I love the library in Merrylands. They have good service and you can keep the books for up to 3 months. I like the self service borrowing so you don't have to wait to borrow or return. The staff is amazing. You can bring your own device and use it with internet. Also the chairs are so comfortable. I like how there is a lift for non-accessible people hat want To to up stairs. The prints cost is so cheap. 10c for an A4 black and white print out. But one doubt i have is that there is a Chinese staff lady that is very impolite she does not let you do anything, she is always staring at you and bugs into your business. One time my dad was going to sit down with his friend and she comes up to me and tell me in a really rude way can you tell you dad to shut up. Also she does not allow you to talk to anyone, but i have seen her let other chinese people talk but with us she just does not allow us so i just ask for this lady to please stop with the racisim. 5 stars!!!!!

Very very noisy, the staff themselves are very loud especially upstairs. And the kids as well are loud as they keep running and screaming while their parents don’t care. Came to the library to study for HSC looking for quieter place than my home, then found it even harder to concentrate and study. The staff need to stop communicating so loudly with their peers and also need to ask loud people in the library to be quite especially kids!

I am the regular visitor to Merrylands library. It is fully equipped with huge variety of books ,magazines,newspapers and all the important current affairs.Its best features and services include: Printing at a very low cost Scanning cooperative reception staff quiet reading cabins It also engages and arranges many social events and functions for children. It has been a great experience.

Very Covid safe. Staff very helpful. Though the 1 hour limit per member per day on their limited public computers is a bit extreme as one can't do any research or write anything in an hour. Limited number of books but extremely lovely spacious clean premises. The air con is a dream on a sweltering day like today. Always love coming here to complete work or read or take out books.

I love the two level clean and tidy library. The staff here are very lovely and helpful, many computers , books , dvds , movies and more you can find here. For students it's the best place for studying as it very quit and they can have their studies done in peace and quit places made for them. There is free classes and get help with your home works

I came to get Certified Copies and it was the first time here on Friday. Library staff and JP volunteer is friendly and kind. I had 4 documents and he wrote his sign all of them. Location is nice. Clean and good environment. You can see green view from windows. I saw lots of flyers of events on the wall. I want to join these.

2 things. Firstly, terrible design inside. Outside its okay-looking. But inside theres a big wall blocking all the sunlight from the study section upstairs. Why??? Natural sunlight is better for your eyes and less electricity used. Secondly, too noisy. Its hard to focus with all the noises around.

One of the most careless people live here as they can help an old man print 2 pages but simply won't. How can people live if we have such closed minded society living in our libraries. Helpless or not helpfull when library computers don't work and staff are simply refusing to help print

Very convenient location, various services, huge range of books, lots of membership benefits and better opening hours than other libraries .staff members were quite courteous and prompt to help. Dedicated area for kids with range of books and videos.

Merrylands library has a good ambiance and have good librarians. Especially in times of pandemic they try to santize every after computer use and has social distancing. They are one of the libraries open and still function in times of the pandemic.

library ment to be a quite place. it's either clapping and singing for kids or talking loudly to library visitors if nor u'll defenetly get people on phone while sitting in study area and the library staff don't even bother to listen to ur concerns

This is no traditional library... It's a kids hang out with some books. Maybe I'm old fashioned but a library is not a place for gaming or the equivalent of childcare. More along the lines of research, reading and personally guided education.

Was mostly quiet for the 15 mins I was there trying to use the wifi. Worst inet/wifi of any LIbrary anywhere ever. 100MB daily limit AND super slow... I meam SLOW. Websites taking 15-45 seconds to load slow. Lift your game Merrylands LIbrary

one of the best public library, if you are the library visitor type like me. to be honest i don't know much about the book collection, but the environment is just nice to sit down and do some serious thinking kind of work.

Well kept library, internet wifi is average, no water fountain..bring your own water bottle, noisy in the morning when kids are present otherwise fine. I wish they kept Readers Digest Magazine like Wentworthville library.

Very spacious library with friendly staff and a nice outdoor area. Second floor has plenty of individual study desks for quiet study. Surprisingly quiet; a space that is very easy to focus in. Would come back.

Nice place to read the book and internet. But the internet connect service is not that long. When I went there, I could use around 1 hour?! I am not sure about that but wifi service is not that long.

Helpful librarians ! Free internet is always the best ! Gets really full during peak time . We need more chairs and tables at this particular occasion! Otherwise , I love this library !

One of the best library in western Sydney, dont have too many books but its quiet, large, plenty of space to sit. Staff is friendly. Free Internet access. Best place to be if studying.

Good ambience, but not good facilities such as no drinking water in the library nor electric power point at desk and no silent zone. Often, children playing around and yelling.

The worse customer service ever. If you need help they don't want or like to and there super super dry. Worse library haven't been back in so long and I won't be back.

I drive 45 minutes to get my documents signed and the lady on front desk told me the person who can sign on leave. No update on website Very poor service

It’s a very beautiful library with multiple facilities and also is very clean. All the staff was very helpful on where to go for certain items.

Love the ease of returning books. You just put them into a shelf storage with a sensor, check the status on an adjacent screen and off you go.

Great Library with new computers, free wifi huge dvd selection and of course interesting books. I'm nearly every day in that library.

This is a light and airy, comfortable library with the most amazingly helpful staff. I now go out of my way to come to this library.

I liked it at tuesday at 4pm. Needs more chairs but it's ok. I think it's better than strathfield and burwood library.
