I have been here for several years now. Dr Heinz is the best GP I have come across ever and being Spina Bifida with doctors and hospitals just simply being part of my life, that's a big call. (48 Operations/surgeries as of 2017). My husband, at 51 who has NEVER seen a day in hospital, or even been on medication (other than for colds) now sees Dr Heinz to help generally monitor his heart, and there is not a more thorough doctor who also listens. Two of the longer term receptionists like Lindy are always patient and professional. They are courteous and empathetic. As the practice has grown, more receptionists have come in to contribute their expertise and put systems in place. These are great, however what has been lost is the personal care that the other 2 ladies so carefully put in place and to be honest, the newer receptionists treat you like a mere number. I have even experienced what some of the other people who have left reviews, where they come across as abrupt and downright rude. I have even felt like moving to a different practice because of these ladies, but my doctor is too good to let him go because of the lack of care of other staff members. So I just put up with their rudeness and hope the experience is short with them. The two original ladies (Lindy and I forget the other lady's name sorry) maintain their care and patience and when you phone or call in, you just hope that you get one of them.

I have been going to this place for years and I am extremely disappointed by the ridiculous procedures you now have to take to get an appointment. You need a negative Covid test for every appointment you make, regardless of whether you have Covid symptoms or not. The last time I made an appointment was sometime last year for nausea before going to the bathroom and I was told that was a Covid symptom and I needed to take a test. That is not a Covid symptom. Today my brother made an appointment for extreme stomach pains that he’s experienced for the past month and was also told he needed to have a negative Covid test with him. That is also not a Covid symptom. When asking the receptionist why we needed one, she called us rude and proceeded to hang up. After calling the centre again, asking if the appointment was still available, she proceeded to say we spoke to her rudely. After confirming to her that we didn’t speak to her rudely, the receptionist said “wanna bet?”. Absolutely unprofessional and childish. It is such a shame that the receptionist cannot do her job in a professional manner as I really love Dr. Tita. If you want people to take Covid test for every single appointment, provide the tests. People are already spending money on the appointment and don’t want to spend another $20 on Covid tests they absolutely do not need.

My GP is fine but one of the receptionists has made my entire experience horrific. Lindy is the most unprofessional receptionist I’ve ever come across. Her phone manner is atrocious and condescending. She refused to scan my medical records because “it’s a LOT of work” (it’s less than five minutes of ‘work’). A specialist asked for my referral in order to book my appointment. Lindy tells me my referral is useless without my medical records attached, yet refused to attach them to the referral therefor making it impossible for me to get my appointment with the specialist. She told me they won’t scan properly and in the same breath she tells me I can scan them myself. Ten mins later low and behold she’s scanned the “unscannable” documents and tells me all about how difficult it was and how it was sooo much work and she doesn’t normally do that. Sorry for having medical records, perhaps you’re in the wrong job if that’s a trigger for you. Never once did she apologise for her blatant error, she spoke over me, she raised her voice, she scoffed and muttered under her breath & she made my entire (already difficult) experience much worse than it needed to be.

I have been going to this practice for over 13 years, it use to be fantastic but in the last couple of years it has been getting worse and worse. Today I took my daughter in, you would be lucky if we saw the doctor for five minutes (tonsillitis), he checked her throat/temp and gave us a script. We get to the counter and wait for the doctor to put our appointment through... apparently we had an extra long appointment and we charged for a long consultation... tonsillitis and a script is hardly a long consultation. Today’s experience has confirmed that this long term customer (family with three kids) will be moving to another doctor surgery! Very disappointing

This practice needs to get with the times, and use e-mail at least to provide results or any information requested by the patient. The doctor whom I see gives referrals/scripts out so quick it doesn't feel as though your symptoms are being listened to or you're being properly assessed. On top of that, the referrals and scripts are typed in some abbreviated short-hand and sometimes missing words because the doctor types with 2 fingers. I said I am experiencing slurred speech and responded with 'your not slurring your words with me right now' and didn't put it down as a symptom. I'm not going back for a consult again.

My daughter has been there not long ago for her eczema, somehow this morning I rang up and they said they haven't got ANY record, therefore my daughter can't see a doctor as "they don't see any new patients" That was a joke! And the receptionist was even argued with me claimed that "no, no, your daughter has never been here before"! I definitely won't recommend anyone to go to this disgraceful clinc!

I consider this to be the worst practice i have attended. When i questioned them on a procedure they proceeded to lie to me about it. I believe were keen to get as much money from each client who passed through their doors. They have no understanding of service and are there to extract as much $ as they can without any care. I live locally and i make sure that they dont get positives from me.

I have been going to Mayfair for a number of years now. I’ve always found everyone there, from receptionist to doctor, nurses, to be understanding, courteous & kind. I truly couldn’t be happier with my doctors! I usually see Dr Martin Hinse, but often have seen other doctors, they are all wonderful caring doctors. I have tried many different medical clinics, but always returned to them.

Walked in the a big cut on my head holding a paper towel over it and all they cared about was me wearing a mask and charging me to see a doctor rather the. Making sure I was okay. I left and went to the toilet to clean myself up. Absolutely disgusting service. Could have made sure I didn’t have concussion or was seriously injured

Mayfair medical is the most unprofessional medical experience I have ever received. Doctors are overall nice but receptionists are absolutely clueless. Had to ask multiple times for tasks to get done and was met with the rudest attitude, left the phone crying. I will no longer being going to Mayfair medical.

Dr's are great, however the practice manager is so rude and unprofessional. Looking for a new practice as I am tired of being belittled and treated with total disdain by her. As a veteran I find her manner completely offensive. Don't even think about attending if you need paperwork completed.

We have been using this practice for over 5 years. All the doctors are extremely helpful and professional. Our family doctor, Dr Azzie is amazing. He's brilliant with my 2 children and very approachable for myself and husband. I would highly recommend this service to anyone in the area.

I recommend this practice, specifically, ‘Dr Azze’. He’s been very helpful in sorting out my medical issues. Also, it’s rare to find a doctor with a sense of humour, these days. I can’t speak for the rest of the doctors in this practice, but the reception staff are lovely.

The Doctor and staff were very pleasant, seemed happy and were efficient. Lindy has a great phone attitude and is very pleasant when at the reception area. That’s not to mention the rest of the staff who all are terrific as well. It was indeed a great experience as usual.

Dr Hines is great .. he is a straight shooter, shows empathy and genuine concern. What lets this practice down is the rude & argumentative reception staff. I hate calling them .... about as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike. Love Dr Hines though - awesome !!

I've started going here since moving into the area a few months ago. The doctors and staff are very nice people and highly efficient with bookings, specialist referrals, etc. I definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a GP.

Visiting from NSW and needed appt. Very helpful and after explaining situation managed to get an appointment quickly. Dr helpful in diagnosis and required medication to relieve symptoms until I can get home for further investigations.

I've only been going to this medical centre for a short time but am very happy with their service. Particularly like that I can see a doctor when I need one and not have to wait for weeks for an appointment.

We find Mayfair Medical Centre extremely accommodating. I have 3 young children and can always get an appointment when needed. We manage to see our regular doctors and are very happy with the service

Doctor was average but the staff were extremely rude and far from helpful. Would not recommend this practice simply a money making machine churning out $ not helping people to get better.

I travel 30 minutes to see my doctor there, experience professionals, would not go anywhere else, you'll be very well looked after, recommended medical care centre for sure. Richard.

Have been seeing Dr Azzi for many years who has helped with maintaining my health. Clinic is always ultra hygienic and staff very welcoming. Parking is easy in the complex.

Dr Hines and the team at Mayfair Medical have helped me to no end with various health issues and support services. I would highly recommend this practice.

I was able to get my son in for a same day appointment last minute. They were on time, literally no waiting and the doctor & reception staff were lovely.

Worst practice I’ve been to in years. Rude staff, average practitioners... tried it for convenience but will never return.

Dr Azzi is a very experienced practitioner who always asks after my whole family and has shown us care for many years.

I took my little baby there when he was unwell and the doctor was really good and checked him over really well.

Don’t even bother asking if you can see a gp to assess and sign papers for work they tell you to go elsewhere.
