I had a disappointing experience at this bottle shop. The staff seemed quite indifferent and lacked knowledge about their own products. I purchased an item and, within a few minutes, requested a return and, consequently, a refund, only to be told it was impossible without a print receipt. Even with a transaction proof on my phone banking, it was deemed invalid. In an age where printed receipts are becoming less common, it's frustrating that they can't access the purchase in their computer history to issue a new receipt or a refund. This should be a straightforward consumer right! I expressed these concerns to the staff member, but it seemed to fall on deaf ears. Customer service here leaves much to be desired. If you're buying alcohol, I'd recommend heading downstairs to the more welcoming and friendly Liquor Emporium at Marrickville Metro. They offer a wider selection, better prices, and a more hospitable team.
