This Mitre 10 suffers from a situation where the location is convenient, but the prices aren't competitive and nothing is ever in stock in store. That's a convenient location with an inconvenient store. There are 3 Bunnings within 15 minutes of this store, honestly try one of those first if you can. Remember in the early 90s how small towns might have only one hardware store, so you'd have to pay whatever they asked? Mitre 10 doesn't appear to have moved on from that with pricing 150-600% what the item costs in other stores across ~85% of their range. But the prices aren't the worst part, only a tiny fraction of their range is available in store, everything else has to be ordered which takes 3-7 days. To put this into perspective, their in store hand tools range is a hip height shelf that's <1m wide. That's the entire range, all screw drivers, pliers, hammers, levels, staple guns, etc fit in a section under 1m wide. It's a hardware store... Their in store BBQ accessories section is smaller than the Coles that's in the same centre, and costs twice as much as Coles. Do you need tape? I hope you don't have a special brand, big job or purpose in mind, they only have 5 rolls in store. They stock none of the cheaper range of any item category in store. Everything that's even close to reasonably priced has to be ordered in. The one thing they are competitively priced on that is in stock, is gas bottle refills. These are very reasonably priced. For all of the above reasons this Mitre 10 might be better thought of as a collection point for online click and collect orders when they arrive if you find a good deal online. Otherwise if you need something now, try bunnings, or even Coles, Woolworths or Kmart because the latter 3 all have hardware sections about as extensive as this 'hardware store'

This store almost always has what I need. It carries a broad range of products but a limited choice within each product range which is to be expected for a suburban hardware store. In my experience, the staff have always been pleasant and helpful. Although a little dearer than the warehouse hardware stores it's far more convenient and if there's a significant price difference they're always happy to price match or at lease close the gap. Weekend DYI projects are often saved in this store.

Pretty poor experience. Called up to see if i could purchase a plank of wood and get it cut into roughly 2 foot sections. The manager said that this was okay. When i got there the sales staff told me they could not do it because they were "too busy". Being unable to do something i called ahead and asked about is one thing but too be treated with attitude is frankly awful. I cannot recommend this store to anyone as my experience here was terrible.

Scammers! Liars! Mysogynist alert! Store manager doesn't give a sh....t about customers. Awful disgusting store. Most shocking experience. First and last time for me with this place. Can't even call it a store. He literally has three items on the shelves, even that is a stretch. Store manager lies through his teeth. Don't get near this place! Stay away! Especially if you are a female.

Warwick is an absolute legend. The team are airways on-hand, too. The knowledge of Warwick inparticular is massively impressive. We're regulars, have been for years and years to come. Perhaps less of a range than the bigger places around the city, but based on overall service and quality (Ego products inparticular), we'll continue to support local. Cheers guys, Sam & Sarah

Before you drive that extra 10 kms to a huge, chaotic chain-store, check out this local, family-owned business. I'm pleasantly surprised at how much of what I'm looking for actually exists in this smaller, more personable store. And it comes with someone asking if you've been helped, pretty much every time.

While I would love to support local trades, and understand that merchandise may be priced a little higher for a smaller business but just walked in to get masking tape and drill bit and comparing to Bunnings these are literally twice the price. Very disappointing.

I will always take a friendly small store over the large multinationals anytime .. yes sometimes they can be a little short staffed but hands down 10 time better than BUNNINGS & if you want to see bad ratings just look up ANY Bunnings reviews .. Thanks so much

Good servce, they picked up phone and checked for product. No waiting like at other large stores. It might be a little more pricey, but its local, and will save me the 40mins return trip to Oxley. Saving me time and petrol!

Convenient location but exuberant prices. Paid $22 for painters tape... Two weeks later bought another role at Bunnings for $8. I want to support locally but there's a limit to what acceptable mark-ups are in my opinion.

This particular Mitre10 is one of the best around. Great customer service and friendly staff willing to help with absolutely anything, even go out of their way to find out information or products for you.

Nice little hardware store. They usually have what I need. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Reminds me of old-school hardware stores where the staff are knowledgeable and friendly.

Big Shout to Mitre 10 for help & excellent service they provide, solidifying why Mitre 10 will always be far and above in my opinion than the huge hardware stores that do not go that extra mile.

Warwick is excellent and has helped me with my renovations on my old and new properties. If he hasn't got the product in stock will offer to get it in for you. His jokes are pretty ordinarily.
