Christmas approaching has a wonderful range of selected items at bargain pricing. It pays at times to do your shopping online to avoid missing out on items that are on special. This stores outlet is Wheelchair accessible, it is located on the ground floor level of the Hypermarket. We found the staff at Kmart more than happy to provide quality Customer Service, nothing was a problem for anything that we had inquiries about. More than happy to recommend wanting to spend some quality time at this Kmart stores outlet.

Customer service desk is horrible, every time im there i have to wait 20 minutes or more just to change a product. Today the lady didnt acknowledge me until she was done with the customer before me. I wanted to change a pair of shoes for a size up, she gave me store credit instead so I had to make a seperate transaction for the wrapping paper i bought. When i eventually got to checking out the amount on the voucher was $6.65 and the shoes were $7. This was because of the discount card used for the first pair i bought. So I had to pay the extra which is no biggie but such an inconvenience as i couldn't use the voucher! Far out. Kmart i love you but please stop making it so difficult end of rant..

Well, there are always mothers out hunting for bargains. And now that I have a child I suppose I am doing the same. Not a mother as such, more of a dad, but still, a bargain is a bargain. I must say though I hate that the registers are in the middle of the store. I hate it. With more passion that I should probably own up to possessing. How is this possibly a good idea? Also, the signs telling me where everything is are a bit, well, difficult to locate and see. Just let me get to the baby clothes! Four stars for the store in general, minus one star for the ridiculous register situation.

A young lady by the name of Clare at this store went above and beyond to help me find a product that 2 other stores did not have. Clare could have told me that they don't have it if it is not stocked on shelves, like others did... but she checked out the back.. it still wasn't located, until she asked a truck driver that was unloading stock from the truck. She came back and advised it'll take another 2 to 3 hrs for the truck driver to unload the stock.. we came back and picked up our item. Well done Clare, we need more people like you doing the work you do ☆☆☆☆☆

Very untidy & dirty there. Everything was just all over the place with a lot of item clothes & other items things. Kmart at Aspley doesnt look good as it used to be. Needs to be updated. Theres no women changing fitting rooms anymore to try clothes on. They only have the boys & men changing rooms. And a lot of women & included myself had to go in the boys & men changing fitting rooms. It doesnt feel right & a lot of women are feeling uncomfortable about using the boys & men changing fitting rooms. As we all want the girls & women changing fitting rooms back.

Disappointing. Arrived right on opening time so no one in the store customer wise...Online stock count incorrect on several items I went there to shop for..as in NONE of them were in stock. No staff were able to show me where things would be when asked..just given vague directions with a general point. After an hour of searching the lady in customer service at the back of the store was fantastic..as in letting me know that the things I wanted weren't in stock at all and which other stores would have them. I love kmart but found this store very much a miss.

Still great products at very competitive prices, but I don't like the new layout of the store. Parts of it are like a maze, and having the checkouts in the middle of the store just feels weird. Using the self serve checkouts is enough to send you bonkas, especially if you have more than a few items that you're juggling with. It gives you about 2 seconds after scanning before you are told to "please place the item in the bagging area". I heard it after nearly every single item and by the end of it I wanted to kick the machine in it's bagging area.

When they were about close, they decided to close most of the cashiers, there was a lots of customers waiting and they could only use 3 self-service cashiers of many they have. Meanwhile 3 staff were just there standing and rushing people instead of opening the other cashiers I gave them the recommendation of opening the other ones and telling them that it didn't make sense to close the self-service and rush people with only 3. They gossiped in my back saying being rude about my suggestion. Please check your staff and procedures.

Terrible shelves and over tiredness of store is just a mess products are everywhere staff are only to be seen when standing talking to other staff when you go up to ask where something is you get the look like you interrupted their conversation so they have to work then they give you a general its over there in that direction the check outs are worst 1 person to man the whole lot you need at least 2-3 people maybe pull some of the staff off the floor that are standing around chatting an put the on there to help customers

Was here yesterday and I am unbelievably impressed with the customer service skills within this store. One in particular, Lachie (Blonde, almost mullet) I was absolutely confused as I didn’t know where the pot stands were. I went up to him and he not only told me, but also directed me to where they were. Not only with a smile but also having to put down stuff he had in his hand to help me out. This young bloke deserves a pay rise! Demonstrates the qualities of customer service we simply don’t see that much of these days!

Kmart has dominated the discount department space since 2014 after somehow rebranding their demographic to successfully appeal to literally every age group! Amazing. Regardless of your age you end up buying more than you intend. Unfortunately in 2016 they decided to change their layout in 148 of their 228 network. You know what I’m talking about Kmart, you know it well. Yes I will continue to shop but your location change of the counter to the centre of the store is painful. The reasoning doesn’t even make sense.

This is not the biggest Kmart store on north shore but occasionally I have found this store can have stock levels that deplete slightly slower, which can be handy. Sometimes items may be sold out at Toombul or Chermside stores but they may have stock in Aspley. The range seems quite similar in this store to Chermside or Toombul even though it’s smaller. Parking is the only downside to this centre. It can be hard to find parking unless you go in non-peak hours. Staff are always friendly and helpful at this store.

Tom is a very nice gentleman who helped me find a trampoline to buy. I tried to hit on him however he was very professional and denied all my advances. I wrote this poem for him: The Kmart store was where I met him, Near the bikes and basketball netting. This is such a dangerous place because I swear I only go in there for 1 thing and I always walk out with more there’s just so much in there for every taste, area of the house and just things you didn’t even realise you needed until you saw it there and think “hmm that would actually come in handy”. Everything is also well priced so you can’t deny it. So unless you don’t want to buy anything at all…don’t step foot in the store because you are bound to walk about with something.

I was at this Kmart last night, I was wanting to try on this shirt I saw so I went to the changing rooms and there was nobody there so I pressed the button to call someone over and a rude lady came and her name was Zoe. I had asked if she could please open a room for me and she said yeah while rolling her eyes and she said it in a really rude tone, I feel as if my request was reasonable because it was well before closing and I was polite.

I went to this store and got a refund voucher which I can use anytime, but unfortunately printing of voucher was bad as I kept it for two weeks, it faded. When I went back to store, checkout staff denied to take it. Really it’s hurting when someone ripping off like this way.This Kmart has worst staff specifically young girls on counters.Please don’t take refund vouchers from them. Take money back on your card.thanks

Thankyou to Georgina at Aspley for going above and beyond with her customer service. Organising a discount on an item, finding the items I was looking for and bringing me a variety to choose from. Well done, good customer service is hard to come by but Kmart do it so well from the lady on the entrance, the very young boy sent to help me at cosmetics and the lady with arm in a sling on check out. You all made my day

Absolutely love KMart, cheap prices for homewares, great range of stock...one drawback I think is a silly idea is paying for goods in the middle of the store. Prefer to have checkout attendant serving me, today none was available...not good enough, dislike self serve machines, had a lot of stuff, my friend put it through for me. A gorl was there to help otherwise would have walked out without my stuff

I hate the chaotic layout and centre checkouts. It was a much better store before the reorganisation. Stationery choices were disappointing : part of a plot to force people to Office works? Sorry, I declare Big W the winner of back to school sales! So much is cheap'n 'nasty or no longer carried. Still disappointed in this review update. So much that used to be available isn't now. A wasted visit.

Was looking for kids PJs and was a bit disappointed by the range and price for boys. I Have been to this store many times, however was surprised at how messy it was, stock all over the place shelves not stocked and price tags hard to find....no bags left at the checkout, l have noticed a progressive decline in the presentation of the store, avalible staf to help and check out wait times.....

Went to the shop to buy something got to the check out asked the girl if there was anyone on the till to pay for my stuff her response woth all the people working there, there was no one that could serve me in the actual till. Obviously they don’t train there staff on how to use the till anymore they expect you to do there jobs at “self serve” I just left my stuff there and walked out.

Poor customer Service Last week put my kids bike for repair under warranty. Haven't heard anything from last 10 days and call myself so Management says its fixed so you can pick it up. Drive all the way down 15klms to store they bring some one else bike and here is your bike. I explain to them iys not mine and after 10 minutes they found my bike havent being touch for repairs. Senior supervisor at checkout needs training on their price match policy. First tried to convince me there they dont do it so had to show it from their web page. Second tried to convince me it was a different product even though the model from Big W clearly matched the product I was purchasing. The junior cashier who first served me was apologetic even though it wasn't his fault.

Kmart Chermside did not have the Ebony memory foam bathmat I was after, to the young worker with the almost “mullet cut” please do not take offence, did not get your name, stopped what he was doing and grabbed stock from out the back approx 9:05am 13/8. You deserve a payrise mate!!! I thought customer service is dissapearing, you have changed my view on that!!! Thanks. Aaron.

Very very disappointed with the manager..ASTRID wh was very rude to my husband and son when they went to return the fishing rod that had broken while they were using it for the first time. I love Kmart I went after work to buy a couple of items and have a look around. Kmart has everything you need for around the house including clothing,electrical ,kitchen, and even toys for the kids.The Hyper Market at Aspley has plenty of parking good food court there is a Woolworths and a Coles there too. I would recommend the Hyper Market to everyone.

Bought a new microwave from kmart and a bunch on clothes. To be honest kmart is my favourite place to shop. It really does have everything and I am extremely impressed with the quality of all of their products and especially me new microwave which was rated better than a $1200 miele for only $99 by choice magazine. You honestly can't argue with that!

Like going here to shop. Always clean have never seen it any other way. Good parking and a good variety of shops to choose from. The food court is not massive but still a good range of thing to eat and drink. Is starting to get very busy leading up to Christmas. Parking was scarce today 22 Dec but did not take long to find a place.

There click and collect needs a bit of work I ordered a toddle learning stand, now this weighs 10-16kg there is a label on the box stating caution ⚠️ This was given to me to carry when it should have been bought out to me in a trolly (as sometimes trollys aren't available) Not everyone is young and fit and able to carry these items

No staff at menswear, No staff at checkouts and for a while no staff at self service. And even then compulsory self service checkouts shut down twice. So we don't need a calculator to figure out how many minus stars that is do we? But there are plenty of good things to buy at very reasonable prices. Still hate the payment options

Your typical Kmart, with friendly staff and a very large selection of various household items, clothes, as well as stationery and simple electronics. If you need something that you can’t find at another shop then Kmart will most likely have it hidden away somewhere on the shelves or in metal containers scattered across the store.

Staff were very helpful, I phoned the day before I went in to ask if they could put aside an item for me, so I could collect it the next day. The lady was very helpful and it's wasn't too much of a fuss for her to go and grab the item and 'put it out the back' for me. Definately great customer service on the phone and in person.

Faulty machine charged me twice for around $200 each, so $200 stolen, i haven't heard back from the manager here since the company took my money. (Its been a whole week) with them telling me they'll ring me, me going in and asking only to be told the manager isnt there that day. Inflation is insane and id like my money back.

Excellent. When lookingfor a car cover, I was impressed that they had samples so that you're able to actually feel the material used. This was especially important as I needed the material that came in contact with my much-loved car to be soft. Autobarn is a step ahead of the other competitors for this reason today!

I asked her where the mens clothing was she was like “not that hard to guess cant you read its in big writing on the walls” then walked away and pretended I never asked. First time I ever been at this store and it have the boxer shorts I wanted but unfortunately it had a push bike on the take but none in stock, and they said they not getting that bike but they also wouldn't sell the floor stock that was the last one at the shop. I find another bike at K-Mart.

New layout is confusing and fragmented. Worse than IKEA. Need a map to find anything and menswear is not all together. And then the pay station is in the middle. Used to love going to Kmart. I now save money each week as I only go in when I cannot find what I need anywhere else. FAIL KMART.

Went the weekend before Christmas and boy was it busy. Lovely staff and shelves were still well stocked. Didn't actually buy anything because you all know how long those Kmart lines can get. Especially that time of year. No Pokemon cards but who does have them in stock these days.

What a shambles Kmart’s online shopping is. I’ve made 9 purchases all of which stated in stock and 6 have been refunded due to no stock taking ages for money to be returned. Shop in store only with Kmart; they clearly have no idea how to run an online business or manage inventory!

It's just your average Kmart store. Lots of staff here, but they're all young kids who seemingly do not know where anything is. The store is also a mess. They never seem to have anything in stock despite the fact online says they do. The middle cash registers are also horrible.

Always a friendly and helpful team there. Set out is similar to most other Kmarts which is useful when searching for something that you're used to looking for. Plenty of stock but it's best to order some items online for click and collect as their shelf stock sells fast.

I drove for half an hour to get here to only look at the shirts I want from a distance. There were unpacked racks covering the menswear area the shirts and shorts on the racks were in a mess you could not tell what was what. Total waste.of time.

What a wide variety of things available here! Mainly household goods etc When this space was the Aspley hyper market you could have got lawnmower s and concrete mixers etc ! But not now! The Sardi were very friendly but there’s not many of them

I had a trolley full of stuff I was going to buy. Until I saw there was a gigantic line of people with only TWO people working at the check out less than a WEEK BEFORE CHRISTMAS! What the??? Make it inconvenient to shop there & I won't. Simple.

Good but found staff couldn't identify a stool I was after asked the young staff and they said "some time the system says we have it but we dont" but found the stool just round the corner. I think the young staff need more training and patience

Staff not very nice. Old lady at self check out never had a smile on and always seem to be in a mad mood. They force you to use self check out but don't guide ppl well. waiting in line when 4 machines available n only 2 ppl in front of me

It used to be better before they changed the layout of the store. Going to the middle of the store for the checkouts seems silly to me as you then have to have someone on the door check your receipt and goods on the way out.

Nice store. Had to wait 5 mins for someone to serve me at Click and Collect, tho I was first in line. Staff had back to me and didn't check anyone was there, took phone calls instead. Prompt service once they realised.

It's convenient for me as it is close by to where i live. It is a nice KMart shop and you can get all that KMart normally sell here. It also has a homely feeling compared to other KMarts, i'd add.

As a suburb is split in two by Gympie road. It has a lot of multi unit dwellings as well as houses. Anchored by a Large Hypermarket with Aldi Kmart woolies and a Coles. It is also a Bus Hub.

Love Kmart, the store looks amazing now that the refurb is completed. Just need to relearn the store lol. They have a whole new range and it's easy to find a worker to help out when needed.

Probably the best McDonalds in the state, i love burgers. They gave me the best haircut i have ever got and the display beds are comfy.
