I contacted Melbourne Gas about replacing my Brivis upflow 20 ducted gas heater; however, Matt advised me to repair the Brivis upflow because it is no longer available to purchase. He said he could inspect my heater after a few days. Since it was freezing, I insisted he does the inspection a bit earlier. Though he is not on tools, he arranged a meeting to do an inspection and guess what? He repaired my heater on the same day. He arrived as scheduled, and Matt immediately diagnosed the problem. He had to put in a brand new part. After that, he checked for carbon monoxide, cleaned the motor fan and vacuum cleaned after work. What I discovered about Matt was that he was enthusiastic, passionate, competent, and friendly nature. I thought they were true to their advertisement "Are you being forced to replace your gas appliance? Most likely, we can make it work! And of course, he made it work. Melbourne Gas Plumbing group is one of the best services I have come across. The process from beginning to end was so professional. From the administration staff, Jayde and Rhiannon, to the installation of a brand new heater and shower head from Matt and Brandon. I had Ameer out from Melbourne Gas Group come look at an issue with an aircon dripping water on the wall after another company had installed it less than 1 year ago and the installer had gone bust. He was wonderful. He suggested that my aircon had a cracked dripped tray and is still in warranty and should get it fixed from the manufacturer for free. He also educated me on potential causes for this and offered advice on how to regularly maintain it to ensure it’s running optimally. He was upfront and wouldn't want me to waste money. My real estate agent organized for a tradie to come out and service our air conditioner. The gentleman that came out was professional, informative and helpful. He answered all of my queries which helped me understand my evaporative unit better, serviced the system quickly and without interrupting my day (I work from home, and the weather was warm, I didn't want to be without aircon for too long!) and he left no mess where he worked. Because the work was part of my regular maintenance through a real estate agent as part of my lease, I don't know what the cost was, but for peace of kind through summer, I'm sure the value is there. I also liked the little tracking notification I received before he arrived. It was like Uber eats for my service.

On one of the coldest mornings in Melbourne is a number of years my Solar Panel sprung a leak. I called Melbourne Gas Group and Matt knew what the issue was straight away, a faulty frost valve. Within 4 hours from making the call Brandon and Chole arrived to fix the issue and get us through until we get it permanently fixed. I can not recommend the Melbourne gas group enough! I have had Matt, James and Chloe at my property and all were amazing! Matt kept me updated every step of the way when ordering my new heater. I have had many plumbers out to my house in regards to my hot water system and they were the first to diagnose the problem. Even Rhiannon who does the Admin was an absolute godsend in organising the guys to come out and fix my heater as soon as possible.
