The only place to store your stuff on the South side of the inner city. Well run, quick and easy to get to, clean, secure and well laid out plus you can park up close to your locker. Very fair rates for the position and accessibility. I used them for a year in 2004 when I left Melbourne, just used them again for 9 months on my return to Melbourne. Unbelievably, Darren is still in charge! Great guy who will go the extra mile to accommodate your requirements - he very kindly organised last-minute access on Anzac Day 2017, when they were closed and my worldly possessions were arriving by truck from Sydney. After a couple of months when I bought a place, I needed to downsize and Darren made it easy to switch lockers. Definitely can't go past Fry's Port Melbourne for inner-city storage.

We recently moved our furniture and household items into one of the storage units at Frys in Port Melbourne . We couldn't have been happier - Darren was very professional to deal with and the storage unit is clean and easier to access- they also recommended a carrier - Peter Sadler Transport who also did an excellent job with the move.We can certainly recommend Fry's Self Storage.\ It is now nearly 2 years later and we have finally moved our contents to our new home - I just wanted to reiterate our earlier comments when we moved into Fry's Storage Facility at Port Melbourne that Darren does a great job as Manager and we couldn't have been happier with the service we received from him - highly recommended.

Darren was extremely helpful when I needed to have furniture stored suddenly on a Friday afternoon. He also recommended a trusted removalist company, however they were not available & I booked another, however Darren came to the rescue with a storage space and we had our furniture stored in a matter of hours. It was a short term rental, and they still offered a reduced first month rate. I was really impressed with the short turn around, and found the experience professional, efficient and came in on budget. The only issue is the location is right on the corner of the on-ramp to the Westgate - so avoid peak hour otherwise you will get stuck! Other than that thanks Fry's Port Melbourne!

Even though it was near closing time for the day, the staff were more than happy to take us through our options and recommended the cheapest option for our needs. We had the good fortune to find Fry's Storage as we were relocating from interstate. Darren the store manager couldn't have done more to meet our needs and support us in setting up and helping relocate some of our possessions to this secure storage. He gave us confidence that our possessions would be secure and easily accessible if required. No question or challenge was too trivial for either he or Raph to answer or solve. My first experience utilising a storage facility and couldn't have asked for anything more from Fry's. After really poor customer service at another well known storage service P... Fry's was reccomended to me by the removalist company I hired. Darren is an absolute champion, he has been very accommodating to me and a bit of a laugh on the phone too! The facility is locked down like a prison and the units themselves are very clean and secure. Don't bother trusting anyone else with your belongings, I will only ever use Fry's.

I stored my furniture with Fry's Self Storage for a few months. Their staff was super friendly and helpful. The facilities are clean and well kept, with cameras in all the hallways and all sorts of trolleys to move your staff in and out (as well as a large elevator). They also give you a personal code to be able to access your unit even when the front desk is closed, which comes in handy if you need to access staff on Sundays. Highly recomended.

Darren the Port Melbourne manager runs the place like a well oiled machine . Spotless, well organized too. At first was reluctant to take an upstairs space. However there is a good lift. They provide every form of packing material you need. Couldn't recommend them highly enough.
