On Saturday my friends and I went to LA lounge for some drinks in the AMs. I have been there once before and had a pleasant experience so I actually recommended my friends to meet up there. At the end of the night when they closed at around 3:30am we decided to head home only to be heavily disrespected and verbally abused by the bouncers. We were quite a big group so we waited outside for our Ubers and the bouncers started being aggressive and asking us to get away from the entrance. We politely complied and stood to the side however they still were not happy and decided to threaten us and use racist comments. We were only waiting for our Uber and did not cause any problems? The manager came outside and started insulting us too, saying things like “I’m going poes you chinas” which is honestly so disgusting and racist. The bouncer than proceded to say that we are all going to “die like chickens”. Would never ever recommend this place to anyone, absolutely disgusting service and racist workers there. Funniest part was that there was literally other groups of people waiting outside the entrance but they did not receive any comments or threats from the bouncers.
Phoned earlier as wanted a special night out with my wife as needed to switch off, got there at 10pm to be told they not ready djs are not even here yet cool so went to look for something to do found a lovely place but as i heard of LA lounge on the radio months ago I wanted to experience it. As we approached the club the first bouncer was very hostile towards us, asking about our booking and told me that I spoke to the cleaner then another bouncer came asking for R100 each to enter. When I had called earlier, they said no entry fee for a couple and as I asked him this his whole tone changed as if he was picking a fight. I know better than to waist my time arguing with a chicken brain so we left quite disappointed as we were looking forward to a good hip hop evening but what a disappointment and they lost out as we do spend when we get a chance to get out. Anyway I will never recommend this place and I work in hospitality dealing with loads of visitors to our beautiful country but this place
LA lounge is a DRUG den!! I commented on the one instagram post of theirs saying “drug den” and Ofcource I got blocked. They know exactly what’s going on in there and actually the management is behind it all (name of owner is Ayman Chaudhry)!! And to top it off they are VERY RACIST towards people of colour unless you Indian!!!Really sad and would avoid at ALL costs.
The place amazing also the crew was amazing. Also the manager was wonderful. It’s good experience I want to take the manager and the crew for the good behaviour and the way they treat us

Bouncers were rude the entire night and service girls were getting irritated with us for doing their job and charged us twice for stuff we already paid for.
