This one star is not for Pet Warehouse products..... I go there all the time and the service there is normally really good, staff are always friendly and helpful.... EXCEPT today, a staff member I haven't seen before walked in, I said hello... she ignored me... I thought maybe she never heard me and said nicely "smile" she ignored me. I noticed she smiled at a male staff member (found out he is the Store Manager).... Then while I was being served a lovely Chinese couple were asking her questions and smiling, as they spoke to her, they were lovely... She was very rude and patronising! I thought this very young female with short blonde wavy hair, was rude and looked like she just didn't want to be there... We've all been through so much in the last twelve months and it's really nice to go shopping and see friendly staff giving great customer service and enjoying their work..... But so upsetting when a staff member is rude to a customer's it can ruin our day... I did speak to the Store Manager....Sounds like it's ok for her to be rude... he said she just started and was getting into it? She needs to be trained in Customer Service! The other Staff are so nice....

Get my fresh dog mince here every week or my dogs go hungry, sent my mother in to collect our usual pick up that gets put away every Friday. We can't always pick up on Friday as they can't guarantee what time the order comes in so Saturday is better for everyone. A new employee didn't know this and got it from the display and not the back. Then we went in today and got accused of not collecting my order and they had to throw it out. So today my elderly mother got blasted by an employee for another employee's mistake. Tammy was the only one to rectify it and apologised while the other female employee kept shouting over the top of Tammy and my mum. She not once apologised or accepted that we picked up the $150 of meat I get EVERY WEEK. I'll take my average $7000 a year worth of orders else where. To speak to a long term loyal customer over a fellow employee's mistake is just pathetic. Will be intouch with our lawyer and will be having a chat to you after hours

We travel from Doreen to epping because we like the range of well priced fresh food that you provide for our dog plus the great indoor dog wash that we also use on a regular basis. The staff at this location are pretty friendly but on many visits we find one young blonde girl very grumpy and not at all friendly. I have worked in the retail industry for many years and i definitely would be either retraining this girl or getting rid of her.... I didn’t get her name or I would of put it in this review... I don’t think she is suited to this job and I certainly will be letting her know next time that her service is below standard. I have given your business 4 stars but your staff member 1.... cheers

Huge barn like pet food store where we source large 15 kg bags of Sunflower and Wild Bird Mix seed to feed our native bird visitors. Pricing is competitive when compared to those of other online suppliers where their delivery costs blow out their attractive pricing. So if you are open to shop in store this can save you money. Large collection of pet foods for birds, lizards, dogs, cats and fish but no live animals or fish for sale. It appears they also don't stock aquarium plants. There are trolleys at the front of the store for large purchases but you require a gold coin to use them.

Guys i am very happy to say the quality of food i buy from mega pet warehouse is good and I definitely don't get any complaints just empty bowls i can tell you quite comfortable my dogs a very faithful but they can be extremely fussy when it comes to there food i have been to other pet shops and seriously i can say this my dogs just look at me and walk away and the staff from day one still i can walk away very satisfied it's very rare to find staff help yo day in and day out.

Sammi was the best, absolutely amazing service especially in the current times, I tried to order two dog coat but the web site wasn't playing nice, Sammi organised everything over the phone, got the order but they were both too small (funny sizing), not an issue for Sammi, after dicussing with her, I sent them back, Sammi had a bigger one in stock and then organised to get another in and presto, my kids have perfectly fitting coats highly recommended, will shop again

Being a regular customer I purchased a 5kg bag of mince, the bag was wet and the manager explained that it was only condensation. I asked for a bag as it was wet. I was charged for for bag. Having phoned the owner i was advised that their are free bags available. The owner phoned the store and i was offered a free bag. Very frustrating, and embarrassing, thanks Careline for sorting this out however it should have never happened.

Quite a good variety... However i went there the other day and was waiting inline to have aan just walk straight to the counter infront of me pushing in.. the young man working should have said somethomg but didnt even flinch, just started looking in the book to scan his items!? Im usually one to say something however my part er was there and quite a hot-headed person so i didnt wanna start a fight....

Staff are always friendly, big store with a spacious layout and plenty of parking, good range of products including fresh pet meat, and most importantly prices are generally lower than other retailers in the area. Loyalty card is worthwhile if you're a frequent shopper. Only downside is that it's often tricky to get in and out by car (one way access via High Street).

Fantastic and friendly staff. Also very knowledgeable. My German Shepherd is recovering from a big operation. The girls are very engaging and always ask how he’s going when I pop in to get my dogs’ food. They are clearly passionate about what they do. Highly recommend. Would not go anywhere else even though it takes me almost an hour to drive there.

Mega Pet Warehouse is great. We get the fresh pet mince for the dogs & mix with veggies &/or pasta to make up bulk meals for them. They have a great selection of fresh & frozen meats for the dogs. Necks, carcasses etc. A great selection of other pet needs as well. Just wish they were in Regional areas.

Fantastic pet shop with a huge range. Amazing selection of toys. Good stock of various dry foods as well as reasonable prices on their fresh mince. Doesn't go off in a day like some other sources. One of my preferred treat stores, if a little you get into with entrance did close to the intersection.

These girls were very helpful and knowlegable with my issue of an orphaned kitten I have to hand feed. I basically had no idea of even where to start, but walked out feeling a little more confident with the information and advice they gave. Good job girls and thanks! …

Amazing place, heaps of products to choose from. We got an amazing buffalo hide chew for our power chewer who loves it and spends a lot of time on it. We had never found a chew that lasted him more than.15 mins. But it's now 2 weeks and counting and he is still working on it.

If you love your pet , it is the place to be. You definitely will get the best for your pet from here. I'm telling you with 5 years experience with this lovely store with very friendly staff. My fur baby is having a big snore on his new bed now. Thanks lovely staff.

The range and prices at Mega Pet Warehouse cannot be competed with by anyone else. Larger chains cannot match Mega Pet Warehouse's excellence in product. Staff are excellently mannered and knowledgeable. Only wish there was more stores in South East Melbourne area

Great variety of products at reasonable prices. Every now and then great sale on items. Super kind staff. I was running late and it was 2 minutes prior closing time. The staff let me in and did not rush me at all. They were helping me and they were super nice.

Great prices and wonderful staff and customer service. Updated May 2023 to fantastic staff and customer service . Treated my curly puppy like their own and fitted him out so kindly with a harnesses . Best pet shop in Melbourne . Highly Recommend

I stop By for "No More Litterbox OdourS" nothing in store.. They have other products called sprinkle. Not interested for me.. Alot in store for all your pet! Huge place.. Clean and well organised. Hope the service will improve more in future :)

Considerably large store. Online shopping available with click and collect. Good sized car park on High Street, corner of Childs Road, access from High Street only. Fresh meats and great range of alternate foods to the typical dry offerings.

Went into store today with my 82 year old father to purchase a reflector tube for hes fish tank there where 4 staff members all standing behind the counter we asked for help they just pointed the way not one of the staff members would leave

Excellent customer service from Jason as always! Very polite and always quick to resurrect a problem . Highly recommend this store as it is not my local but I chose to drive the extra mile as Jason goes the extra mile!
