I walked into the salon with natural dark brown waist length thin & damaged hair. At the reception i did not have to wait long, as staff nearest to me, beckoned me to come closer to where she was attending to client already & asked what i needed. Usually at other hair salons, staff who are attending customers already don't bother asking what you need, whether they are free or not for today to take on more walk in clients, instead ignore you & leave you waiting at the reception desk for 20min! Shilan, the hairdresser recommended fiberglass hair mask treatment & also did full hair color. I had asked her to dye my hair red as bright as possible, without using bleach. The result was amazing! i have dyed my hair red previously, but had not achieved such intensity & glow in my hair as ever before. My hair no longer had flyways, it was glowing & looked so beautiful. It's perfection almost looked surreal, like I was wearing a wig, as real hair can't be that flawlessly perfect silky & glowing. The best part is that they did not achieve the flawless hair quality look by straitening my hair, just the hair mask & color booster in my hair dye alone was sufficient to bring outstanding results. Then i had another staff, trim my hair & choose a fringe which really suited my face shape. Thank you, Lavish Hair Team for looking after me so well, as i wear a hijab, so you had made the effort to provide a portable privacy screen throughout the entire service, of me being there. :-) Lavish Hair salon is my all time go back to place, whenever I may be in need of hair service, every year from now on!

THE OWNER OVERCHARGES YOU ONCE STARTED THE WORK The owner of this salon the lady with red hair, is very bad mannered and rude. If I could I will give zero point .My mother and I had an appointment and they gave us quotes before we sat, While doing the work, this lady told us that they cannot do the style I want and they said that I will only curl half of your hair and charge double the price for the whole hair. She did the same thing for my mum hair colour. But before starting the work, she told me a lower price and the same issue happened to my mother. So my suggestion is to check the price first and show your hair because I think this is a trick to double charge the customer. The curl is dropped and opened after an hour. This lady was very rude while doing the work and because I had complained why they didn't tell me the exact price at first. she was very rude and didn't curl my hair completely and in the end she told me I didn't like it to do your hair because you are from the same country as I am(you can guess how rude she is)and I shouldn't have accepted your job. I was very angry but I didn't answer because I just wanted to run away from that salon. I wonder how a salon with this kind of customer service is still in business.

I came on the 18th of January around 4:00 and left at 5:30! Why is that? That is because the 2 women left to take care of the store we’re useless and unprofessional one didn’t know how to cut hair and the other only knows how to talk big! I asked to get my hair cut underneath the chest and bangs to frame my face! Instead the women cut my hair to my shoulder unevenly and ruined my bangs!! If you want to have beautiful hair I highly recommend not to go to that salon because they only ruin your hair! I was charged $30 before the hair cut began! It’s not about the money but about what they have done too my hair! They rushed with cutting my hair because they wanted to leave 30 minutes before closing time, a women with black hair and a girl wearing a brown LV mask these two are the hairdressers which ruined my hair! Where was the boss Vicky?! She left because she didn’t want to stay at work and left highly unprofessional women to cut my hair and other peoples hair! This is the worst place to go and get your hair cut! Take advice from me, because this review is written by personal experience!

Worst place please dont bring your kids here! Specially if they suffer any mental health issues! My daughter 13 years old came here to get a cut she had a picture of the cut she wanted she suffers anxiety and minor ptsd! The cut they done was not what she wanted! She started crying uncontrollably the hairdressers offered no remedy or possible solution to help rectify the situation all she done was yell obscenities we refused to pay as she refused to offer any solution mean while my daughter physically and emotionally in uncontrollable tears, which they did not care! The lady said she doesnt care and that my daughter was a stupid girl! She kept yelling and then grabbed my daughters arm as i try to remove my daughter from the toxic place because my daughter suffers ptsd and her yelling triggered my daughters anxiety, she wouldnt let go which i had to forcefully release her hand from my daughters arm! The entire situation that happened there was outrageous and not something anyone should have had to endure especially my daughter! Please stay away!

I have never been humiliated and embarrassed in my experience at a salon ever but this particular salon. All I keep hearing is “omg your hair is so thick” “I’ve seen thick before but not this thick” constantly with the staff INFRONT of everyone in the salon, I broke down I said thanks for making me embarrassed infront of all these people. She said I’m so sorry if I’ve offended you it’s a “good thing” when she knows it’s not. I’ve been to other salons and they’ve done my hair properly no complaints, this one is the owner herself but she couldn’t even handle my hair she just kept adding more costs cause my hair was too thick. What business person/owner does that? Arent you supposed to make your customers feel comfortable and not judge or humiliate them infront of other customers? Super unhappy. I’ve been here a few times but this time I’ve had it. Never going back again. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Worst service ever!!!!!

Very very unprofessional! My sister got her hair done there and paid $850!! They ripped her off $280 for 2 heads of extensions and a treatment, than tried telling her she was lying maybe she brought a hair pack of shampoo because that’s $99, than they counted her hair extension pieces to make sure there was 2 heads not 3, than we had got told to come back the following day because she needed to speak to the person who had done her hair, than we come back and they said she did over charge and that the girl doesn’t work there anymore but they can offer a credit for extension retightening and blow dry, but a fullset of extensions is $260? Lol don’t go here!! They rip you than try rip you again!!!NOT HAPPY oh and charging a 10% surcharge for using Afterpay also! When afterpay doesn’t charge their customers surcharges only the business 4.2%

Very disappointing experience. When I came home from the hairdresser my husband asked me if I only had half my hair coloured. Than only I saw that back part of my hair had no stricks. I asked the lady at the hairdresser's to do 10 foils but I think I got reaped off and got only 6 foils done and no stricks at the back part of the hair. The stricks which are done are not done evenly too. I got my hair trimmed as well, it was ok. When coming to pay the lady said it was $85. I always pay $75 which includes colour and blow dry and trimming. I asked her why I was being charged $85. She said for styling. What styling???. Blow drying and trimming??? Sorry but not wasting my time and money on such places. Not going there again, I don't think you deserve any star.

I absolutely could not believe the way the staff treated each other. A Full on domestic happened between two staff members, because of one not paying the staff money, as well as not sweeping the floor when asked, as well as many other reasons — which they then yelled at each other in front of all the customers numerous times telling the whole story, and making a client actually walk out and leave, as well as ending in one of the girls having to call the police on their own staff member. Both staff members where as bad as each other, carrying on. If this was going to happen, they should of left it at home. Made me feel super uncomfortable and unsafe. Would not recommend this place to anyone and will not be returning. Soooo unprofessional.

I have paid more than $200 for Brazilian Keratin treatment. Price would have been good but there are problems now after 2 weeks. Even if I washed my hair just twice a week and only on the 4th day after the treatment and used this expensive $90 charcoal products with mask and everything, my hair now is already frizzy, not that soft, ends look dry and rebel. Like a keratin treatment hasn't been done at all. I'm even loosing more hair than normal specially in the shower. Other places told me a keratin treatment takes around at least 2-3h to be done, why my treatment was just 30min then? Results are not as they should be.. Not as this saloon promised me What's your reply please ?

Will not be going back, it took 3 hours to get a colour,cut and blow dry i also got chemical burns from the colour being left on too long even after i told the girl that i had sensitive scalp i told her i needed it washed off strait away as it was left on for 50 minutes and my skin started burning.then tried to get the excess dye of my face rubbing quite vigorously using an alcohol based substance which started burning.i was left waiting while the girl washing the dye from her bosses hair when the salon was packed . I had to go th the doctors as my chemical burns got infected and was put on 2 courses of antibotics

I got 4 foil and full color from lavish hair. And fibre lock treatment. They didn’t full color properly( grey hairs can be seen), foils are only shown on tops, at ends it’s not visible. And with fibre lock treatment, hair are too frizzy (without fibre lock , it was more fine) I went there and show all these, first they said, they will do all colour and treatment again. And after few minutes they said, you have to pay again. Coz 5 days left. It’s very unprofessional behaviour and services. I report a complaint lodger against that lady who did this. No one call me even. I will never go there again.

I bought my daughter here in may 2022 as she wanted her hair bright red, they told me to have it that colour it’s going to cost $250 so I agreed, they didn’t mention that the price was with out a cut or blow dry, an when I paid with after pay I paid $400, but the colour wasn’t the colour that my daughter asked for, I should have learnt my lesson from the first time, as this isn’t the first time that they have ripped me off, I have both my Afterpay past payments for this hair salon, they need to train there employees probably or pay from there trying

Giving a 2 for effort not the worst place I've been to but definitely not the best. Had highlights done on my natural dark brown hair, I was honestly happy with the colour however 5 hours was far to long for the outcome of my hair. Most of the time I was waiting for someone to come & check my hair as I was waiting at the sink basin for almost an hour while they worked on other customers. Besides that, very friendly staff, could do with paying more attention to the customer's you already have in your salon rather than over loading yourselves.

To start with their staff are very professional and well trained. Melissa was an absolute pleasure to deal with she is a gem took her time on my hair. The owner Vicky is nice too as she acknowledged the voucher I bought in October to use yesterday. She was very supportive of her staff as it took a while to do the full head foils and keratin they were welcoming. The Indian girl who did my blow dry & iron was amazing worker as l woke up this morning with fabulous hair. I recommend them 100% and definitely worth a try. Will be going back.

Came to get my hair done on my birthday 13/7/22, took a long time felt like forever.But you know what the guy who does hair in this salon is amazing, I was just tried and frustrated about how long i sat there for it ,but that doesn't excuse my judgements And I'm truly sorry but I would definitely recommend going early or booking in with him he is wonderful and the staff are to just took 3 hours most of 3 hours of my bday and well that was the only thing I was upset about anyway ways great foils and turned out great loved it actually

I recently went to donate my hair and chop off about 3/4 of my total length. I got told 2 different prices by different people - the first person agreed to a price as they didn't seem to have a fixed rate, and then after I got my hair cut, the second person increased it. It was a small difference so I just paid. When I got home I noticed about 3-4 different lengths in my hair (I just wanted a straight cut). I cut some of the longer bits myself at home and waiting for the rest to grow out so I can go back to my usual guy.

Thanks to Sheldon for my beautifully styled long layers. Its obvious thats she's very experienced since she asks questions along the way and, as a result I was extremely pleased with the end result - no fix ups at all! She and Ramona knew how to work with my hair and for the ocassion. This salon is probably one of best in Mount Druitt for me - they care for their customers and actually give you a fair wait time (which is rare in the post covid lockdown rush).

My mum had a 10am appointment today for a cut and colour.........she left the salon at 2.20pm. She was sitting at the basin for at least 1 hour waiting for the colour to be washed out. She is 84 years old and ended up with a sore neck from being at the basin for such a long time. She wasn't sure whether to go back after her last appointment as she had a similar experience but after today there is no way she will be returning to this salon.

Over priced, over charged, adds on charges that were not discussed or advised. Lady that did my friend's hair was rude, had attitude towards both staff and customers. Will definitely not be going back there, also don't go there if you want to afterpay.... They will charge you a 10% surcharge. Only positive was the gentlemen that did my hair, thank you Raymond, you did a great job and you're a lovely person.

Let’s say a friend worked here, they use dirty towels that have been used on other peoples hairs that have dried their hair and been there to pick up the hair die if I falls on a shirt, they use those towels wet them put them in a microwave to heat it up for product to sit there, so the bacteria will go on your hair, also unclean and so un-hygienic would have rated it a 0 if I could

I went to this salon to do my hair. I thought I will do 10 foil toner, treatments, style cut and blow dry. The lady told She will charge me $260.00 for this on the serve pamphlet show there will charge $75.00. I’m very disappointed. Even with hair treatments , styling and blowing dry she charges me $100. When I do my hair in Blacktown I don’t get ripped off like this.

I would stay miles away from this place ladies, my wife went there to get a half head of blonde foils and walked out with ORANGE hair, when we debated the finished product we were more or less told bad luck , we argued more and ended up getting $30 back from $150 , also their Eftpos never seems to work, which to me says they are tax evaders. BE WARNED LADIES

Somewhat happy with hair, but wanted to pay with card but eftpos not working, was asked to leave my phone behind as security, but i saw several people get a service and werent asked to leave something behind to go get money out, WHY WAS I ASKED when atm literally next door, if eftpos not working you should inform clients before starting any service.

Went in for a cut, got a trim and my hair was frizzy and dry and they cut it without applying anything. Got home and straighten my hair and to no surprise it’s uneven. Worst !!!! They didn’t even style it after and literally took 5 mins. The place wasn’t busy staff was walking around talking, never again!

Went in for a cut and colour (no highlights) took 2 and a half hours! the lady got the dye all over my clothes and skin. I went 40min overtime with the dye in my hair! and she made me lay in the washing basin for 45 min! my neck was so sore I had pins and needles! Worst hairdresser I have ever been to!

Went in to get my hair cut, the owner cut my hair , was happy with it when I left , but when I got home I noticed she cut my crooked , and my curtain bangs , the right side is way shorter then the left. Would not recommend this place at all.

Horrible. Asked for a balayage and got something completely different. Parts of my hair are different colours and not done properly at all. Too rushed and they weren’t even busy. Don’t recommend.

The only thing I have to say is don't hack someone's hair if you dont know how to cut a certain style, dont do it and just tell the client you don't know how to. There is no shame in being honest
