I randomly selected this store while waiting for my car to be serviced. Googled Hairdressers in Westfield Blacktown & their name was first on the list. Gave them a call. Spoke to Sophie who turned out to be my hairstylist for the day. Requested wash, cut and blowdry. On arrival I had my hair washed by apprentice, Jonathan - who I must add.. did such a great job washing my hair..massaging scalp..asking if water temp was ok. Really impressed. Ive never had my hair washed by a male hair apprentice ever. 10 stars to that young man. I would describe my hair as curly islander, "coconut huskyhair" so washing my hair..you need to get wolverines claws in for me to feel anything on my scalp. Well done Jonathan. Overall I had a great experience and so very happy with my hair. I walked into the salon looking absolutely hideous because I had cut my own hair.. it had grown to different lengths ..tragic mess in a bun. I needed a rescue and this was a spontaneous decision to go visit a hairdresser. Sophie was awesome!! 10 10 10!! I left the salon happy. THANK YOU SOPHIE AND JONATHAN!! I must say that after researching for a good hair salon in the area, I came across La Rells and I am so glad to have experienced their services with the help of such reviews. I took my 65+ year old mother to have her hair done at this salon. I took an old photo of her and showed it to them and asked if they could recreate that hairstyle as it was a much loved look on her. To my surprise, they gave her the look that far exceeded my expectations considering the fact her hair had thinned out so much over the course of the years and with all the grey-colouring damage. They gave her back her confidence...they made her hair feel healthy again. She truly cannot thank them enough for their warm gestures and professional service. They made her feel welcomed from the moment she walked in! I must highly recommend this place including the hairstylist TRINA who really brought out the woman in her and gave her such a gorgeous restyle. I shall be coming here again to do my own hair in a couple of months. THANK YOU TRINA and THANK YOU LA RELLS! I feel this is a beginning of a beautiful relationship <3

First time coming here and I had a lovely hairdresser named Lina and the most amazing time I've ever had at a hairdresser. Firstly, they charged me about half of what my usual salon were going to charge. Most importantly to me my wonderful hairdresser could not have tried any harder to give me exactly what I was coming in to get done to my hair. It was perfect, she made sure every step of the way that things were going well and she seemed to almost make it harder on herself even offering to tone my hair down twice just to see if we liked the colour first and then again if we didn't. I have never had my hair done so exactly perfectly how I asked it to be done and to be comforted and asked every step along the way if everything was okay was just a splendid time even though it was a huge job. It could not have been any better then it was and if I could give more stars I would!! Thank you so much!!

I would rather give 0 stars. I got my keratin done just before i was travelling to my home country. The lady told me it will last 12 washes atleast with the shampoo they asked me to buy from their store. I paid $350 for the whole including shampoo and conditioner and keratin treatment. After a week almost, i did first wash(as they asked me to keep it as long as i can) and guess what my hair just went like before or even worse than before (mindful i have really curly hair). I asked the lady many times if it will stay! How long it will stay. She sold me this package. After i went to india, i got keratin done there for mere rs. 3000 which is Aud 60. And 10 washes till now… my hair are as smooth as day 1. Do not trust these people. Money extortion shop.

Best colouring experience to date! I have thick, black, Asian hair and am so happy with my results. I went with low maintenance ash balayage- half head of foils, root smudge and a treatment for a great price. Had a very informative consultation first. The colourist was very understanding and easy to work with. Prices are very clear and reasonable. Covid safe- chic clear glass panels separating all clients at the chair and the basin. Happy staff, candles and chill music warming the space. The hairdressing basin is so comfy I fell asleep (I usually get bad neck pain in others). Great hair colouring TV channel. Thank you to everyone who took care of me today. I feel so pretty with my new 'do. See you for my toner in a month!

Came here on a whim. Asked for half-a-head of foils & blow dry. Was quoted $325! I questioned the quote as I thought it was too expensive (much more than I usually pay). The hairdresser suggested I get half-a-head of foils only, for $160! She also went on to explain how top-quality the salon is... I agreed to just the foils (not sure what the other $165 covered... one very pricey blow dry?) What I received was a pretty average foil job, something that I am not happy with, & should have cost far less. Businesses should charge the customer reasonably, & if they promise an excellent service; they should deliver. I feel that neither of these things happened.

My mum and I came here to get our hair washed and cut. I had a nice experience the lady that did my hair was super friendly and ensured that I was happy with everything however the lady that did my mums hair was quite rude. I was surprised when my mum finished a lot earlier than me and when I asked her why afterwards I found out that the lady doing her hair was reluctant to do a wash and cut. Instead she just did a blow dry and trim which cost $40. It was even styled very nicely it was blow dried back so it looked like she had a mullet. My mum was too nice to ask her to redo it and it makes me really upset that she didn’t have a pleasant experience.

Was so delighted once again. I've been going to La Rells Blacktown now for close to a year and I can't believe I haven't gone sooner. I always see Stephen and he is just a magician with what he does. Not only does he put so much care and creativity in his work, he is always so kind and funny to interact with. Every time I go I remember why I love going. I have full trust in everything Stephen does with my hair that by now I roughly state what I want and wait to be more than amazed. Shan is also such a lovely worker who is so genuine and talking with her is effortless. If you want more than just a haircut, go to La Rells.

My daughter had a haircut done by a lady with purple hair. It wasn't cut correctly and then tried to say it was my daughters fault because she slightly moved her head. My daughter is 13 years old and understands not to move while getting her haircut. This lady was extremely rude to my younger son and not only that they charged me $65 for a basic haircut. My daughters hair is ruined and we had no apology and no discount. I will never come back here and will tell everybody i know not too as well. Still waiting for the call. Been almost a week.

Awful place if you like your hair DO NOT GO Here, horrible staff got headache for 4 days after what should have been a simple quick haircut. Hairdresser (not sure if even qualified) pulled and pulled my hair so much I have never experienced this in my entire life, when I mentioned I was not happy she got aggited and still could not get it right! Still had to pay rude awful staff very dirty salon was worried about the non existant hygiene standards. Would give -20 star rating if I could.

As usual Mei did an absolutely stunning job on my hair, her attention to detail is outstanding. I had half head foils & toner, cut & blow dry. The results are perfect as usual, I highly recommend her & this salon. My daughter has her hair done by Mei too & gets brilliant results. I'm unsure why others have left negative feedback about Mei? She has never been anything but kind & gentle with us & delivers exactly what we ask for every time! Thank you Mei

Ambience was good and relaxing! I just called them up for an appointment today itself and they were too kind to accomodate my within an hour! i got my hair coloured ( Balyage) cut & blow dry done by Rènèè and i’m so happy with my new hair! she is just amazing, patiently answered all my questions and suggested me some cool vibrant colour option and i really love to see the results! Nice interior. That's about it. They have been open in the centre for years and would think with the amount of years it has been open, comes experience. Nope! Disappointed with my cut and color and to be charged with such ridiculous amount was a joke. Color wasn't even the color I wanted, may be better lighting in the salon wouldve helped. Do not go there. It's a waste of your money and time.

Went to La Rells a couple weeks ago to have my hair coloured, highlighted and cut. I can say the service was amazing, the stylist I worked with was super professional while we discussed what I had in mind for my hair. I loved the way my hair looked as I left, and definitely recommend La Rells foranyone who is uncertain where to go ! I will definitely be coming back :)

I had a lovely experience today getting my hair dyed and cut / washed, I believe the lady that helped me today was Mei, along with another lady and they were kind as well as accomodating. They went the extra mile to ensure there was no dye staining my skin which I appreciate, and were meticulous and professional. Thank you! Will be coming back for future appointments.

Friendly staff. Great hair washing service. However, didn’t get what I asked for with the haircut/style. I kept mentioning layers but all I got was one layer other than the general length, right near the ends. I wondered if she knew how to do layers. Usually razor cut technique is used. The lady also didn’t check lengths on each side prior to finishing. Not worth $70.

I had my hair cut at La Rells for the first time this Saturday. I found them to be highly professional, friendly and organised. My hairdresser was Stephen, he was fantastic. I was not happy with some extensions I had done at another hairdresser. He cut and styled which improved how my hair looked 100%. I have finally found a great salon and hairdresser.

I use to go to Larells until they moved and have been looking for them for so long cause they were a really good hairdresser. I recently found them again and the service is still great, products are quality. The store overall is just pure quality. They care about their customers. Money well spent. I'll be going there now since I've found them again.

I went to in based on the google reviews and I'm so glad I did. I wanted something very drastic so it was quite scary, Linda helped me decide on the right cut, I basically copied her hair, and the result was awesome. Really lovely staff and a very beautiful salon, would highly recommend

Came here with my sister whose hair was all matted and close to the scalp, she was a little embarassed to go to a hair salon; HOWEVER, Kate and Trina were amazing! My sister felt comfortable, I had a cut which i was satisfied with and they were very friendly! I am def coming back!!!

The keratin here does not work so I don’t recommend it but their service is good with colour, hair wash and looking after you If you want keratin or a professional blow dry this is not the place For colour yes! Normal treatment, cut and freshening up

I got a cut, wash and blow dry by a lady called May at Westpoint Blacktown today. Her customer service was poor and unfriendly. She tried to blow dry my hair without a brush and found she was trying to rush and seemed like she didn’t really

Avoid going to this place if you can.. my wife took daughter for a hair cut.. paid 30$ for an awful looking trimming.. no direction no proper cut .. no alignment.. I suggest please say clear cut No if you can not deliver quality work ..

The stylist did an excellent job with my hair! The only reason for 1 less star is because a week ago, I had been quoted $165 - $175 for the hair cut and color... but I got charged $220. Other than that, loved how it turned out. :)

Phyliss is great with her treatments i would highly recommend seeing their beautician, if you go in mention that me Shikha Chandra mentioned she was brilliant.
