We heard good things about this hidden gem in Marsfield and we were not disappointed. We had the pre-ordered Chicken Coconut Hotpot with unlimited noodles, Mapo tofu, and honey prawns. The Mapo Tofu was very fresh and I liked how the tofu was in big blocks. The honey prawn could have done with a few more prawns (or maybe the plate was too large…). The Coconut hotpot was very interesting. Essentially we are given a pot with soup stock, and place chicken, lettuce and noodles to cook it over a stove as we eat it. The stock soup was very nice and nourishing with a subtle coconut taste. The addition of chicken gave the soup a meaty punch. Best to eat everything when it is hot. The restaurant was a bit stuffy but it was a hot day. Staff were friendly and attentive, and menu items were well priced. We look forward to return to try other dishes.

We found this hidden gem one night after the kids’ soccer training at Waterloo Park. It then became a weekly treat! The kids love the steamed dim sims, omelettes, crispy duck and I personally love the tender beef clay pot. My husband loves the Mongolian beef and sweet and sour pork dishes. Highly recommend this restaurant!

It's a small joint but would recommend it highly. The food was excellent with ample portions. It was summer yet comfortable though we sat outside. Would love to come here again.

Ordered the honey prawns and a serve of vegetarian springrolls. For the price it was quite terrible and regretted my decision to buy from this place from after the first bite. The honey prawns were undercooked as seen by the soggy, thick batter. Having thought at least it's pretty hard to mess springs rolls up, i tried those and they tasted as bland as anything. Dissappointed as other positive reviews were reason for going here. Customer service was friendly and timely however.

Definitely worth the visit to Marsfield! The portion of each dish is generous and the price is very normal compared to other Chinese kitchens. Comparing the flavour and taste of the dishes from many Chinese kitchens, this restaurant definitely wins the competition. They have variety of Chinese dishes from Northern to Southern, and every single one of them is mastered by the chef. People who served me were also friendly, nice and well mannered. It is definitely family friendly! Absolutely going to revisit!

Great value & tasty Chinese foods ! Combination Chowmein was fantastic along with Sang Chow Bow, which is a very big (like big Mac portion) serve compared to usual. However Spicy sour soup was rather bland - perhaps this is a Guangdong style as the chef is from Gangzhou. Anyway, big thumbs up for this new joint which has already gained a good reputation in the area.

Its few and far between where I can comfortably dine at a family owned and operated local restaurant which has the customer at the heart of what they do. Andrew and his team truly bring their best to the table in price, quality and service - very rare in the current climate.

The dumplings and fried rice are super delish. The honey chicken and bbq pork were not my fave and also a bit expensive considering they don’t even come with rice.
