A very peaceful place. There weren't many visitors, and those who were there, maintained the peaceful sanctity of the surroundings. There is a walkway all around the pond and one can actually sit peacefully in a corner without disturbing anyone nor being disturbed by anyone. It's open for a very short duration in the evenings nowadays, only from 4 - 6 pm. It's also open for a few hours in the morning hours 6 - 10 am, I think. The pond is actually quite large and was full of water. There were a lot of birds at 4 pm on the Sunday evening I visited, but capturing then in a picture was difficult. There were absolutely no lotuses that I could see, perhaps there is a season for them. There weren't many flowers except the ubiquitous Bougainville one finds all over the country. The place is as green as can be and a soothing sight for sore eyes.

Lotus pond, Hyderabad: A cosy waterbody, close to Apollo Hospital, Jubilee Hills, is in existence since 2001 and maintained by GHMC. Surrounded by lush green trees, this has a 1.2 km walking path. It’s home to many species of birds, fish, tortoises and varieties of flora. The south-western part of it hosts a rocky terrain with lot of Banyan & Peepul trees forming a canopy and gives the impression of a deep forest with rocks and the hanging roots of Banyan and other trees Open hours: The Lotus pond is open 6-10am & 4-6pm. A must see for nature lovers & morning walkers. 2 hours time is justified unless one intends watching the birds and feel oneself in the midst of nature, in that special situation - 4 hours is also justified.

This is probably the cleanest park in anywhere around the city, with a large pond at the center. The circumference of the pond is a walking track and provides for a good variation in elevation and structures all along the track. A small section in the North-West part of the park offers a steeper track, but is sometimes closed. There are plenty of fishes in the pond and many turtles. Some cormorants are always found but i would've expected plenty more birds in a park like this. Photography is strictly not allowed but you can't hold back the smartphone yielding public, can you. You need to be on time of you want to explore this park because it's only open for an hour or two in the morning and in the evening.

Lotus pond is a wonderful place and is in the city so you don’t have to travel song in search of some pollution free traffic less area, there is a walk way around the pond so you can walk and click photos, there are some beautiful setups where you can click natural photos. Fishing is not allowed here so you can see fishes and turtles swimming in the water. You are allowed to feed the fishes with some bread. Make sure you check the timings and then go. One un convenience here is parking, you don’t have proper parking space for card. 2 wheeler you can park in front if the gate and nearby. But the location is very peaceful.

This is a serene park with lots of greenery, a big pond with a long walkway surrounding it. It’s soothing to take a walk around the pond during mornings and evenings. The pond is home to a numerous fishes, it’s entertaining to watch them for some time, We also spotted two small turtles resting on a tree in the pond. It takes around 20 mins to leisurely walk around the pond. The walkway itself was designed in an appealing way with several sitouts all over. Definitely worth visiting, no entrance fee. There is no parking facility, think twice if you are visiting by four wheeler, no problem for two wheeler though, can be parked along side the gate.

It's a pond situated in middle of a residential area. There is track encircled around this pond. The place is superbly maintained. Quite a serene place, do visit with family and enjoy the view. Lots of birds can be spotted, though DSLR are not allowed, don't know why but security guard is very rude and strict about it. Lot of people have confirmed that cams are allowed, but that not true, people are only allowed to click via smartphone cameras. Not able to figure out the logic behind restrictions on DSLRs, One star reduced for it. Morning time is ideal. Please note, dedicated parking space is not available, you need to park on the road.

The park is in circle ⭕ lake view shape, hardly cover 1.5 km walk track, around the lake sorrounded with big beautiful tree's, small Rock hills, sitting area near the track is awesome and best for taking beautiful pictures, it is a family park but kid's should be away from the water as all the walking track is very near to the lake Water, compulsory there is chance of kids to be fall down in the water, so better to keep kid's away. I recommend adults to go there for walking and getting refresh by seeing the beautiful Lake and tree's. Lake doesn't have boat driving facility.

Excellent place for evening walks, or someone who loves fishes. The park has a circular walkway surrounded by trees and long grass which has little yellow flowers, the walkway has small wooden bridges over the water. The water seems to be dark and at least 15 to 20 feet deep at Center and somewhat 3 to 10 feet deeper at corners, black wild fishes are hungry and looking for visitors to feed them, you can feed them soft buns or bread although it’s good for evening walks but not safe for kids as walkways are open (without barrier) to the water at some places.

Lotus pond is very beautyful park Good place for morning and evening walks park timings morning 6:00 am to 10:00 am and evening 4:00pm to 6:00pm. There are alot of fishes, crabs, turtles in the pond. Awesome place for morning and evening walks with pleasant and beautiful nature if they maintain properly. In recent times, my favorite spot has been Lotus Pond in MLA Colony, Jubilee hills. I must say it is an ideal location for a peaceful and pleasant morning walk. It evokes the sense of closeness to nature, especially during the blooming season when the aroma of Lotus flowers fills the air

Nice place to visit , the pond, fishes, turtles, birds and all the wild life there wil make us forget we are in the middle of the city. It's a family park and it has a good walk way around the pond for people to Walk or jog. People who visit wil experience one of the best Sunrise. Well done GHMC fr making the pond more beautiful, hope u try to make the water a bit clean n pollution free.

A beautiful park. Nice way to relax and spend time looking at the water and fishes, walk around exercise with the greenery. But there are no lotuses here. Not a single one. Was expecting to see a lot of Lotus. Also the water seems polluted and fishes coming out for oxygen. A lot of trees can be seen horizontal to the water, interesting. Can also spot birds and tortoise. Entry is free.

The pond per se is clean and well maintained, but the place needs more security, people are feeding the fishes all kinds of things although it is clearly instructed not to do so, the other day I saw a bunch of young boys and one of them took a fish out of the pond and was taking pictures with it, there was no security around, it's people like these who spoil things for others

It is a free park maintained by GHMC. There is not much crowd there even on the morning. The walk is really really delightful surrounded by the pond and among the trees. I would suggest to go early in the morning for an alone calming and relaxing walk and you can take lots of pics and videos. Pro tip: the tiffin stall in front of the park is really good. Try the onion bondas

Lotus pond??? Where is the Lotus in the pond??? Filled with all dirty and sewage water. Although not stinky at all when we went there. We went exclusively with high hopes and expectations. Not worth. It's okie if u stay near by locality, you may come for a stroll or walk. But doesn't deserve an exclusive visit. This place doesn't deserve the wastage of ur expensive fuel.

As per the name,this place is not like that.. You can rarely find any lotus here..But the place is quite good and serene..Small lake surrounded by green and bushy plants. It has a walkway throughout the entire perimeter which is very good for having a morning walk or an evening stroll.. Very calm and tranquil place..Surely you can find some peace from the City life..

Used to be a wonderful place, but visited last week and it's in a dilapidated state now. The pathways were damaged in the recent rains, the stoner are strewn all over when pathway. The neighbours have thrown their rubbish inside the campus and nothing is cleaned. There are glass and plastic bottles all over the place. This place is big, so need some serious cleaning.

It's really excellent place/park for walk on your time . Opening timing is there,so check before you visit. I would like to suggest morning time for you. It's really peace ☮️ here. It's a nice park. Could have maintained little bit more neatly. This pond has a fountain in it. This park has lots of varieties of plants. Nice place for taking pics. There is a big globe in this park. I would say this is very nicely carved. This is a 3D globe which depicts mountains clearly. Nice 3xperi3nce for children who wants geography experience.

Nestled near MLA colony, this place is ideal for some family time. The lake is calm and the environment serene. There is a pathway around the lake with small bridges that the kids love. There are fishes and ducks in the pond which add to the experience. A few lotuses are also seen. Given that we don't get to see any in the vicinity, it feels very nice.

This is a beautiful lake which is a lot cleaner then rest, so, PLEASE DON'T LITTER. It contains many turtles and fishes in it, let them live. Even though it is clean, there are a few spots with plastic bottles and plastic bags in the water. So if you are visiting, please don't pollute this beautiful place. Thank-you.

Basically a poorly maintained water body with a walking track all around which is unsafe as there is no fence around the pond. Smells horrible and there is no proper place to sit and relax. Though entry is free the timings are very limited. No designated parking area. Definitely not recommended for walking.

It was so good and clean . There was a fishes in the pond . I visited Thais pond at 9am . It was peaceful and cool . Some members are walking in the corner of the pond . In the morning I only heard birds sounds in that area only to compare with the overall hyd. It was a gud place to visit for nature lovers

It's good place to visit and we can take our young brother or sister so they can enjoy there. There are lot of fishes in the pond and place is so beautiful with greenary Its so large and we can find baby turtles and cat fishes but we cant do there fishing and dslr are not allowed in this pond.☺️

Amazing place to visit with friends and family, you can walk around the park and there are benches present to sit, pond has got an intense cleaning recently in which algae and moss were removed..There are tons of fishes and tortoise in the pond, it will surely be a treat for small children.

I just loved it.... Would like to go der again and again.... This March it was too gud as the trees were filled with flowers plus the pond is a feeding place for variety of birds.... I too have some pics to share... A nature lover like me finds peace in such beautiful environment

Lotus pond is a great place for a morning or an evening walk. Very serene and peaceful. You could come here alone and chill or bring some friends. The water is clean with old and pretty trees. There spots for tea and snacks right outside the pond too.

It is a beautiful park with a good pond in between. The timings are followed strictly and it is a great place for a walk as well. However, the walkers seem to litter the place a lot. Hope instructions for the same are adhered to strictly too.

thank god No tickets but timings are very short i.e only.for 4 hours morning and 2 hours in the evening we can feed fishes are there in the pond..I enjoyed feeding them
