Well there was a point in time not that long ago that I did a review on winners and it was not close to this one. Don't get me wrong I like winners but it has changed along with so many other things that covid had or still hasa negative effect on. You may have noticed that when you go to buy something, could be anything that it is out of stock and could be fit quite some time well winners is no different 8 7sed to go to buy a few things or even just one thing and buy more than intended I always found something I really liked now it's hard to find one thing I like. On this day I visited 4 of them and walked away with nothing each time, it's sad to see businesses that are one time we're so successful slowly fading, you can see a lot of the mom and pops closed and many very close to it or planning to close. I won't give my opinion on covid it's effects, where it came or how it started. Maybe that's not for us know but I do know that my opinion is my own and that is where it stays, with me. If you haven't seen some of my pictures off YYC internation air port, I invite you to have a look, right at the pinnacle of this epidemic, I still look at them today and am in disbelief, they were taken at a time that I found myself there just about 6 days a week and the pictures reflect what it was like everyday of the week for over a year. I totally agree with the other customers that said staff seems unhappy. I like Winners but I really don’t want to see the face of the cashier named “Alla”. If you don’t spend $100+, it’s very likely she will put on her snob face. (If you go there often, you will see the pattern. Maybe also depends on how you are dressed. ) The funny part is she is required to write her name and ask for you to participate in customer survey...Here’s what I believe: if you hate your job so much that you HAVE to make customers feel uncomfortable, quit your job and give the opportunity to someone else that would be more grateful and be excited in helping people! Please! I am shopping for relaxation, not for looking at your snob face and condescending response to some other customers that spent little. Diversity is great, but don’t get carried away by hiring unpleasant people that hate others just for the sake of “diversity”.

Winners can be pretty hit or miss. Its just the nature of this type of store. You never know what you're going to find. When they have good stuff you can get some pretty good deals. But then you go through a slump of them just having a bunch of garbage for a few months. The store itself is relatively clean and well stocked. Some areas get a bit messy like the electronics section but that's because people tend to rip open the packages look inside and then just dump it on the shelf. Looks like the store is trying to curb that behavior by moving that section closer to the cash registers. The staff that I have dealt with have all been nice.

Winners use to be a very nice place to buy brand name products at a lower prices. It felt like an outlet store for older and less popular models, but quality of products was always top of the line. It still the same, but many prices are now comparable to original stores, that in my opinion kind of ruin the Winners concept. Waiting time at line to cashier 5 minutes or less. Many employees speak different languages which is very convenient. Store is fully stocked at all times merchandise looks neat and appealing. Winners also has a rewards program. Despite higher prices Winners still a good choice to shop for a quality products.

Discount brand name retail store. Defects often present in clothes which can be returned or exchanged, seems like a lot of B grade product makes it through to winners. Shoe selection, house wears, small food section, fragrances, etc. Tags do not come off easily, which staff brought up years ago, as well as customers; staff were told it would be addressed however management has failed. Difficulty removing tags deters customers from gifting. Winners management would benefit from adopting a customer focused view in this respect; companies that do this consistently improve revenue.

Spent half an hour shopping for work clothes, but then I realized I had forgotten my debit card in the car. Told the cashier to hold on to my clothes for a minute or two and that I would be back right away. Came back exactly 2 minutes and the clothes I asked her to hold on to were all sorted out to their returned racks. It was my first time shopping in the Country Hills location, due to this non-existent customer service, I will not be returning to the Country Hills location. I have never encountered this kind of policy at the other locations.

I find the selection here tends to be very hit or miss. It depends when you go, if they get new shipments, and how picked over things are. The woman's clothing selection is always lacking in XS sizes. The children's clothing section is practically non-existent. There seems to be a lot of damaged items in the clearance section. When you can find items, usually the prices are pretty good, so it's worth a look every now and again.

Last year I reviewed this place and the state of the store, it wasn’t bad. You can tell in a way it seems to be mis-managed.the bathrooms are alright, there seems to be issues with flushing the toilet. The baby changing station is clean which is nice to see. The racks are almost always messy. I was in the store within an hour of it opening and it wasn’t in good shape. Pickup the slack and you will be back to bring great!

Scammers!!! I picked up a product and the clearance tag was literally on the product barcode. But the cashier team lead had lot of attitude when she was explaining that the red clearance tag doesn’t belong to this product. I am sorry but I don’t have scanner eyes that I can tell that red tag doesn’t belong. Hopefully I never have to visit this location as it was not pleasant!

I was informed by the cashier , no longer will winners , Marshall’s , homesense , hold an item for you as of June 1st 2022 One less customer service , too bad , a one day hold in clothing is essential, guess if your not listening to your customers , surely a demise Quality of clothing is very mediocre This is the reason for 3 stars After June 1st 2022 - 2 stars

I really love this location always has the best clothing items and great deals. The staff here are all really friendly and helpful I had a great time shopping. The lady and the guy at the till were very helpful and kind. I love shopping at winners cause you always find the best items before they are gone!

Horrible place to work especially if you are looking for a part-time. Barely give you hours at most you'd get is 4hr PER week. They completely cut my hours because I kept asking for more hours. Went from working 4 hours per week, to working every 10/12 days. Poor management in general.

This is becoming known as a place to bring dogs to hang out when it is cold out. If you want to buy clothes covered in dog hair, or be attacked by an unruly, unleashed pet, come here. Absolutely disgusting for a clothing store. It is no longer safe or hygienic here due to all the dogs.

I was quite surprised at how the store has improved. I went to Winners eons ago and swore I would never step foot in one again. This Christmas someone dragged me in and I was shocked at the layout, prices, cleanliness and staff. A huge difference. I have shopped several times since.

I like this store. I've been lucky to go when it was not busy. I won't shop anywhere else. Winners, Home Sense and Marshall's prices are hard to beat!! Why would I shop for a dress elsewhere and pay $90 + , when I can buy a beautiful dress for $50 and less at Winners?

Winners is by far one of my favorite stores. You can get really good deals on high end brands, which I don't care at all, but if you are a brand person this place is definitely for you. The return police is excellent so remember to keep your receipt and the tag.

One of the worst sales experiences I've had. Dealt with a sales associate named Melissa who obviously was in a really bad mood and treated me very rudely. Used to spend couple of hundreds most months but I don't think Id ever go back to Winners.

Little picked through, not sure if it’s covid related or what, but Marshall’s and HS just down the block we’re a fair bit “healthier” and I think they’re all the same company so not sure what’s up. Clean store though and people were nice.

One of the best winner outlet, amazing customer service, experienced and professional sales reps, no public washooms but for customers, free parking free handicap parking, handicap access, neat clean, quality stuff and gift items.

Very neat and organized compared to many winners stores I’ve been to in the past. Good at having the right amount of staff on shift to gaurentee the line doesn’t get too long. One of my favourite places to shop for sure!

Walked in to see what up and doing some shopping g therapy and wow found a lot of things I want, need and/or do not need. Great finds, I will be back. Lots for kids and babies as well for all the fathers put there.

We love this store because it has everything from clothing to shoes/ bags, makeup ( for men , women and kids) to home decor ( candles, bedding, frames, wall art ).The price range is within reach as well.

I had been to winners so many times that i cant even remember. They always have really good and trendy stuff with quality. My personal fav. Is the track pants that they always have with tons of options.

It's a medium size winners in Calgary. Good size selection of housewares, clothing, shoes. It is on 130th so it can get pretty picked over during the day. But it's winners so new stock all the time

Good selection but cashier didnt even moved products after scanning. I had to reach and grab after transaction was done while he was standing there with dull face. Looked like he was forced to work

The department store has a variety of merchandise available. I bought my travel luggage on this store and so far the quality has been great. We also come here mostly for clothing items.

This is the place to be to buy all those your gifts, souvenirs, personal effects, quick in and out house warming gifts, etc. Cool stuff, though some of the items are pricey but cool.

Nothing really remarkable in terms of men's clothing, but I was happy to see them counting customers to keep occupancy low. Good hand sanitizer station right by the front door too.

I like this winners, the staffs are good and helpful. The only thing is that there isnt much choice a lot of times. Its also the only one closer to my house so am stuck with it.

This place was ok. Pretty busy, and I think I came at a bar tube as their shelves had been pretty picked through. I'm guessing there are times where it would have more stock.

The clerks wear masks. They clean the carts. They recommend wearing masks. Love it. Wish they had a bigger store with a better selection of home goods and candles.

Friendly and helpful staff. Shared washrooms with single wheelchair-accessible stall and single urinal. Clean fitting rooms and the usual bargains.

The best cloth and accessories store. Cost effective store for the very best brands items. If you are lucky you can 3 items for the price of one.

There is always something you can find at Winner’s if you spend a bit of time. And for goodness sake, remember to use your gift card this time!

Customer service is horrible, called asking if they had an item they said “I don’t think so” and hung up. If I can give zero stars I would.

It's getting difficult to find good stuff, it feels like leftovers store sometimes. Furniture is too expensive for the quality they offer
