A hidden gem although wine is not at rock bottom prices it is good quality and local. The young female waiter is helpful, friendly, respectful and a great promoter of the food which was priced affodably and accordingly with good sized servings, cooked well and delicious. The only small wrinkle, and the only reason I haven't given a five star rating, was the english barman who insisted on calling me mate repeatedly, and in doing so showed no respect for a much older man. It is very easy to call a customer sir or madam, or even without a specific nominal. I will return when possible because of the food and wine quality, the high standard of service provided by the young woman in spite of the english fellows "matey" attitude. Highly recommended.

We don't usually head out Mornington way, but came across Paul's and thought we would stop in before dinner. Firstly, the place was really welcoming, we were unsure if we were in the right spot at first and then the bartender gave us a bit of a shout and wave to come in which was nice. We grabbed a few beers and sat outside. Place has a really nice chilled vibe for some afternoon drinks. They have 10 taps serving local beer and a nice selection of wine. Will come back again and try their food.

We came here during the winter music festival and it was such a lovely tucked away spot. I am really sensitive to sound but unlike the other places we went to Mr Paul's was soundproofed really well, even though there was an amazing woman playing the guitar and the place was full, I didn't need to put my earplugs in and I could talk to my friends with ease. Plus it was dog friendly so patting doggos was a bonus! ♥️ We will definitely be coming back when we're in the area next.

The selection of beer and wine is on point, theres something there for every type of drinker, and the food is so delicious, great portion sizes. But where mr paul's sets itself apart is the care and attention to detail the staff shows to the service. So friendly, welcoming and they make sure you are having an enjoyable time without being too obvious about it. Its a very subtle but fantastic approach. 10/10 will definitly be back

Seriously enjoyable. Great beers. Great wines. Great spirits. And would you believe it, great food as well. The steamed pork buns are super tasty. The haloumi fries are solid. But wow, the pulled pork nachos are on a whole other level. There's seriously so much to enjoy about this place yet it's so unassuming. We will definitely be back.

Mr Pauls is our favourite place to go in Mornington. Food is always amazing. The boys like the beers, we like the wine, and soft drink alternatives always accommodated for. Popcorn chicken is hands down our fave meal to have and a close second is the pork bao buns!!!! Amazing. Amazing.

We had our son's 21st at Mr Paul's it's our 3rd event there and it never disappoints. Bel and Pad were amazing nothings a problem the food excellent beer selection and wines...boom awesome

Had a really nice cheese and meat platter to share here. Definitely recommend it, they explain what everything is when you receive it and there are a couple of cheeses, salami, cured hams, and pickles etc... Also really friendly service and nice selection of drinks.

The food is amazing, think tapas. Sensational little tidbits like Spanish bars. The staff are completely engaging, except to the guy with the girlie tattoo on the back of his neck. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Great gin and local beer.

The interior could definitely do with an update, but the food, drinks, and service are great. A comfortably casual place for a drink and bite - something a bit different from the sometimes very sterile Mornington atmosphere.

Fun bar with great service. Attended a birthday event here on the weekend and we were very well looked after. Shout out to Bel and Seth for being all round legends. The popcorn chicken and the chips are unbelievable!

Best little bar in mornington. May have changed hands recently? Noy 100% sure on that, the vibe in there has changed abit but still awesome drinks and really good food. Definitely try their popcorn chicken
