Went to the Calgary location on 130th ave. Came in fairly late and boy were they busy. All the staff were super professional and apologized for the bit of a wait. Eventually I was helped by a LOVELY lady named Amber. I work in film as an assistant director in...often not so warm climate. My knowledge on warm work clothing is..simply..zero. Amber was amazing, she helped figure out exactly what I needed for the exact job I'm doing. She put up with all my annoying(and no doubt fairly stupid) questions and found me a perfect pair of boots. Even helped me find some super duper sweeeeet gloves I can use to keep my digits warm and STILL USE MY PHONE. Hellllll ya. She also found me some super warm socks. I feel fully prepped to dance with the Canadian polar bears now. This location rules and I will be recommending it to EVERYONE on set. Amber gets an 18/10 highly recommend. In fact.. I recommend giving her a store of her own. If the CEO title is available I'd say interview her immediately. High fives all around. Thanks for keeping my tootsies warm.

We went to the store near McKenzie Town. It was on Wednesday around 8 pm, and there were about 10 people in the store, including us. We liked the store, but the staff was non-existent. They were utterly unhelpful, constantly saying they were busy with other customers. However, other customers were also wandering around the store on their own. The women's work shoe section was a mess. Half of the shoes were not on display, and the remaining ones were mixed up. To find out if my size was available, I had to check the website and then search for my size on the shelves. While looking for my size, I found a model that wasn't displayed but turned out to be a perfect fit. Despite these issues, we liked the store overall.

Clearance sale on now Feb 3 19. Not sure how long it lasts. If they dont have the item you want in store you can order online and get a promo code for 10% off. I was looking for gloves. By the time I found what I wanted a staff member came over to help me with boots. The young man was quick and knew how to check stock with his device. It's a quite store great to shop at when sales are on. Found a nice set of Dunlops for cheap. Spent 50$ more and bought an even better boot online. Which will be shipped to that Mark's location. Or to your home. You choice upon order.

Went to get some clothes as I normally do and caught an employee by the name of Alex I believe being rather creepy. Looking at my girlfriend whom was with me. She left and waited in the car due to how uncomfortable he made her feel. We caught him several times looking at her and being overall a terrible employee. I will not shop here again, at least until he is dealt with. I even made a comment to another staff member and they said he does that to a lot of them. Women do not deserve to feel this way shopping or working.

We visited this location yesterday. I was little confused about what I wanted. Then, Alex came to our rescue. He went above and beyond to help us. He is one of the most helpful and knowledgeable salesman that I ever met. If people from Mark's warehouse are reading this, please know that he is great asset to your company. At the end, I couldn't find the boot in the size I wanted, so Alex also help me find and reserve it at Shawnessy location. Thank you guys for this wonderful experience.

I was in the store last week and purchased a pair of shoes. After wearing the shoes around inside for a few days it became clear that I had purchased the wrong size. I stopped in today and a couple of wonderful staff members made the exchange very easy. I find the service at the 130th Ave SE location is usually excellent. I highly recommend this location. I often find Mark's prices are on the high side but if you keep an eye on the sales you can typically find a good deal.

I buy all my work stuff from here, but I don't think I will anymore. Bought a watch for work about 6 months ago, just a cheapy, but it started to get loads of condensation in it about 6 months after I bought it. Apparently Marks Work Wearhouse don't stand behind their products. Told me I have to deal with Columbia the watch manufacturer, didn't want a refund just wanted them to swap the watch. So, over $40 they have now lost about $2000 annually from me. Not happy.

I bought a gift for my dad today and asked for a gift receipt. Cashier said no problem and after printing my receipt stamped it that it can only be exchanged for merchandise, but never mentioned what the stamp says.. Katie never said anything about the change in return policy. The website and bottom of the receipt both indicate it's a 130 day full refund or exchange with the receipt. Being deceptive is not a quality I'm looking from a company when I'm shopping.

If I could give a negative star, you would have earned it today. I was in the store looking to buy jeans/cargo pants for my son's birthday. An employee was helping me, I turned around and she was gone. I waited for over 15 minutes for her to come back but she did not. When I confronted her, her only response was "I had to disappear for awhile and when I am done helping this lady, I will help you". Customer service no longer exists at this location.

When I was a kid Mark's was a place we went to for great value, and was only called Work Warehouse. I rarely go in here anymore because everything is very overpriced and the staff don't care about anybody which I witnessed again the other day when I was just pointed over to something and had to search for somebody else to help me with what I needed. The entire place changed years ago when they were bought up by that tire company

Had a problem with some work boots I had purchased here. They were causing some reoccurring injuries that were addressed and promptly taken care of by Isabelle; who really understood what I was going through and had the knowledge to help me find a new pair at no extra cost to me. This made me beyond thrilled!! I will be returning here for any workwear I may need in the future. Thanks again Isabelle! Model employee right there.

I tried their curbside pick up yesterday and it was smooth and easy. All I had to do was park and call for them to come out. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because it took a long time for the order to get ready for pickup, maybe they had to ship it in from another store or something? All I ordered were two shirts. Next time maybe an email or courtesy call letting me know an accurate timeline for pick would be good?

Best place ever to buy shoes. I got a new pair of shoes couple weeks ago and what a surprise was to find the shoes i got six days before their new flyer went on sale. Well, i was not very happy to pay full price so i went back and ask in a nice way if they could help me with a price adjustment. The manager was more then please to help me because it happened withing less of a week of my purchase.

Great small Marks store, it has a variety of items. Prices are a little bit high but clothes seem like they are made of lasting materials so maybe that's why, staff are also friendly. The only thing is that the store needs more cashiers as every time I go to the store there's a line up to pay because there's only one person doing the cash. Overall it's a good store to go to!

The curb side pick up is a joke . Save your money and time, and go to a different Marks . Curb side associate was rude and demanded I be parked in the curb side parking spot even though I was literally in the stall next to it. I could understand if they didn’t ask what you drive .... but they do/ parking lot was empty.Worst experience I’ve ever had while shopping with Marks.

I was changing in the change room and when finished I opened the door and saw a salesman get up off the floor. He was looking under to see if I was stealing. I spend thousands a year at Marks. Every time I go in I feel their eyes on me like I'm a thief. Honestly it's a horrible feeling I will not go back to this location ever again.

Mark's still has that 90's business model. If you enter this place without a discount card or coupon code you're paying 30% too much. If you have a card or code you're only paying 20% too much. Walmart sells made in Canada Stanfields long undies for $20, think about that before you pay $50 at Marks for the house brand.

Just sending out this review for the good experience that I had when I was shopping, Diana helped me every step of the way while I was looking for dress shirts. Never felt patronizing and even bothered to ACTUALLY checked the back for clothes my size. Came home with a work ready dress shirt! Thank you Diana!

Depressing women’s work section. Good luck trying to find pants that fit here they only carry women’s size 12 pants right now. Asked about if they get any women’s work pants in general and they said no not usually so if you’re under a 32 waist you won’t find anything that will fit.

Freindly, helpful staff. Almost always find a great deal on clearance in addition to what I went in for. Don't bother getting my work shoes anywhere else, as their return policy is generous, and almost never needed. Antislip on their shoes is one of the best out there.

I look like a teenager even tho I'm almost 25 so no one wants to help me look for anything. I was looking for construction boots but I was pretty much ignored. They helped the older people first because they looked like they have money. Left the store empty handed.

Stood by change rooms while staff talked about personal life. Asked for help to get into a room and three staff members said not a problem then all walked away. Definitely left the store without buying a single thing. I'll go to shawnessy next time I go to Mark's.

Lots of choices for men's clothing and shoes. We were looking fir shoes for the man in my life. Nothing struck his fancy. We are trying to shop Canadian. When it comes to shoes there does not seem to be anything. Too sad. Canadian company, no Canadian shoes

Received a package that I had ordered online but it had a security tag attached. So I brought the pants over to 130th location to have the tag removed. I was basically accused of trying to steal the pants as they went off as I was coming

Always good deals when I visit this place. I always find what I'm looking for. Staff is friendly but I needed to look for somebody...they could use a little more staff at busy times. Overall, generally good experience shopping here.

3 times I have gone to this store after calling ahead to confirm a shoe size is in stock. Then when I get there that have either set aside the wrong one or grabbed the wrong size. I will go to any other location but this one.

horrible customer service everytime. don't waste your time at this location, the Chinook one is much better. bigger selection and actual helpful staff who don't have an attitude everytime you walk in the doors

Better than I remember. First time shopping here in years. They actually have real brands now like Buffalo, Silver, Mavi, Guess, etc. Prices were inline with what The Bay would charge for the same.

This place has everything that i was looking for. It has good quality with affordable price. The employees are quite friendly and helpful which makes shopping more pleasant.

men's sizing is always smaller than other men's stores, eg: their 2xl in shirts is everyone else's xl. Never find shirts to fit me.

It is a smaller Mark's. It carried everything I was looking for. I happened upon some Great sales. Staff are helpful and friendly.
