The wine selection is great and the location is perfect for people watching on a nice day, however the last couple of times I have dropped in for a drink the staff have been really rude, and not just to me. I get with covid that hospitality is doing it tough but there’s no need to be impatient and short with people over the mask/check in situation. I saw a staff member with purple/grey hair hissing at people to wear their masks correctly and check in at warp speed, then lower her own to loudly demand a couple with kids move off a table they thought was free. She really put us off going back for a while.

always such a pleasant experience at mordy cellar door. the place is extremely friendly and welcoming, especially with the BYO food options, it feels like you're walking in right at home! an extensive and varied wine list, with something for everyone, and at great prices too! easy to pop into Woolworths close by for some cheese and crackers, or nearby restaurants like fish n chips to enjoy with your wine. the perfect local spot to catch up with friend and try some beautiful wines. would love to see an Orange added to their menu soon! thankyou mordy cellar, always such a treat!!!

If you want a table, summer months or not, you need to book or get in early! This place is super popular amongst the locals, so don't be fooled by its hole in the wall kind of appearance. great staff with an awesome selection of beers and wines that they can offer you all their knowledge about. It's byo food, meaning people tend to spend a lot of time here! The fish and chip store next door delivers right to your table, or grab some takeaway from anywhere up the bustling Mordialloc strip and settle in!

You have to love a place that has an amazing selection of wines and an atmosphere of being a guest at someones home. It is wonderful to see people bring home cooked meals in winter and sit by the open fire at the back enjoying a vino, with a home cooked meal while catching up with friends or loved ones. If you haven't been, then make the time to experience this wonder of Mordialloc hospitality.

Nice spot to enjoy a wine with friends. Bonus to be able to bring in food from the local shops. The older staff are great but there is one woman that is really bossy and rude. Even to those I figured were regulars. The younger staff want to chat and giggle to each other more than to customers. Oddly every table has a reserved sign on it even though they aren't.

My wife and myself have been visiting for a number of years. It is always enjoyable. There is a large range of Craft Beer as well as a big wine selection. Both the inside near the fireplace (in winter) or outside (in Summer) are very relaxing and enjoyable. The venue allows you to bring you own food, which usually makes an evening complete

Best coffee in Mordi! Good selection of wines, some that you can't get just anywhere, and competitive prices. Great range of boutique craft beers. Have never been let down by recommendations from Pete and his staff - they are a great bunch of people! BYO food is a great idea. Has become our "go to" for interesting wines and daily coffee.

Great place to explore wines and beers from all over, situated next to main roundabout in Mordy, one cannot miss it. Patrons are encouraged to bring their own food - which was a bit of a novelty. Limited seating inside out the back, or sit outside out the front. Symbiotic relationship with nearby fish and chip shop. :) check it out.

Love everything about this place! It’s our go to in Mordi when we want to chill in the sun with a nice glass of wine. Staff are always very friendly and accommodating and we love the concept of being able to support other local businesses and BYO food...The Bridge fish n chips next door is our favourite.

Extremely disappointed with the corkage charge placed on all their bottle of wines purchased from their cellar to drink onsite. $14 per bottle is absolute robbery....this is not a one off fee it's on every bottle you purchase and consume at one of their outdoor tables. Very disappointing!!

Great relaxing venue inside and out. Friendly staff. Very close to take away cafes where you can buy your food and take it back to the Cellar Door where you can sit and eat it while sitting at the tables and order coffees, alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks whilst eating your food

Love the individuality, amazing choice of wines easy to select from qr code on table, Shame that it doesn't give you more info on the wine other than its name, would be handy to have a description but none the less we enjoyed our Pinot Noir and the fact that is BYO food

On Friday 23/10 my mates and I cycled our way to Mordialloc after a long lockdown! Bought a coffee from Cellar Door and received exceptional service! The owner (I presume) brought the coffee out and hand delivered them with a smile on his face!

Great selection of wines and craft beers. Knowledgeable staff who help you to choose drinks. Great outdoor area overlooking the main street of mordialloc. Can order food from local restaurants to enjoy with your wine or byo cheese platter.

Made a booking for 2 people and have been loyal customers for years, Staff member offered us a table for 7 people when we arrived and refused to give us a smaller table or to wait for another table when it became available. Very very poor

Thoughtful range of wines and yes! - beers are not an afterthought. A cosy place for a drink inside or outside but alas; they've signed on to the council agenda of no smoking unlike other places in the area. Very friendly staff.

Love this place. Wines are great, service is awesome. And if you are looking for a coffee/hot chocolate, they make the best on Main Street. I have tried them all in Mordialloc, and I would not go anywhere else now.

Best concept ever, Great wines, old world and new world, take your own food or order from the many restaurants and food outlets along main street, and sit down, relax! Book ahead if you can!

This is a good place if you like good wine and craft beer. Its not cheap but not overly exspensive either. Another good thing is that they are always changing/updating their selection.
