I recently dined at Loosie's Diner and it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. I will give the 5 stars as the service was excellent. Highly attentive without being disruptive. I like the fact that there aren't that may tables so it is very cosy. Food: over all the quality of the food was great. We had a small tenders, the slaw (which was amazing), Buffalo Buger for the boy wonder, the wife had the Buttermilk chicken cheeseburger, and I had the Hawaiian Bryan Buger (my all time favourite combo now), we also had two serves of chips. For desert we tried the brownie, again it was amazing, and thr special Mars Bar cheesecake, the boy wonder polished that off quick smart. The only con I have for this experience is the serving size of the sides. I don't mind paying separate for burgers, but $7 for a handful (and what seemed a teenage size hand) of chips and the same for the slaw. I just expected more in the serving size for the price. Over all I/we will be returning, it was a great bday dinner for me. Love a great burger. Tha k you very much.

What a great new place to get a burger if you are lucky enough to be in the area. We ordered delivery on fathers day and picked a delivery window and true to form a gent turned up in his van with a unexpected complimentary bottle of fathers day wine and our burgers in hand bang in the window requested. As a fellow reviewer said there are already a few good options in Mornington for a great burger but Loosies stood out for us and were a no brainer given they deliver to Mount martha where the others 'good' ones simply do not. We over-ordered doubles with a side of Fries and their buttermilk tenders with pickles and chipotle. The fries were good but I suspect would be crispier if dining in. The burgers were great, the patties were juicy and this is likely a result of the mix of great beef and brisket. The buttermilk chicken tenders were so moist and succulent and when coupled with a bite of pickle and a daub of the sauce, Heaven! Well done Loosies, we will be back for sure!

I love a classic diner but it’s not easy to do them well in Australia. We have a few in Melbourne but this was a delightful surprise! I’d heard about Loosie’s through Instagram and finally got an opportunity to go. It didn’t disappoint. The burgers are super tasty but not too big/filling. I had room for a delicious dessert special of peanut butter cheesecake - so good! This is not only the kind of diner for a great meal but also a fun night out for a few drinks. It goes beyond the novelty of a US-inspired restaurant to be a genuinely cool bar you want to hang out in. Great drink selection, friendly & attentive staff, and a great atmosphere with classic rock tunes. I’ll be back for sure! I’d also love to see a few all-day breakfast items for the lunch menu.

After supporting Wowee Zowee's for years, it heartened me greatly to see this little offshoot of their brand, Loosie's Diner. Well, Father's Day arrived and being under lockdown, one of the positives is some of the delivery food that is available in our area. So on the phone we got and ordered a bunch of burgers, some wine and loaded fries. Everything was excellent, from the service to the food. I forgot to order the wine on the internet so I rang them and they included the wine along with a lovely complimentary bottle for Father's Day troubles. The buns are high quality, clearly fresh and definitely delicious. Might be potato based? The meat patties are of the highest standard. Not dry either. The cheeses used in the loaded fries were excellent and even the gravy was top notch. Thanks so much to Kylie (?) I hope I got the name right, your helpfulness and outright good cheer really made our night. This definitely wont be our last order.

Ok I will open with, we only came in for drinks but what an experience. Could not have been more happy with the the service we received. All the people behind the bar were flat out due to the amount of people who were in the place, but they were continually prompt and professional. Drinks were delicious and the people were a 10. We're coming back for food and bevs. This could genuinely be the place we go to hang out! Super impressed do far! 10/10. I dunno something about tasty bevs, served with a smile and some personality that just makes the whole experience elite. Well done fam! We appreciate you. Edit. I have eaten here now. We came in with two kids under 5 and we’re made to feel right at home with a high chair ready, colouring sheets provided and lots of interaction between the staff and the kids. Everyone here was in a good mood - staff and diners - which makes a big difference.

First time but not the last. This is the first place (when going out with 11 people) that absolutely everyone was happy with there meal. Very enjoyable.

A small restaurant with a HUGE personality, tucked away in an unexpected part of Mornington. Booking essential! We sat at the bar as a couple and were happy to watch the bar tender and have a chat. Larger groups would need a table. Delicious diner food - simple with generous portions and pricing. Cocktail menu offers something unique whilst a little pricier than other places (possibly the only downside). Love the vintage vibe, friendly staff and good tunes. Will be back to eat here and recommend to others.

Family friendly rock'n'roll diner. Fantastic, friendly, attentive staff. The tenders were honestly the best I've ever eaten, the perfect balance of crispy coating and tender meat. The Mac n cheese burger was so, so, so good. Fries and salad to round things out. My husband had a pickle back and a beer, I had a delicious creamy soda. Finished off with apple pie fresh out of the oven. The diner of my dreams.

Amazing food. Atmosphere is fantastic and makes you feel great. Cocktails and beers with a wide selection. All the staff are great and the hosts are so welcoming. Have to book to make sure you get a booth. We walked in and sat at the bar and watched what went on. Basic chips and gravy were magic They made us feel like locals. Everyone got the same experience. If your in the area, this place is a must.

Loved our Saturday night dinner - every member of our family very happy. Great selection of burgers and sides and delivered piping hot and right on time by a super friendly delivery guy. We really look forward to visiting the restaurant when we can. Highly recommend.

Best burger I've had in Mornington. There's some good burgers in town but this is my new favourite. Booked in for delivery during lockdown 6.0 and it came right within the 15 minute window I booked. Will be ordering again and can't wait to go and dine in.

The food is amazing. Service is fast and friendly. I personally can have some sensory issues with bars and diners, but this place was so welcoming and lovely that I never had an issue. Definetly will be returning! I can't recommend this place enough.

We LOVE Loosie's! Family dinners, late night drinks, my husbands fortieth. Loosie's is where you want to be. The decor rocks, Kylie, Clint and the staff are so welcoming and the Loosie's burger is the perfect balance of soft bun, meat and sauce.
