Most disappointing with NV Motors company. My car needed a Service, I was organising a service with my car but first I needed a car battery and I was quoted $460 from NV for my car, some excuse was given why the price gouge but after research and replacing the same battery I paid $217 for the same type and new from Repco, makes you think how much they overcharge. Then the guy was talking to me like I was stupid and started raising his voice and saying why I needed a special battery and I didn't want any more sales from him, so I hung up. He rang me back a minute later and started abusing me on the phone, I glad I'm not his wife, poor thing. This guy was totally out of order to ring me back, he should stick to fixing cars because he has no phone manners. Sadly, some mechanic's need counselling about behaviour towards

Service my BMW X1 there regularly. Always receive great service. Family business which cares about their customers. My car had an issue with start/stop function, which shuts down the engine when the car stops and restarts when the brake pedal is released. The issue was that transmission was switching to the park mode and the car would not move unless you manually turn it into the Drive mode. It was supper annoying. A few BMW dealership service centers looked into it and could not fix it. They reInstalled the software, tried other things - nothing helped. N.V.Motors looked at it, and suggested to replace the car battery, which had low capacity due to its 7 year age. The battery replacement fixed the issue with the start/stop function. Nick and his team promote thorough knowledge of BMW. However, after my first service with NV motors, three days post service, my car had a massive issues with the engine failure. I cannot believe this wasn’t picked up at the service, and after telling Nick that this has happened, his team were unable to diagnose the problem, suggesting extremely costly possibilities without accuracy. BMW have been able to diagnose the problem with a 4 part engine failure costing $10,000 and, were also reluctant to fix the car as the liability could have been on NV’s garage. My car is not even 4 years old and has done 70,000. And I will be servicing with BMW again and not use another non-dealer garage.

I took my car to the local mechanic and they didn’t even check my car over and quoted $7000 for a transmission replacement. NV motors checked my car over from top to bottom and showed me the findings from their computers. They talked me through the whole process and exact cost for the repairs were correct. Called this company to get a quote to issue a compliance certificate for our 2 cars we imported from the UK. Was quoted $1000 per car and was told it would take a week for each car, which I thought was extortionate. Called Flash Auto in Darling Hurst who quoted $150 per car and turned it around in 48hrs. Would give zero stars for this review if I could. Absolute rip off!

Rob Vetta runs a very tight ship. Offers a transparent service, is polite, engaged and clearly takes pride in good quality outcomes and excellent customer service. I was recommended to take my Range Rover here and am extremely impressed with the outcome. So glad to find an excellent local shop. Hate to say it but can’t wait for our next tune up! We had an urgent registration issue and the team at NV Motors were incredibly helpful and accommodating. They squeezed us in at the last minute even though they already had a packed schedule for the day, and they did the inspection while we waited that morning. They were also very friendly and pleasant to deal with - really glad we have them in the neighbourhood!

The mechanic's workshop is always a bit of a worry to me, however, from my very first visit to NV Motors I realised that these guys we honest and helpful. Been going to NV Motors for a few years now, both for rego and services. Their workmanship has ensured that I've never been stranded, and the price is as reasonable as you'll get for Euro cars. Rob also recently helped me out at 7am because I had to cover 500km later that day. If that doesn't deserve 5 stars, I don't know what does.

At NV motors they are always very honest, patient and helpful. They patiently taught me how to change my oil, and always explain things without making me feel silly. Their prices are very reasonable, and service polite and friendly. I could not recommend them more highly.

The experience we had with this business has been negative. They dropped our radio which caused damage beyond repair and tried to claim it after. Their employee confirmed the radio was dropped in the process of installation. Dishonest dealings, avoid if you can.

Rob and his team always provide a very high standard of service. They are honest and reliable, and always go the extra mile. I’ve never known car servicing and maintenance to be as easy and efficient as it is at NV. They have serviced our Mercedes and BMW.

Expensive. $106 p/h for labour. Unfortunately got into an argument over the bill which didn't help first impressions. I think the moral of the story is if you get anything done to your car in the Eastern Suburbs be prepared to pay through the nose for it.

We had an ongoing issue with a leak in our roof that let water in to the car, that had baffled all the other mechanics we went to. These guys knew straight away what the issue was and fixed it properly and once and for all. Magicians! very happy.
