Unacceptable and intolerable behaviour from MONTY, a bank employee. He gave us disgusting customer service by providing us wrong information that NAB can’t open bank account for people who are on visitor visa. If he doesn’t have a knowledge then he shouldn’t say anything or escalate the case to someone who is more experienced in the branch. I visited their with my parents and felt so bad and disappointed. My husband and me already have an account with NAB from last 7 years and this is the reason why I took my parents their. After this terrible experience, my dad was questioning me that this is the kind of bank you are with who doesn’t even value their customers. Anyways, I have already open their account in NAB itself in other branch. Disgusting and terrible experience ever

I ordered a new card for me from this branch earlier in the week. Today I just opened our letterbox and found a new card for my husband who hadn't ordered it. I went to the branch and the curly haired guy who served me previously served me again. After 10 minutes he confirmed he had ordered the wrong card and gave a very half hearted apology. He clearly did not give a toss as to the inconvenience to me and my husband caused by his error and did not seem to understand or care how serious it was that he had issued a card without the request or consent of my husband. Check v carefully all dealings with this branch! They obviously do not pay attention to detail.

When I googled the nearest branch, I saw the low reviews and wondered how could the reviews be so low, and who would review a bank!? Now I’m sitting here reviewing the bank. It’s been a long time since I’ve withdrawn cash from a bank and this was a painful experience. Two tellers were for some reason required to talk to one customer. They made no acknowledgment I was in line next, while I stood there waiting for a few minutes. Further my transaction took over 10 minutes and the two staff serving me were not friendly or personable. I could hardly get eye contact. I could keep waffling on but bottom line is it was absolutely horrible. Never again.

Nice looking branch office. No teller available but deposit/ATM machines only. The cash/cheque deposit machine can only receive max 50 notes at 1 go. It kept spitting my bank notes. I retried it by crumbling the notes and deposit them in small batched. Message appeared saying that i have reached 50 notes. Pressed the next button to process only was told that the account can't receive cash deposit and then all the 50 notes were spitted out. Wasted at least 10 m minutes. Why its so difficult to deposit mobey to NAB Account? I never had that problem with my CBA Account. Always a very quick and smooth experiences with their machines.

I visited this branch just a couple of minutes ago, person named MONTE or MONTY served me very rudely. I told him that I am here for opening a bank account for my parents and he just refused. Seems like he doesn’t want to work. He replied me that we can’t open a bank account for visitors whereas I called this morning to double check with NAB, person over the phone told me that yes we can open a bank account. That’s why I visited the branch with all the documents. Very disappointed with this disgusting service, NAB must train their employees properly so that they can’t misguide people and waste our valuable time too.

Went to the Newtown branch to open an account for my child. The teller did not know how to open accounts for children, actually and called her manager. After we left, they rang us to come back - forgot to give a paper to sign. Nex day, we realised that the teller made a mistake in the home address. Took us two 30 min calls to NAB to correct it. And finally a cherry on the cake: after a week of the card non-delivery and 30 min call to NAB we were informed the card has never been issued! Now wait if someone calls us on Monday, because the branch is closed for the weekend after all hard work!

Told me today they don't accept coins. 'Huh? Why not?" Oh we don't have a coin machine - go to Broadway. "No - the coins are all bagged up - you have been closed forever - I just want to deposit into my account' Go to Broadway. "So you are telling me you don't accept legal tender?' Well we are closing now - come back tomorrow ad we will do it this one time - but next time go to Broadway. Wow!

Not specifically about this branch but NAB in general: basically the end stage of the capitalist dream. Outsource as much to machines and automatization till the system fails. Long waiting que's in branch, redirect you to phone number where you also wait long. Applied for 3 cards, 3 times i had to run after them. I don't trust this bank with my money.

I just visited this branch today, Monty served me very badly. He was so rude and harsh while I was just asking him about opening an account. He said we are very busy, fully booked can’t do anything right now. So, there is always a polite way to talk to customers. Disgusting customer service I have ever get in Australia.

Have had a few visits here as it is my local NAB branch, and each experience has been super helpful. There are two young ladies working in there at the moment who are amazing, friendly and easy to deal with. Any issues I've had, they've resolved on the spot. Keep it up!

Just went to the branch to open new accounts, the customer service with the team was great! Sisilia patiently guide us through every step. Explain every of our question, we satisfy with the experience. Definitely will go back again :)
